THANK YOU SO MUCH ARLENE!!! Called in super last minute for Valentines and Arlene was extremely helpful, flexible with my budget and incredibly talented/knowledgeable! These flowers were made with minimal input by me for my wife, I pretty much only explained a theme/vibe and Arlene made this beautiful arrangement. My wife couldn't have been happier They also delivered the flowers (for a fee) directly to the hotel before I even checked in. Look no further if you want/need flowers in Kauai!
Arlene & her team are awesome! They do beautiful work, are friendly, reliable & made the process to order/pick up a breeze. I ordered a Haku/ Lei Po'o for my friend 2 weeks in advance. When I called I didn't know which flowers/ colors to choose, but Arlene is a pro & was able to work with my basic idea of multi colors, while using local plants to keep the haku traditional. Arlene nailed it! She used these beautiful unique golden colored orchids from her farm with a few other flowers to add a pop of color & braided in the traditional Ti leaves. Just have to say we loved it! The quality is superb & survived the winds on our sailing trip up the Napali coast. This photo of the haku is from the day after sailing & it still looks amazing!
BLUE ORCHIDS was a life saver. They could fulfill our super last minute order for a standing wreath for my mother-in- law funeral for delivery the next morning. Our original order was through JUST FLOWERS, which was made 1 month in advance. And called to tell us day before the funeral to tell us that they couldn't fulfill our order. But could replace it with a plastic vase with tropical flowers. Can you believe that! We are so grateful to Arlene for making this happen. Highly recommend them for all your flower needs. I'm so grateful to Blue Orchid. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I wanted something fresh, modern and effortless. They really listened to what I wanted and were exceptionally accommodating, which I explain in detail, below. My husband and I traveled from California to Kauai for our beach elopement. Our officiant recommended Blue Orchid so we had originally arranged with our hotel for Blue Orchid to deliver a flower for my hair on our wedding day. I wasn't very specific other than to request a white flower. As the day was nearing, though, I was starting to wonder about all the little details of our special day. (I hope I'm not the only bride that goes through this?!). I wanted to make sure I knew what flower I was getting for my hair (and to see if I missed out on the opportunity to put in an order for a bouquet). My husband and I drove over to Blue Orchid, assuming we could peruse the flower shop. Blue Orchid is tucked away in a lovely, tropical neighborhood. They have a full operation going there and busy, understandably. It's more of a flower workshop. The florists probably felt my bridal nerves upon our arrival. They were welcoming and let me take a look at all of their flowers. The one, white flower for my hair turned into three brilliant, green orchids when I saw them, of course. And all of their fresh beautiful flowers, three in the plum and pink color family stood out in particular to me. I asked if it was possible to create a small bouquet with them, not expecting it would be made because it was so last minute. It was created on the spot for me as the florist listened to what I wanted. I highly recommend putting in pre-orders and not doing what I did. They are fully booked and busy. Blue Orchid was gracious enough to make it happen. We tipped them double the cost to show our appreciation of their last minute accommodations for our special day. Blue Orchid is wonderful.
They were super easy to order from and exceptionally high quality. When the makeup artist saw the ti maile with orchids wrapped in it for the groom, she gasped and said it was the best she had ever seen in her two decades of doing weddings. "They didn't skimp" were her words. The leis lasted for days after and were beautiful even when they dried out. I wish I could get these back on the mainland!
Arlene and her team absolutely saved the day for my beach wedding! When our other florist fell through last minute, I came to Blue Orchid in a panic and they dropped everything to help create the most perfect bouquet! Their team is incredibly talented, fun and genuine. They were an absolute treat to work with and I would 100/10 recommend them to anyone looking for floral arrangements, big or small. They have a vast arrangement of flowers and can produce any look you are going for. Very grateful that I found this florist and thank you to the team for creating special moments on our wedding day
My daughter was in Kauai this week and celebrated her birthday on the 10th. I wanted to surprise her with flowers and thought a lei would be perfect. She could wear it out for her birthday dinner. I called Blue Orchid and they created a beautiful lei and delivered it to the hotel. My daughter enjoyed a special surprise so far from home. . Thank you, Blue Orchid!
I wish I could give Blue Orchid 10 stars. Arlene is an angel on Earth, and her and her beautiful staff were so kind when I needed an elopement bouquet. But don't do what I did! Schedule in advance because it is SO worth it. She knew exactly what I wanted and even included very special flowers. I may have cried because I couldn't take the bouquet back to the mainland, but I'm grateful I could enjoy them while I was there.

