In recent months my pool doesn't look clean and my filter hasn't been cleaned in months. When I called the owner I got a text back saying text me. I'm not your friend I am a customer and deserve a call back. I texted him telling him my issue and he said it would be fixed. The pool guy came last Wednesday and the same day my filter was disgusting in my skimmer was never cleaned. My pool was green after being serviced. I texted the owner again asking for him to call me as soon as possible. He texted me back he was in a pool he would call me as soon as possible. That was almost a week ago. I will be looking for another pool service.

Found a leak in the main drain and used forced air and a listening device to pinpoint the location of the leak. They dug down and found the pvp pipe/joint that was leaking water. My experience with Superb Pools was an absolute nightmare. My pool was left in worst condition than…read morethey found it in. Avoid at all costs!! We moved into a new home that had a saltwater pool and wanted some work done, as well as find a company for regular cleanings. We wanted to have the pool light replaced, as well as have the tiles acid washed and the surrounding brick pavers cleaned. I was given a quote on Tuesday, and told that if I could approve and pay deposit by Wednesday, the work could be completed that week. We went ahead and approved the quote, as well as paid the 50% deposit. Thursday morning the work began on schedule and things appeared to be going well. We were told the pool needed to be drained below the light, but they drained the entire pool instead. It was initially not a big deal, but when they called and asked us to approve additional work since the pool was already drained, I should have realized then how this company does business. Thursday evening I received a text saying the pool was being filled overnight, and to give them an update in the morning so they could come back and finish up. I sent a text with a picture around 9:00 am. By about 1:00 pm when I had not received any response, I called and texted again. No response again. Finally someone responded and said they would be there by 3:00 pm. I received a call at 3:00 pm stating they were picking up the sealant and on their way. Someone arrived around 3:45 pm and put several bags of salt and chemicals into our pool. I could immediately tell that it was WAY too much salt, as it created a rim around the entire pool. The individual left about 10 minutes later with our pool looking absolutely terrible... lots of dirt and debris, a salty rim formed all around the pool, and the machine beeping saying there was way too much salt. I assumed they were coming back and would not leave their customers' pool like this over the weekend. Especially when they said the work would be done this week! After about an hour, I reached out with pictures and videos asking when this was going to be corrected. I sent numerous texts, phone calls, and emails over a two hour period. Finally someone responded and told me that this was completely normal and that the salty rim would be filtered out, and that the rest of the work would be done the following week! Keep in mind the machine was telling me our pool had twice the safe limit. I'm not sure whether they just do not know how to service a saltwater pool, or if they are just that negligent, but this company should not be trusted in your home. They also had the audacity to send me a bill for work that I had to hire another company to come out and fix/ complete. Our new company was APPALLED at the condition our pool was left in and has encouraged us to report them to the State. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

I called Jack, the owner of Aquatechnics Pool and Spa to fix a pool vac that was not working well…read more He had done work on my pool years ago so I thought I could still trust his business. He had come to me by a recommendation from Pinch n Penny pool store. Jack did not show up but he sent a worker over to look at the problem. He fixed the problem but in the process created another when he broke the cover to my main drain by blowing compressed air into the pipe to "clear any debris" there was not anything stuck in the line and the only thing he managed to do was blow off my cover from the inside. I honestly was not adamant that he fix it on the spot since my concern was the vac. This was a mistake I realized because after he took my money he said: "I'll put my number on the invoice and I'll come back if you need me to put the cover back on. If you need me to just call me later in the week." and he was off with my money. I soon realized that the vac was getting stuck in the open drain now that he had broken the cover off. I texted him and he said he'd be out later in the week and never arrived, then he ignored my next 3 text messages over a few days. After calling a few times as well I called Jack again and explained the issue and lack of communication. He said in a text that "he" meaning Jack, would be over to fix it in a day or two. Two days later the same worker shows up with a very hostile and unprofessional attitude. This guy showed up on my property and starts harassing me about calling his boss. Then he starts yelling and claims that I was supposed to have bought a new cover myself. So I confronted him about the fact that he broke the cover in the first place and he lied on the spot of course and claimed that he didn't break it even though I saw it happen. I will not have some service working speaking to me like that in my house and I told him to "go and just get the hell out of here, and not to ever come back on my property." When I messaged Jack at the owner his only reply was "Have a Nice Day." I texted him a few more times and he will not reply. No wonder his workers behave the way they do. They learned it from daddy.

I call him Dr. Pool. Jim is obsessed with the science of finding and fixing pool leaks. Of course like the other three repair attempts I've had he found the "usual suspects" right away and fixed them. His price was reasonable and I paid him but then within a week it seemed like the pool was still leaking. So I called the doctor and over the next 4 weeks I saw the passion and determination that Jim has for what he does as "unusual suspects" started to appear that I had no idea about.
