First timer and being reserved with my review. This place is definitely fun and nice. However, the music is just ok and the drinks were a bit on the pricey side running around a $22 dollar price point. Also, there are no food options except for pizza...so eat beforehand Lol. Other than this, the vibe is cool and the atmosphere is nice. We enjoyed a great time celebrating a good friend's birthday and the service was great. We opted for the VIP service and section. Although another price gouge, it served its purpose well. Definitely, a one and done kind of spot in my y opinion. went to an event on 31 August, 2025, event was good, a lot of people and fun, but the bar was very undermanned and took me over 1 hour to get a drink, event was 10pm to 3am and waiting that long for one round of drinks is completely unacceptable. absolutely ruined my night and will not be back again. please get more bartenders especially for a busy night when you can make more money as a business. 1/10 don't recommen until you hire more people. read more

This pool used to be free for guests. Not happy about the charge. Also, it used to be an oasis with 4-5 hot tubs. Now there are TVs everywhere and stuff everywhere like bean bag toss and speakers. It really took away from the classy pool feel. Plus you need to reserve a lot of the couches to sit on when you try to go to the pool. Came here last night and was surprised how many people were inside. My friends and I were staying at Harrahs so we got free passes to go in. We went in around 10, got stamped, and came back after we got ready. I haven't been here in years and forgot how huge it is. They even have table games inside now ie poker, blackjack, etc. the DJ was good for the most part but some of the song transitions weren't great. The dress code inside varied - there were some people who were super casual, even wearing sneakers, flats, sandals and some people who looked ready to go out for New Years Eve! We had a ton of space so never felt too crowded or worried about people pushing into you. Only thing I didn't like was the intense smell of chlorine but I guess that's expected for a place with a huge pool in the middle of the club. read more

With my most recent visit figured it was time for an update .. I ended up in AC last minute for the memorial weekend. The pool was having a DJ Boris pool party figured why not since I was in town. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than getting drunk & dancing all Afternoon lolll Drinks We had some Leinenkugels summer ale , nice & refreshing this was good. Food I had the Asian chicken wrap very good nice & light w some chips, my company had the Chicken fingers good chicken fingers nice taste. Once DJ Boris came on the party really got started it was a fun day with good music & plenty of good vibes at the pool. This is my 2nd time here and it's DRAMA again! The first time someone took a #2 in the pool and they had to shut the pool down and did NOT offer any refunds for admission and now this time after giving them another shot the pool girl cocktail waitress KEPT a tip out of my friend's cash payment for her cocktail and then neglected to check on us for about an HOUR and didn't return my credit card causing me to now have to drive alllllll the way back for my card! Have been here 2 more times since my last review, and I will admit I enjoyed myself. Most recently was their Halloween costume party which was a Blast! The bartenders were generous with the liquor in the drinks and the shots. DJ was playing good music and everyone was having a good time. read more

Came here for a yelp event. The Pool After Dark club party at Harrah's is in their Pool greenhouse. Always at a warm temperature it's a great venue as i like the ambiance of palm trees, swanky large pool, DJ booth and stage. As we had VIP entrance we didn't have to wait on line but i could see the line stretching down Harrah's walkway and it's quite pricey to get in. They have a nice upstairs gaming area too for gaming or to look down at the dance floor for people watching and a large lounge area in the back for events. Awful DJ that night that had no clue on how to get a dance floor going. Besides the occasional good songs to dance to this place was great for people watching. Watching the Jersey shore folks strut their drunken selves it was better than watching MTV Jersey shore. Topped it off at the end of the night with a drunken "situation" with his beer muscles throwing down with another club goer before 8 security folks took a beatdown to him. It isn't Jersey till a spray tanned "gorilla" as snooki would say throws down. Felt like i was at "Karma" haha. I have to say the Go Go dancers were slammin' though. read more

