Outstanding floral arrangement and superb service! I wanted an arrangement with an ikebana feeling for my wife's birthday, and needed delivery on a Sunday for a family week in Princeville. Their website (jcsflowerskauai.com) shows a large variety of arrangements and the tropical section had just what I wanted. I've been trying to contact this place multiple times over the course of 3 weeks and have left voicemails in an attempt to place an order. This place was recommended by the Hilton hotel on Kauai and so far, I've been really disappointed with my experience. I really don't know what is the issue, especially since I only call during business hours and using the phone number on Yelp (which is the same one on the website). I either get the voicemail or it sounds like someone picks up and then hangs up. Hopefully someone will get back to me so that I can change my review. read more

Fun little store to get leis that won't cost you an arm and a leg. We needed specially made leis with mailei leaves for a Celebration of Life ceremony, and although the staff of JC's weren't expecting any to arrive in time, they acommodated us and put in a rush order. We also had purple orchid and tuberose leis made for the participants of the ceremony. The leis were beautiful, smelled like heaven, and the employees were pretty helpful. Do make sure to pre-order 5-7 days ahead if you need something special, or even just to make sure they have the flowers you need in stock. You would think a lei would be easy to find on the island but I had trouble finding them for my girls. A couple places that had them wanted 24 hours as a preorder meaning I couldn't pick them up until the next day. Finally I came across this place and they had plenty of them. A very nice selection and at great prices. So I was able to get them for my girls and since they were also a mini mart I was able to grab a few other things as well. read more

So, I live on Oahu and my boyfriend was working up in Kauai and was there for Valentine's Day, so I figured I'd look for a local florist so that I could send him something small and it would get to him on time. I found JC's flower and mini mart on yelp and figured I'd give them a try. Ordering and pricing was easy and affordable! Also, delivery was SAME DAY! Nonetheless, as it turns out, the basket may have been delivered to the wrong unit or whatever the circumstances were-- it didn't get to my boyfriend. I called the shop back and spoke to Calvin. He was very nice and so understanding! After trying to figure out what went wrong Calvin offered for another basket to be sent or to just give me my money back. I told him my boyfriend wasn't going to be there much longer so there was no need to send another one. Calvin completely understood and had no problem giving me my money back! Came to Kapa'a, Kauai for my destination wedding. I didn't order a bouquet ahead of time because I thought I would be able to buy flowers at a farmers market and make my own bouquet. That was NOT the case! There were not a lot of flowers available at the farmers markets we visited. Many locals recommended JC's. Do NOT let his small shop deceive you about your expectations, all of his flowers are in a back room out of site. JC showed me all the flowers he had available and asked how much I would like to spend, I said $50 for a large 8" round bouquet and needed the bouquet ready in LESS than 24 hours!
