Not only did the underside begin failing, but the top of the cover is also deteriorating and crumbling. I submitted photos expecting warranty support and was told the damage was caused by chemicals, despite no testing being done that I am aware of. Instead of honoring the warranty, I was offered a replacement for an additional $450 out of pocket. What made the experience even worse was the customer service interaction. The person I was communicating with came across as extremely condescending and responded with comments implying I "obviously hadn't read" an article they had already sent me, rather than professionally addressing my concerns and questions. As a customer, I wasn't looking for an argument -- I was looking for a company to stand behind the product they sold and the warranty they advertised. Instead, I felt dismissed and blamed.