Security goes to check me but before I'm allowed in, the manager (I'm assuming) says l cant go in because of my shirt. There's nothing on the website indicating what l have on is not allowed. So you mean to tell me, you are willing to let 50 bucks go (2 people) bc l have a little profanity on my shirt? Yeah. Not cool. THEN your website CLEARLY states NO white tees, no JEANS, no hoodies, tims etc. l literally just watch TEN GUYS walk in with this EXACT attire. I don't know if l'm pissed, confused or appalled. The Pool @ Harrah's is the main draw for many partying it up in AC, with a large glitzy pool it's main centerpiece. Space is huge and sprawling, where the atrium is like a domed enclosure over a forest of palm trees and sea of people. Plenty of daybeds, cabanas, and bungalows for rent, which also come with bottle service. You can imagine their price tag though, think $2-4k. The Pool After Dark is one massive pool party that runs into the twilight hours, where the music and lights are on point. But crowd control was horrible, as the line to get in was 70 people deep, with just one person overseeing entry and stamping! The cover was also $35, which the promoter had said would be free, but 'tis the nightlife game. As is usual, the crowd also depends on the celebrity DJ/performer every weekend. Bow Wow happened to be the performer the weekend we went. There was still plenty of room for people to move around, as the space is massive and multi-level, so you're not on top of each other. We had to make a quick exit back to our hotel room at Harbor Tower, which was an annoying 10 minute walk through the entire casino and lobby of Harrah's, but the bouncers were nice when we came back and just showed our stamped hands and went our way. So come earlier in the evening to get your hand stamped, go back to your room/get ready/pregame, and come back later in the evening for reentry without the massive wait! Once the nightclub/pool party lets out, there are spots directly across from the entrance still open, like the pizza joint that's packed with partygoers with the same idea of making a late-night pizza run. So after 3 times going to this club, I can honestly say; I hate it. Each time different times of the year, different occasions. The cons: It's highly expensive. There IS NO 10.00 night, the entrance fee can range from 25-55 dollars PP easily, so honestly don't bother calling and asking like I did. I even asked about the price and the cashier said "because so many people are here, we raised the price" They're only open 3 days a week, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. THEY DO NOT HONOR THE DRESS CODE. It's whatever they want to allow that night. Their DJ's all play hipster fist pump music, All the time. the DJ last night kept remixing the same songs and every 10 minutes he would scream "who's birthday is it? Who's out here tonight." Or talk though the only few hit songs he did play. The drinks are EXPENSIVE. Expect to pay 20-60 easily for a drink, plane and simple. It's always crowded. No matter when you go, it's always crazy, hot, no where to sit so if you're a girl, wear comfortable shoes. The tables and chairs are for VIP (150-200 depending on the package you want) The parking price is NOT advertised so ima tell you now it's 25.00 for valet and 15.00 to park it yourself and walk about 3 blocks through the casino to get to the club. The pros: if you have 200.00 to burn through that night, definitely go. If you like fist pump music go, if you and your friends wanna act crazy and pay 7.00 for a slice of pizza after, totally go, but if not, find another club. I'm on the hunt for one now. read more

