You get a lot of food here so if you're hungry you're not going home disappointed. I should've had the fish and chips instead though which looked much nicer. Next time maybe. The beer was a bit pricey and they tended to of the hipster type, that is lots of pale ales from the States. Nothing wrong with that but just because you have Guinness on tap it doesn't make you an Irish pub. Overall a nice place to hang out in and have a few pints. Liked the atmosphere and the people working at Buddy's were genuinely friendly. I'd have no problem coming back here or recommending the place to my friends.

If one would complain about anything, the paddies were a bit on the thin side. Fries were ok, though of the thin standard variety. For a 189:- burger I would assume something more. Coleslaw was approved, though it's not my favorite piece on a burger plate so don't take my word for it. All in all, a very decent meal at a nice restaurant, that gets almost an extra full star for atmosphere. With the bar getting constantly raised for burger joints in the larger Stockholm area, I'm missing some oomph, though I am leaving satisfied. I will be coming back. On a general note; when will burger joints trying to position themselves seriously in Sweden start serving sweet potato fries? We need need more sweet potato fries in our lives!

Found this pub in Old Town Stockholm when we went to watch some weekend football matches (European…read morenot American). The pub itself had a good vibe where everyone was friendly and genuinely enjoying themselves. The decor of the pub was a lot of a lot of pub signs and usual things that you would find in a pub. It has a small but pretty cool layout when you could go down some winding stairs and find yourself in another seating area. Because of the pubs popularity and game time it was very packed in the bar area but the bar tender did a good job of attending to everyone. As for the food I enjoyed the fries we had and the vegan burger was alright. As you know my ratings go off of the expectations of how the place rates against similar places so as old school pubs go this was good, but do understand that typical old school pubs aren't well lit, don't have all balanced tables, and great seating in the entire place to enjoy the game. So if you're looking for those things you might want to check out some other places.

An incredibly fun place in Gamla Stan!…read more Spread over two floors, the main one at street level has the big TVs for watching sports and the Jameson Cellar at the basement level is AMAZING! it's like a maze of sorts with a lot of nooks and little alcoves for quiet conversations. Even though the main area where the band sets up is a tight squeeze, it helped us to make friends with locals fast and had a great time. The FREE music is awesome too. I hated the fact that the bartender measured my gin when I asked for a G&T, but what the heck! this is Scandinavia right? I need to pre-game at the hotel next time before going out.
