Rating two stars because at least i got one of my fabrics, but the compliments end there. I needed…read moresome silks for a project so i mistakenly ordered from this site thinking that i was getting a good price. Two weeks roll by and i get no shipping information which they claim to send after 5 business days. I reach out to ask when my order might be shipped. Days pass, and i finally get a response saying that my fabric was suddenly on backorder and wouldnt ship for another month and a half at best. They said that i can cancel if i wanted. Good thing i even reached out, other wise i would've never had known this. So i ask to cancel only those that were on back order, and ship the one fabric that hadn't shipped yet. I did a payment plan through affirm, and had already paid half of the whole order which was not at all cheap. They say they are refunding me, but i find out they only refunded me for HALF of what was cancelled, even though they offered the cancellation. I go to their website, theres nothing about only getting half your money back, so i reach out and ask what happened for me to only get half of what was owed, and they send me my order receipt which is only half of the total i ordered! Obviously this is wrong and you can see it on my order on their website, so i send photos of my order, what was paid, etc. they say it must be a miscommunication, so i wait another few days and then open a dispute with affirm. Affirm rules in their favor even though im out 200 dollars with only one low quality fabric that cost $20 to show for it. More weeks pass, im still waiting for the one fabric that WASNT cancelled that they said would ship after the dispute closed, so i reach out again. They email me back days later saying that i already got my charge back (untrue) and that they wont be sending the ONE fabric that is already paid for. This site is not only a scam, but likely a drop shipper. Buy from literally anyone else. I have never had this level of issue with any other fabric retailers and i buy fabric from everywhere. If it looks too good to be true, IT IS.

They sent me a large piece of fabric that was a completely different color than the picture. I sent…read morethem a picture of what they sent me, and a picture of the ad selling the fabric, which were starkly different. They absolutely refused to acknowledge the difference in the fabric, saying it was not their mistake, but I should order more carefully, and refused a refund. Or I could return it for a refund at my own expense. Very low integrity of this company. In addition shipping has become ponderous. 3 weeks to get an order. Sometimes if order doesn't ship, I have to call them, and then it ships within two days, which indicates that they lost the order or forgot about it. How low can you go, denying that you misrepresented a product in order to refuse a refund, despite pictures that are clearly different! I will never shop there again. In refusing to refund a $17 mistake on their part, they have lost my business forever. I was a very consistent customer for years. But no more.

I love how they are a non-profit so proceeds go to those in need. I've been making needlepoint keychains for years now for thoughtful handmade gifts. Very unique place for the crafters of the world. My daughter is now 27. The new store is larger, brighter and has much more merchandise. The new, expanded store is full of so many other things. Gifts, probably many for wedding gifts. Cheese, spread platters. Serving plates, bowls. Gorgeous stuff. Tervis glasses of many dimensions. MIZZOU stuff, KC stuff. Jewelry, baby gifts, baby clothes, beautiful picture frames, hand-woven rugs. Solmate socks (http://www.socklady.com/index.php), including those for children with an extra sock. Genius! An exceptional amount of Easter decorations which looked unique to me. So bright and cheery. I didn't mess around much in the yarn/thread/pattern area of the store, which is probably half of the store. But there's a lot of stuff there. My girlfriend brought in some embroideries she'd done for Christmas tree ornaments. You can do the needlework, and have them do the finishing. That was her mission. I think five people came to review and understand her request. To get it right. Because she's particular about what she wants. This isn't just a store. It's a philanthropic endeavor: http://www.signofthearrow.com/about-us/ Everyone who works there is a volunteer. Started in 1966, it's a community support organization from the St. Louis Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi. A great place to patronize.
