My go to is a Sicilian pizza which is salty, slightly spicy and full of meat. The toppings steal the show for this pizza. The crust is crispy around the edges but the center needs a little help to hold up all the toppings. If you aren't into pizza they have a lot of other options on their menu. You won't be disappointed!

This time my mom and I went and we agreed, it's not quite the same, but still pretty tasty! When we first walked in, we were not greeted... rather the boy at the front said "why are you here?" We thought that was super strange and I asked "are you closing?" He said "no" and just stood there... We said "ok well can we get a table then?" And he said "oh sure, just pick one" Not a great start. However, our waitress was wonderful! I didn't get her name but she was an older woman with long black and white hair. She was so sweet and took very good care of our table! We got onion rings whichwere great! They had a crunch and the onions were done well! Im not sure if they were beer battered, but it tasted that way! They are served with a side of ketchup. My mom got the chicken dinner with a baked potato and coleslaw. She said it was all very good! She said it did taste different than years ago, but still very good! My boys and I got the thin crust half cheese half pepperoni pizza. Again not quite the same as what I remember but very tasty! This is a very greasy pizza which would probably taste amazing with a cold beer and a game on the tv!

Our group had several entrees and a large side of fries for the table. We have someone searching for the perfect fries. These were very good but not perfect - the search continues. Had us seated quickly and got drinks out pretty quickly. During this dinner I drank a Cherry Manhattan and ate Cajun Bourbon pasta. I typically love a Manhattan but I wasn't impressed with this Cherry Manhattan. It seemed like it was pure whisky and a drop of sweet Vermouth. The ratio of the cocktail was definitely all wrong. Good thing I like straight whiskey I guess. The Cajun Bourbon pasta was good, but I wouldn't venture to say great. It was overly creamy and just didn't pack any spice that you'd expect to be associated with Cajun. Overall it just lacked a richness in flavor. I would still recommend this spot despite food and drink being average. Barley and Vine had a beautiful location with some magnificent wood working that is a feast for the eyes. Additionally they bring in live music on Saturdays so that adds some enjoyment if you appreciate loud live music. 4/5 due to these many factors mentioned.

He was SUPER FRIENDLY, very courteous, knowledgeable about the menu and exceedingly efficient. Taking drink orders shortly after seating us AND they were delivered minutes later. Lemonade for my sis-in-love and GUINESS for the rest of the party. She had the apple, pecan salad chicken salad which was thoroughly enjoyed. The menu contains a nice variety of choices. I had the Chicken Salad. It was BEAUTIFUL! Avocado, red onions, craisins (YUM!!) and a beautifully prepared chicken breast. It was fantastic! My husband ordered a blackened turkey with white American cheese on chula mayo on cheddar crusted Vienna bread. He loved it! It looked really nice - - and it came with fried to perfection and seasoned sour cream. The sour cream was an additional cost, but a nice touch for sure. Our brother-in-love had the monthly special. Called "The Oh-MaMa" it looked super.

The beef patty is a little under seasoned and I would've liked a little more cheese inside the Juicy Lucy patty. The waffle fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seasoned sour cream is a little on the runnier side and not super flavorful. The chicken nachos were delicious! The queso was flavorful and the chicken was cut into bite sized cubes. The queso and toppings were spread out over all the chips so there weren't a bunch of chips at the bottom that had no queso or toppings on it. I had the snack size of the Golden BBQ bone-in wings. The wings were juicy and I liked the sweetness paired with the slight vinegar tang in the golden BBQ sauce. The snack size had 5 wings. Service is fast and there is plenty of seating available, with a mix of tables and booths.

The lunch size was perfect for me! My husband got the burger. I tried a bite and the meat was SO good!! Our only complaint is we didn't love the fries. Our server was great. The bar was nearly empty, there were maybe 5 people in the bar/restaurant when we arrived. I don't think it was slow on the bartenders part as much as it was our server. A couple Guinness, a black and tan and a hot cider later, we waited to order food. While eating we decided we didn't want to wait any longer for our server so we went to the bar to ask for waters, our drinks long gone at this point. We also got up to get our own ketchup. Burger was fine but mostly flavorless. Cottage pie was fine, had I not been starving I likely wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. The food was just OK, nothing memorable or spectacular about it. Prices were pretty high for what it was, $17 for a cheeseburger is pretty outrageous, cottage pie in a ramekin was $18. Server wasn't very friendly, or was just in a bad mood that day. She spent a lot of time in the back (this was between major meal times, around 3:30-4) so she didn't seem super engaged or have much desire to be out on the floor. 3% surcharge for credit card

When I called the Manager the next day to complain, the Manager told me that it was on my wife to say something that night, completely victim blaming. What I understand after talking to the Manager is that if you are sexually harassed at this bar then it is up to you defend yourself and the staff are not trained in nor care about creating a safe environment for everyone wanting to be there. As another side experience, that is not as important as the safety at this restaurant, we waited two hours for our food. They were very busy so we were understanding. However, when the food came out they told us that they ran out of the food my sister in law has ordered.... AFTER they had made everyone else's food. They asked if she wanted anything else but said it would probably be another long wait... We left.
