Thank You to Timory and Joel at "Aloha Ever After" for making our special day the most amazing experience ever! When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. We've returned once to revisit for our anniversary and to reflect on the memories. We hope to go again someday to renew our vows and you know my first call will be to Aloha Ever After! Thank You for a job well done! read more

If you plan on getting married on the beautiful island of Kauai, you MUST use Aloha Ever After. Joel was by far the most professional planner I spoke with. He was extremely communicative from the very beginning. He listened to exactly what my now husband and I were looking for. We wanted a private and intimate beach wedding. Unfortunately, less than ideal weather and crowds due to the holiday time, changed our location more than once. Joel calmly pivoted and provided us an absolutely PERFECT beach location. We didn't have to worry about anything. Aloha Ever After took care of everything! We loved Joel's officiating. Timory took beautiful pictures and Robert's video of our ceremony will be treasured forever!!! read more

I got married a few weeks ago and I went with Aloha Ever After and Joel did an amazing job. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. My wedding turned out perfect and Joel was a perfect officiant. I didn't really have to worry about a thing. I basically just showed up and everything was perfect from the music down to the photography. I can be a little bit high maintenance and Joel made the whole process easy and seriously stress free. I was worried about the pictures but they turned out amazing too. If your considering getting married in Kauai I would recommend working with aloha ever after. I read a million reviews before i hired them and they were also the most affordable. Thanks Joel! read more

Timory is a great photographer with a great eye for capturing precious moments. She gave great suggestions on where to take pictures in which we scouted out a couple days beforehand and picked one we liked which was Anini Beach. Thank you again and great job! read more

I had planned an inter island trip for my significant other to Kauai and wanted to use this opportunity to propose. I did some research to find a proposal consultant. Let me save you time now, Timory and Aloha Ever After was by far the most reasonably priced with the most worthwhile packages I could find. The communication throughout the planning stages was beyond stellar. This was very important to me, especially since I wasn't on Kauai to do the leg work. I had to put a lot of trust in Timory and she didn't disappoint. The weekend trip I chose was 13 March 2021... I'll give you a second to google that weekend. For those of you who aren't aware there was heavy flooding and landslides all over the island. I remember being extremely disappointed at the timing. But a landslide, road closures and a downpour of rain wasn't going to detour Timory for giving me the best possible experience. No sir, we had a plan A, B, C and D in case anyone of our ideas wouldn't work due to the weather. On the day of she set up a very intimate area overlooking the ocean, she even got us reservations at a great resturant. So how did it up end up you might ask? Well the sun melted through the clouds and the exact right time it was perfect, it's like she predicted the weather!! But that's what her years of experience brings to the table. She also sent me a video before hand of where I should exactly bring my future wife, it was dummy proof no way I could mess this up lol. She had picked the perfect location, and the whole experience was fantastic. The photography was also great, I love that she was able to capture the exact moment of the proposal as she blended in with those nearby, it was a candid moment that's once in a lifetime and she captured it. For the rest of the photo shoot I fell back on her expertise here again as she guided us through different poses. To sum up, I highly recommend Timory if you want the proposal that your fiancée will be happy with and will remember forever. You won't go wrong with with putting your trust in Aloha Ever After. Good luck! read more

We have nothing but good to say about our experience with Aloha Ever After. Joel made the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. My husband and I eloped and just wanted an intimate ceremony for the two of us. Joel gave plenty of recommendations for the location (we had never been to Kauai before) and was even willing to meet us early in the morning for the ceremony at sunrise. It was beautiful! Kalasara was our photographer and she did an amazing job. The photos were all stunning - which is impressive because sunrise lighting can be very tricky. I'm late in writing this but I need to say.. Aloha Ever After is... The.. BEST!!! I don't know where to begin. When I first booked, they were gave a lot, and I mean A LOT of information and recommendations for ceremony/reception locations, flowers, how to wear your hair, you name it! Their flower and wedding package exceptions are great and they're will to tailor it to your preference. I brought my own silk flowers but they were super flexible when I had to needed to order leis last minute. Planning an out of state was daunting at first but their wealth of options, information, and GREAT communication made it so easy. We got married on Hanalei Bay on a September Saturday morning and everyone remarked how wonderful Joel was as our officiant. He truly has the aloha spirit and led a serene and harmonious ceremony. Thanks to Aloha Ever After, my wedding day was more magical than I could have ever imagined. Mahalo Joel! Do not wait, book Aloha Ever After NOW! read more