I was in a serious bind and she saved the day. I was refered to Blue Orchid from another florist and I am so grateful! I had picked up a wedding cake I had ordered and it looked like a birthday cake for a 12 year old from the grocery store. I needed flowers fast. Of course Blue Orchid was booked solid but she was willing to sell me some loose flowers but it was close to closing and I had to hurry. My wedding was the next day. I raced in and she whipped through her shop and pulled the key ingrediants to send me on my way. She saved my entire wedding! read more

Contacted her a couple weeks in advance about a haku(Hawaiian head lei). Described to her what I was looking for. It helped that they had some different haku pics online to help with the visuals. It's located out of her house in a residential neighborhood. She did the most beautiful job! Exactly what I was looking for!!! Just gorgeous work!! We ordered 23 different leis, a few bouquets, a hair piece and a bag of petals for our wedding ceremony. Blue Orchid knocked it out of the park! We were so happy with the product, it made our wedding day so unique and special and everyone looked wonderful in their leis. Couldn't recommend more! read more

My mom and dad were staying at the Lawai Beach Resort in Poipu last week. It was mom's birthday and I wanted to get her a lei to be delivered. I wanted to surprise her. I looked up flower shops on Yelp nearby the resort. There was a list of 4 or 5, so I read the reviews and looked at pictures. The Blue Orchid got great reviews (mostly for weddings) and got 5-stars, so I called to see if my small request could be granted. Well, a sweet woman named Arlene helped me choose a wonderfully smelling lei and knew exactly where the resort was (of course she did, it's a tiny town! lol - But nevertheless ...) . This was for a great price too, $15 for the lei itself and $10 to deliver. Now all I had to do is wait and hope Arlene got my order right, it got to the resort on time and finally, got delivered to the correct room. I crossed my fingers, there was nothing else for me to do but wait. Next day (approx 10am Hawaii time) . . . I got a call from mom all excited about this BEAUTIFUL surprise she had just received! She told me ALL about it - it totally made her day. She then was able to wear it out to dinner that night. (pictures attached) Thank you Arlene, for doing such a beautiful job and making me look good! Hahaha. I'll be sure to call next year when they go back! Wanted to send my mom flowers for Valentine's Day and I opted to contact a local florist instead of going through FTD or one of those other online flower shops. And I am so glad I did. I called Arlene and explained what my budget was and that my mom's favorite color is yellow. And honestly I didn't know what kind of arrangement to expect. My mom sent me pictures and it really is one of the most beautiful arrangements I have seen. It made my mom cry! I am soooo happy that I chose to contact Blue Orchid!! read more

I absolutely love this business! I ordered a haku lei for my maternity photos, and she made it perfectly. Not only that, but my flight was late coming into Kauai, and she was so sweet about waiting for me to pick it up. Perfect quality product, but even nicer people! It was also fairly priced. read more

Joy is amazing! Before the wedding Joy let me know the flowers I had chosen were not made available to her from the supplier...so what did she do? She took a difficult situation and made it better! She provided me with flowers, some, I think from her own garden, and made the most beautiful bouquet and haku. In addition I had not been clear about the grooms lei and within the hour, they made the adjustment and delivered it to the hotel instead of me having to return for it. Now that's what I call service!!!! Thanks to Joy and team for making our special day beautiful and easy! read more

