However I tried it again last week and it was outstanding. They have bought the shop next door and expanded to make probably the largest lounge plus restaurant in town. We had a couple of drinks at the bar to find the bartender was actually an Englishman who had arrived in Sweden via New Zealand. Drinks selection is good but focused on bottle beer, spirits and cocktails nothing much in the way of draft beer. Onto the food, the starters are based on tapas so we started with goat cheese wrapped in bacon and chorizo with garlic bread. All excellent. Mains were equally good I had chicken with pepper sauce and my colleague had the steak. Very good quality and generous portions. We were both pretty full afterwards so rather than desert we had a cocktail each. Price wise it's not cheap even in Sweden. £160 for 2 people but it is exceptional! Give it a go in this town which seems to open a new upmarket restaurant each week.

The burger itself were a good burger: the flavors mixed well, the bread was fresh and the meat cooked well without going dry. If one would complain about anything, the paddies were a bit on the thin side. Fries were ok, though of the thin standard variety. For a 189:- burger I would assume something more. Coleslaw was approved, though it's not my favorite piece on a burger plate so don't take my word for it. All in all, a very decent meal at a nice restaurant, that gets almost an extra full star for atmosphere. With the bar getting constantly raised for burger joints in the larger Stockholm area, I'm missing some oomph, though I am leaving satisfied. I will be coming back. I grew up in a farm town and spent my time playing baseball and lived next to a hunting ground, I know what being American means. And by jove this restaurant serves some of the most authentic American burgers I've ever tried here in Sweden. The meat was fresh, the cheese was real, and the french fries were just crunchy enough on the outside, yet soft and potato-y on the inside. The atmosphere of the open kitchen gives off the feeling of the American spirit of efficiency, yet still holding the quality of a gourmet burger. However, I think personally that the place could use a makeover, as it feels a bit bland and almost childish with the brightly colored chairs and tables which feel sort of out of place with the blank white walls surrounding the dining area. The buns on the burger could have also been a bit softer. It is difficult to achieve the perfect bun, crunchy around the edges but soft in the middle, and I would say the burger did reach the gourmet level, the only part I did not think really made it was the buns. Maybe it was just the time of day I got here but, just keep in mind Dylan. Work your buns.

This is obviously a good sign that they are doing something good, but i wanted to go hardcore so i went to the crime scene where it all started in the truck. Its literally located in nowhere and you wouldnt find it unless you know about it. When we arrived it was pretty empty, but after a couple of minutes the line started to jam up. The menu offers you double or single burgers, fries and sodas. I went with burger only and added bacon for the taste. It took about 10-15 minutes to get the burger and it was nicely wrapped in a anonymous paper. We sat down by one of their tables on the hard court and started indulging the masterpiece. Burger was tasty and flavory and fell apart easily as you took a bite. The brioche bread was lightly toasted and complemented the patty very good. I had the Pacific which also adds avocado and pico the gallo which was a nice addition to the overall impression. Extra bacon was also crispy just the way i wanted. This is a good if not a great burger. Pricing is very reasonable for the segment, but you wont dine in a sassy environment, at least not at this location. So if you like burgers, this is definitely one of the must tries, and you cant settle until you give it your own opinion.

Unfortunately, I have now moved from Eskilstuna, but on a return trip, I will consider going back and indulging in one of their offerings. My first review from 2019 had a two-star , as I experienced terrible service and a burger that was completely over-cooked. So I'm glad I went back and was able to adjust my review!