Joel at Aloha Ever After was GREAT!!! Right from the start he had excellent communication and listened to exactly what we wanted and executed it to the "T". He even at the last minute per my request was able to get a bouquet for my lovely bride. Beautiful beach setting with an authentic Hawaiian wedding ceremony. Great passages and quotes during the ceremony. He was very meticulous with his photography afterwards and just made our wedding filled with very fond memories that will last forever. I highly recommend Aloha Ever After for any couple looking to get married with someone who truly cares about what it is he is doing. Thank you so much Joel, Mr. & Mrs. Woodland read more

Joel made this wedding as easy and low key as possible. For someone who hates being the center of attention, and having pictures taken, it was pretty painless. Joel was easy to communicate with, and made sure everything was perfect (with not a whole lot of direction from me). The ceremony was beautiful, the flowers were gorgeous, and what he said as officiant was so sweet. Kalasara did our pictures, and she got some really beautiful ones out of us. I highly recommend them. read more

Timory and Joel were absolutely incredible to work with. To say the elements challenged them would be an understatement. I got married 8/7/19 and used aloha ever after. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are getting married in Hawaii this is not only your best option (i thoroughly researched every single event coordinator and they were the highest rated and the best priced) but will also bring the aloha spirit to your wedding in a way i don't think is possible if you plan your own or go with another company. What i mean by this is Timory and Joel think of, plan, and coordinate EVERYTHING FOR YOU. All you have to do is show up. Literally. I wasn't stressed about a single detail and it far exceeded all of my expectations. The only anxiety i had was the morning of i had a thought cross my mind was this too easy? Is it possible that a wedding can actually be this stress free? The answer is YES! Everything was absolutely perfect. I am super picky about my hair and makeup so i was terrified that i wouldn't like who they sent over, what the lady sent over would do, or that she wouldnt show up or something. They coordinated everything for me and SHE WAS PHENOMENAL. My hair and makeup have never looked better. They also picked out an amazing florist. The flowers were perfect and exactly what i had in mind i don't know how they coordinated so perfectly what i wanted with the florist. The live ukulele was also so beautiful during the ceremony it was the perfect ambiance to the most beautiful beach wedding you have ever seen. I also loved the videographer they hired and the video ended up turning out so well. I really loved that i got to pick out what songs i wanted on it as now those songs will always be a reminder of our wedding. The ceremony was perfect for our tastes and was exactly what i had in mind. Joel did such a great job and has such a lovely speaking voice i was so thrilled with the entire ceremony. The length, what he said, the way he said it, everything was perfect and intimate and touching and i couldn't have done it better if i had planned everything meticulously myself. Timory is also an amazing photographer. I am really picky with pictures and often don't like the way i look in them. She made me feel so comfortable and i love the way she balanced getting all the special candid pictures i wanted with all the special posed pictures i wanted in the time we had without feeling rushed or like it was taking too long. This is also coming from someone who hates taking pictures and i really felt like i was able to be present in the moment and enjoy my special day while also get my picture taken which i have literally never been able to say. Timory is a gem and is such a joy to be around you will love having her at your wedding and the phenomenal pictures are just a bonus. We also got the coffee table photo album and it is truly a work of art. I LOVE it so much and it is not something i could have done myself or have gotten someone else to do a better job with. Timory actually being at your wedding and truly experiencing that joy with you comes out 100% in the way she puts your album together. You see that passion and love in the way she puts it together and it is truly beautiful. My husband and i were moved to tears when looking through it. I seriously love looking back on my wedding day and its all thanks to Timory and Joel. They have excellent taste and worked so hard to make sure that this was the best day of my life. They have excellent communication and will tailor everything to your specific tastes and make sure that everything is taken care of for you. All my friends talk about how stressed they were on their weddings and how they didn't get to enjoy the day and some of them talk about even crying out of being upset and stressed on their weddings and i simply just can't relate. The only tears i had were from being overwhelmed with love and happiness. Overall i can't recommend aloha weddings enough. If you want to actually enjoy your wedding with a true aloha spirit at extremely affordable prices you MUST book through aloha ever after. You will love working with Timory and Joel and your wedding day will be peaceful and stress free. read more