I had emailed Blue Orchid Months in advance to get an idea on flower arrangements, and table decorations. Unfortunately I never heard back from them. I opted to just forgo flowers at my Wedding. Upon arriving on the Island, I needed flowers for my hair and MOH, and my local stylist recommended this place. I took the chance and called, they were able to arrange same day my niece's Haku, 2 flower clusters for our hair and gave me a mini bouquet for Free. I wished I could of had more flowers at my wedding, but the natural beauty of the beaches and Plantation Garden makes up for it. These ladies went above and beyond to get me what was needed for my Wedding. Highly recommend, but call to connect. They have extensive arrangements, beautiful fresh flowers and WONDERFUL ladies. Arlene and the ladies at Blue Orchid did an amazing job on my bouquet and my husbands boutonnière. They also provided us with two leis at the last minute that were beautiful as well. I couldn't have been more happy with the way my bouquet turned out. It was exactly what I envisioned. The flowers were fresh and everyone was very kind. Blue Orchid is amazing. I ordered my wedding bouquet, boutonneire, and corsages from Blue Orchid after searching for florists in Kauai. Not only did Blue Orchid provide great service from the very beginning, the flowers absolutely exceeded my expectations (I chose a cascading bouquet with orchids and roses). I normally don't take time to write reviews but I know it can be nerve-wracking to choose vendors when you are planning a destination wedding, so I hope this will assure other couples that Blue Orchid is a great choice for your wedding flowers. read more

I wanted a tropical bouquet of flowers delivered to our table at The Beach House for a romantic, sunset, birthday dinner for my spouse. Not only did Blue Orchid deliver on time as part of the table setting, it is the most exquisite floral arrangement. Well done and thank you! read more
I got my wedding bouquet and boutonniere here. The bouquet was very pretty, although not exactly like the picture online. The boutonniere was also very nice looking. My big problem was that I specifically asked to have plain green wrapping around the flowers.. rather than the big giant white bow and ribbon that is shown in the picture. 1. I was wearing an off white dress... not white 2. I think bows are hideous My officiant picked up our flowers and brought them to the ceremony site. When I arrived, what was waiting for me? A big bright white ribbon and huge ugly white bow around the stems. I pulled off the bow and unwrapped the ribbon revealing a little bit of green tape holding the stems together. That had to work. The bouquet alone was $150, and on a day when you want everything perfect, it was disappointing that they messed this up. read more

I went in to order flowers for a family photo shoot, including an adult lei, a child lei, a hair flower and the beautiful Haku pictured here. The photo doesn't do it justice! It is so stunning that after the photo shoot I wore it around town, and everywhere I went people stopped me to say how beautiful it is! Worth every penny! read more

Super easy phone ordering process and the arrangement is incredible! I live in CA and wanted to send my parents something for their anniversary. They were celebrating at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai. Blue Orchid said they delivered, no problem, only a $10 fee, plus they'll include a personal note. They suggested a tropical arrangement and explained it would last longer. I didn't provide any parameters in terms of flower selection, etc. - just let them do their thing, and it's perfect! Everything arrived on time and my parents were thrilled. Arlene and staff were AMAZING! I'm so glad I decided on Blue Orchid for my wedding bouquet. I called Blue Orchid from Florida not having a clue what I was doing and what to expect, but Arlene made the process very easy. Arlene asked me to email her photos of what I would like my bouquet to look like and I sent her a few photos I found on pinterest. The day I had scheduled to pick up my bouquet I was told they were not ready yet, but she promised to have them delivered to me within a few hours. I was a little nervous as I would not see the arrangement until right before getting married, but upon delivery my bouquet was everything I dreamed it would be! the arrangement was so colorful and included all types of beautiful tropical flowers and they smelled like heaven, but most importantly they looked amazing in my wedding photos. I highly recommend Blue Orchid, the ladies were so warm and welcoming and I'll definitely be back! read more

I called two days before I wanted a delivery made and they came through! Quick and easy process. Arlene listed what flowers she currently has and I told her I don't have anything specific in mind and just want a small birthday arrangement. My friend posted a photo and it came out so pretty!
