This company sent out service people who broke my filter basket cover and did not report the damage to anyone. After reviewing video footage, I was able to capture them breaking the cover and trying to hide the damage. However, the owner replaced the broken cover after I sent him the video. A few months later the owner cancelled my contract the day they were supposed to come out to service my pool because I complain about the calcium buildup on the walls of my pool. For $295 per month, I should not have buildup if you are servicing my pool every week! Goodbye, good riddens! I would not recommend this company! read more

I have been using The Pool Boys for several years and have always had great service from them. They annually close my pool (I open myself) and have done repair work for me as well. They're knowledgeable, honest, and professional. They charge a fair price... not cheap or expensive. I've been very satisfied with their service and will continue using them. read more

We have used the Pool Boys every single year for the last 10 years for a wide variety of pool needs. They are fantastic at taking the time to teach you how to care for your own pool. We had never owned a pool before & had many many questions when we first started with them. They are very responsive to your phone calls & I have never had a problem reaching them. They keep me up to date if there are delays but most of the time they are able to get to us sooner than expected. With that said, if you are needing assistance opening your pool, you have to remember that EVERYONE wants their pool open pretty much the same week as soon as it gets warm. Imagine trying to get to hundreds of customers in that short time frame! Have patience & do what you can to make their job a little easier when they do come & prevent them from having to come back by having the water level up to operational before calling them. They are going to take the people who are ready first!! They can not sit around & wait 8 hours for your pool to fill up to lab operational level & I'm sure they really want to prevent making two stops to the same house on the same day if at all preventable.. They are very knowledgeable, professional, & kind. Because I'm a consistent customer, many times they have walked me through trouble shooting techniques right over the phone. Mary has ordered specialized parts for us that we could not find elsewhere & Chris is always great at trouble shooting issues & repairs! The whole team is great to work with & I would highly recommend them. Services we have used the Pool Boys for on our above ground pool over the past 10 years: opening, cover removal, adding chemicals, turning our nasty green pool back to blue, brushing, cleaning, instillation of chlorinator, sand filter replacement, pump maintenance, chlorinator repairs & replacement, removal of our center drain, complicated vinyl pool liner replacement (our deck used to sit over the top of our pool) including removal of a bunch of sand & leveling etc, , replumbing our pool system to add a chlorinator,, & general pool education to name a few off the top of my head. read more

I'm not sure how they expect to run a business when you make an appointment and they come out after dark,don't bring the filter you ordered. I was told the water wasn't high enough and they would be back the next day. The next day comes and, NOTHING!!! It's been over a week and no phone call, nothing... I echo the other review. This company was supposed to install a pool heater and open our pool. That was 4 weeks ago. Our pool is still not open and the only time we saw them in regards to the heater was 8:30 pm weeks after the heater was to be installed to drop off the heater. They lie to get your business, never follow through, and are rude when you question their antics. Do NOT hire them for anything. Save yourself time. read more
