I explained that my pool man hasn't been coming by and I was in the process of shocking my pool. I was hoping my pool will be ready before this weekend. I'm throwing my youngest son a birthday pool party Saturday. Without hesitation he said "shoot me your address and I'll come by to take a look." (Eventhough it was his day off) Not only is he knowledgeable about the pool but you can tell he's kind, humble, honest and a great teacher. He took his time to go over what's the next steps to getting the pool ready for Saturday/ready for summer. He taught me about the air bleed sock for DE filters and manifold. I paid Pinnacle Tubs Inc. $160 to drain and winterize my hot tub, and I ended up having to finish the job myself. After they left, about 25-30 gallons of water was still sitting in the footwell and seats. That's exactly what winterizing is supposed to prevent. Water left in a hot tub over the winter can freeze and damage the plumbing, jets, and equipment, so this isn't a minor oversight. It defeats the whole purpose of the service. I had to pull out my own wet vac and remove all 25-30 gallons myself. For $160, I expected a thorough, professional job, not a rushed one that left me doing the work I paid them for. I would not recommend Pinnacle Tubs Inc. to anyone who wants their hot tub properly cared for. Save your money and hire someone who takes the job seriously, or just do it yourself. I have attached photos of the half done horrible job this subpar company performed. I will not be returning to this unprofessional company ever again, and I encourage anyone to do the same.