I attended a wedding that was planned by Aloha Ever After and was floored by how wonderful it was. The coordinator made a simple beach wedding seem glamorous and beautiful (and amazingly comfortable too.) As far as I could tell every detail was taken care of; flowers, music, bathrooms (important for an outdoor wedding), childcare and entertainment. Although I have no plans on getting married anytime in the near future, if I did and it was going to be on Kauai, I would definitely use Aloha Ever After. read more

If I could triple this rating, I would. We decided to elope in October- giving them 2 months to plan our wedding. Due to extenuating circumstances, I had very little time to do any planning and I left most of it up to them. It was perfect. I could not have imagined anything better- first, they were extremely responsive to my questions and my "oh, I changed my mind.. let's do this instead, or add this!". They took the time to get to know who we were- knowing we were hikers, they selected the perfect location for our wedding. Joel and Timory- work beautifully together.. Joel had a wonderfully calming and peaceful aura around him- and the ceremony was magical. His words, his presence, it was a wonderful Hawaiian ceremony... and Timory, our photographer (and so much more- she found the perfect location, helped me with my hair, setup all the photographs)- she knew just where to be to get the best photographs. She made us laugh and even helped take a quick video on my phone for my family (her idea!). They both exemplified the Aloha spirit.... and It was simply perfect in everyway. I can never thank them enough- for their guidance and support- the ceremony was more that what I dreamed of. Mahalo! read more

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Joel and aloha ever after. My wife and I returned to Kauai for our 25th anniversary. We wanted to renew our vows. Aloha ever after was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. I contacted them and everything was simple. He handled everything from vows to flower leis. We didn't know exactly what to expect, but Joel far exceeded anything we could have imagined. It was a touching ceremony that had real meaning. It had a wonderful Hawaiian feel to it. He took great pictures afterwards. He helped make this special and something we will look back on with very fond memories. We are so glad we used him for this special occasion. Took my girlfriend (now fiancé) to Kauai for vacation in December for a romantic getaway. Little did she know I had a proposal planned and was ready to make it a forever moment. Although it was slightly stressful just because I wanted things to go perfect and I spent months deflecting the idea that I would be popping the question it ended up being one of the happiest moments of my life. Joel put me in touch with Timory who were both an absolute pleasure to work with. Timory spent a good amount of time with me on the phone to get everything just right and went out of her way to get the perfect keepsakes for the love of my life to take home in remembrance of our grand adventure. Due to it being the raining season it was a little difficult to find a good spot for clear weather and a perfect sunset. We ended up having to reschedule due to a weather system coming in that disrupted our original plans. Timory again went out of her way to rearrange her schedule so that we could get this done. It ended up being the perfect proposal and I could not be happier with the beautiful setup they had waiting for us. 10/10 recommend. read more

Kimberli helped me plan my beautiful wedding in Kauai and it was perfect. We also planned the entire wedding via email, and it couldn't have gone better. The hair and makeup artist that they had booked for me was amazing, and our photographer was not Timory but she was great as well. There were a few things that kept me from giving Aloha Ever After 5 stars - when I sent in the final amount 30 days prior to the wedding, it was a few days before they had confirmed receipt of the payment (Kimberli explained afterwards that she was off and didn't have wireless access), but I did wish that somebody could have confirmed receipt of the payment. We were also hoping to have a back up plan in place, just in case of rain (the forecast called for rain all week). Normally, it woudln't have been a big deal, but because we had to drive about 20 minutes through unpaved road to get to our beach, I wasn't sure what would happen if it did rain - which thankfully it poured the night before but was beautiful on our wedding day. Overall, I like the packages offered by Aloha Ever After and I liked the fact that you could take away or add anything you wanted from their a la carte menu. Thank you so much Kimberli! read more
