Purple flower with bottom half wilted and petals falling of once touched
    Elaine L.

I've received another beautiful bouquet of flowers from my other half who got it from the Pua Bar. I adore their style and the unique selections they have. My other half doesn't know flowers and so he found Pua Bar to help him select and create something I'll like. I know it's on the pricier side but given the type of flowers, I'm always delighted to receive it. Unfortunately on both occasions the flowers did not last very long. Yes, we did cut the stems before transferring it to a vase. The flowers are limp quickly and by night fall, some of the flowers are already losing some petals. How sad is that?!? I barely had time to enjoy them and they are already dying.

I needed to find a Kauai florist 3 days before my best friend's birthday. I live on Oahu, but my friend lives on Kauai in Lihue. I'm so happy I found The Pua Bar!! I called them and they took my order over the phone. I paid through Venmo. It was made so easy. I asked them to make a beautiful bouquet for my friend who just gave birth AND is having a birthday. I gave them my budget and they made such a beautiful bouquet!! They didn't offer to do deliveries, but I managed to wrangle my friend's husband to pick up the flowers for her! Haha. Thanks to Tasha and the rest of the team at The Pua Bar for making it possible! Something so simple means so much these days.

Stumbled upon The Pua Bar while waiting for the Kaua'i Safari and I'm so glad we did. We were celebrating my birthday so of course I wanted to grab some lei. I got a beautiful two strand pikake lei and the smell was so sweet! We were able to talk story with Hailey for a bit and she gifted me a pikake comb as well. How sweet is that??! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for flowers to stop by the shop and support this local business, you won't regret it! Will definitely be back.

I work at Olukai & we had our grand opening on Friday the 18th & Hailey (not sure if i spelt it right, sorry!!) arranged three BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements for our company. when i came in the day after the store opening to make my anniversary bouquet with my partner i noticed some things in the shop that were in our arrangements at work so i went to work the next day & asked who made them. come to find out it was The Pua Bar!! She truly is the best & everyone LOVED them. i had so many customers take pictures of her arrangements & complement them. Hailey you did a wonderful job & you definitely have gotten yourself a repeating customer (ME!! ) i just wanted to come on here and give you another review because you did the most amazing job! you can see the love & effort she puts into her work. this right here is the place to go if you need any floral things done.

Text message sent to Haylee on wedding inquiry.

I stumbled across the Pua Bar Instagram page and saw a beautiful bouquet that I wanted recreated for my wedding. I went to the Pua Bar in person on 3 different occasions - showed the employees my vision and was quoted $250 for a luxe bridal bouquet. I paid this amount months in advance. The day before my wedding, 20 mins before our rehearsal; my wedding coordinator picked up the bouquet for me. Upon her arrival to rehearsal I was in shock and disappointed. I could not fathom the fact that I had purchased a LUXE WEDDING BOUQUET for $250 and have the product look like this. I quickly referred back to my text message exchanges back with Haylee and saw that the reference photos were not even close in similarity. I had asked for specific flowers and it appeared the only flowers that made the cut were the anthuriums and orchids. Attached are photos of the Inspo bouquets sent to Haylee via text, the product I received the first time, product received second time, and the Inspo pics I resent her because she informed me she did not receive any photos. Back to what happened, I called Haylee and informed her that the luxe bridal bouquet I received did not look anything like the photos I've sent her, and did not appear to reflect a $250 payment. Haylee then "apologized" and said, May is a busy month, she's got multiple orders, claimed to have run out of florals, claimed that the flowers in my bouquet were expensive, blamed the wedding coordinator, etc.. I explained to her that this inquiry was made months ago and I understand that May is a busy month which is why I inquired months in advance. At this point I did not want to continue with the conversation, I asked for a refund and informed her that the bouquet would be brought back. She denied my refund and only offered store credit - however, she also did offer to add more florals to my bouquet but needed to leave the shop by 5:30 pm (this call was made at 2:41pm) and my wedding rehearsal was to start at 3 pm in Kapaa. I told her that I was unable to get there before she leaves since I have my wedding rehearsal at 3pm, she again informed me that she would be leaving the shop at 5:30 pm since she's got two lei po'os that she still needs to get done. My friend offered to take the bouquet to the Pua Bar and assist with the product. So, I let Haylee know my friend would be coming into the shop to add more florals to the bouquet. While in rehearsal my friend sent photos of the "new" bouquet. It still did not resemble the "vision" I had. I asked if we could add more white flowers and was told by Haylee - "this is all I could do". The Pua Bar has failed me. It's a shame since I literally asked for a bouquet that they had already created in the past. When I received the second bouquet, I redid it with the help of my bridesmaids (something that became an inconvenience) - attached are photos of the bouquet I made using what I could from the Pua Bar and leftover florals from my centerpieces. If you're an upcoming bride, or inquiring on wedding services please save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. The customer service, communication, and overall experience was terrible. I do not wish for anyone to endure the same experience.

Brought my wife here during our staycation anniversary. She loves flowers so the fact that she could make her own was very fun. Everything is by the stem and it's honestly priced very reasonably, and they wrap it for you which is awesome. Girl at the counter was super helpful and the shop was such a vibe.

Have you ever seen someone visit Hawaii on television or in a movie and they step off the plane and…read moresomeone immediately puts a lei on them? Yeah, that doesn't really happen unless you pay someone for that "experience." Hollywood has pretty much given them a great industry through. This is a fairly simple flower shop that specializes in leis, presumably for those occasions when you want to greet someone with a lei coming straight off a plane, or for putting on a lei when you are about to leave. They have both plastic and real flower leis, with the freshest ones sitting in a refrigerated section. Their prices are considerably higher than I've seen at other stores around the area, but for the convenience of being at the airport and being able to have the whole experience, I'm sure it's worth it for most people.

The other factor that kept me from doing so, were the signs in the airport about checking for plants and other animals entering the island and what not. I wasn't really sure how strict they were with plants and animals leaving their habitat. I suppose it was fine as the store was permitted in the airport, but all those signs entering the island had me nervous I might have accidental catnip or cat fur on me that would trigger some warning. The flowers and plants were absolutely gorgeous. I wish now I had brought one back to Texas as the natural flowers and foliage of Hawaii were beautiful and having a living reminder of my honeymoon would have been nice. I did go as far as to check the plants to see if they had pointers as to how to keep them alive. I don't have a green thumb, but anyone who does should be able to keep their plants alive, as long as they don't live in Texas where weather is psychotic. The staff was friendly, the space was small, but the smell and variety made me wish I could have stayed a bit longer to browse, but leaving the island I didn't feel too comfortable to browse too long in case our plane departed immediately. It's a lovely store, and if you feel daring, you should buy one of the pretty flowers to take home.

Thank You to Timory and Joel at "Aloha Ever After" for making our special day the most amazing…read moreexperience ever! When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. We've returned once to revisit for our anniversary and to reflect on the memories. We hope to go again someday to renew our vows and you know my first call will be to Aloha Ever After! Thank You for a job well done!
