Costa Rican espresso. Best costa I've had this year.

This is my favourite place for coffee in Melbourne. The pour house does everything it's supposed to right, coffee is awesome, service is pleasant and accommodating. The coffee is consistently good and they do the best batch brew in town, by a long shot (no pun intended). It's also bottomless cup! I couldn't care less about the handmade, kiln fired cups and saucers, the modest yet stylish fitout or the gourmet menu offerings, but understand that that is what most people look for. I just love that the coffee is exceptionally good and the service is excellent. Also, for a city coffee joint, the parking is ample and there's even free 1/4P spots right outside.

Really cool little place just on the outskirts of the CBD that does a mean cup of joe. I'm a big fan of the casual fitout and understated and casual atmosphere. The service was prompt and they made sure to keep us topped up with water on the side too. The coffee itself was smooth and tasty, served in some funky little cups and saucers. The cups have no handles and the saucers made it pretty tricky to rest a spoon on without it falling on the table but it wasn't really an issue, and I'd still take one of those over a standard cup any day. They had a good looking menu with simple and effective dishes, but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try the food - I did spy a few of the dishes as they came out and regretted that I didn't have an appetite. They also boast a wide range of tasty looking pastries and cakes in the cabinet up front. Overall quite a cool place with a great vibe.

The pulled beef sandwich was up there with the best I've EVeR had. Home made pickles and tangy sauce from heaven.

I am thankful this coffeehouse is just around the corner from me. Smooth coffee and the foods not too shabby either!

Review Highlights - The Queensberry Pour House

Starting with the house-made kiln-fired cups, the roaster out the back and the bottomless filter coffee, it is clear that this cafe was designed with purpose.