Me and 5 friends went here on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday. We paid the cover charge for all of us. They then checked our ID's. To my surprise, my license expired 4 days ago. They refused to let me in. I asked for my money back and they responded "No". They said I could go online to renew my license but that they wouldn't except the email confirmation as ID, that it had to be a printed version (which makes zero sense). Even police will accept electronic copies of anything. Furthermore, where at the pool would I even have access to a printer? I said I'm not going to allow you people to rob me and 1 of the security guards told another guard to "Get him outta here". I said I'll happily leave once you give me back my money and suggested to him to call the police. He then tries to explain that they go through a 3rd party company for their cover charges, which is fine but perhaps you should check ID's before charging people to begin with. The charge had to be disputed with my bank. The treatment I received was disrespectful and uncalled for. I will NEVER return and would even consider avoiding Harrah's all together since they allow treatment like this to begin with in their Casino. There was a $20 cover, and for the first time in my life (when there wasn't live music), I think it was worth the price of admission. Just for the people-watching. The ENORMOUS bottom floor is comprised mostly of the pool, which is surrounded by several hot tubs and cabana beds. There is more than enough room for the most obnoxious guys in the room to walk around and harass women for HOURS and never see the same girls twice. (No, I wouldn't say I was here WITH them. We just happened to arrive at the same time. And take a number of shots together. And be in each others' weddings.) After an hour or so, if you're me, you're going to get slightly bored with Jersey's version of Animal Planet, and want to sit down. The upstairs area has more seating, but even though it's a Saturday night, and nearly every seat is vacant, an attendant will still come around and tell you that the seats are reserved for people with bottle service who don't actually exist. But at least he'll be nice about it. You'll finally find a place to sit outside on the GIGANTIC patio, which will be prime spectator spots for the dance party. Things That Might Happen: 1. Some dude might somehow remove his underwear and place it on the head of a girl he just met. And she'll love it. 2. A friend you haven't seen in three years might cartwheel into the dance circle sporting a (new) mustache, even though he's not a part of your bachelor party and just happens to be in AC. 3. A guy you absolutely wouldn't associate with might give a girl a lapdance, showing off what he must have learned earlier that evening at Bare Exposure, but you can't be sure because you would never go to Bare Exposure. In fact, you're not even sure what Bare Exposure is, you just overheard someone talking about it. Probably a photography shop of some kind. The pool is a nice place to party but it takes a while to get into compared to other clubs, and the cobblestone type of flooring can be annoying to walk on. The drinks are good though and the entertainment they get is as good as all the other hotel clubs in AC. read more

After Dark - key words here. The pool during the daytime is a mild whirlwind of fun. The glass, dome ceiling provides plenty of sunlight, almost giving the effect and feel of an outdoor pool. But alas, it's still an indoor pool and not all of the beautiful flora in the world can change that. However at night...well, you know what they say about who comes out at night. The freaks. It gets a little crazy here at night, but if you embrace your inner Jersey Shore cast member you will shine bright like a diamond. If you're a guy, do a few more push-ups and make sure to wear your best smedium T-shirt. Pool party anyone? Admission was free (we all stayed at Harrah's = comped admission) and we arrived at The Pool around midnight. You would think that the acoustics would be pretty awful considering it's an enclosed dome but the sound system was quite good. The drinks in this place were strong. STRONG. And I don't think it was just because we were tipping heavily. Long cocktail/shot pours make us happy so needless to say, our bartenders kept us pretty happy. The bouncers keep a close eye to ensure that no one falls into the pool, but two women decided to take it upon themselves to take a dip. They were floating in rafts but no one seemed to care (they were wearing long t-shirts and frumpy shorts...that was probably why no one cared). Whatever you do, do not attempt to take a picture of the platform dancers. I saw the bouncers flip out on a few guys who had their iPhones in position, ready for an action shot. Gotta admit the Pool After Dark is off the hook as an indoor botanical atrium that gets transformed into a Jersey Shore wannabe dance party at night. Yeah buddy! Light show, gaggles of fake tanned Ronnie and Pauly D and Snooki imitators, over priced beer and cocktails, tatted up gogo dancer chicks, all being served up to pumping beats being mixed badly by local DJ's or on occasion more high profile talent that knows how to get a crowd dancing. Still, this is a pretty cool spot to party at. This stuff you see here is like something out of Jersey Shore. Guys who think they are The Situation throwing girls into the pool. Groups of bachelorette parties fending off the advances of the guidos who hover close by. The hot mess of a show here when the booze kicks in is classic people watching. It's like a sport! If you are willing to shell out $25-50 for admission, and wait on long lines for more popular DJ nights, or when they have a celebrity host/talent, then this place is a cool spot to get your drank on and beat up the beat! If you are staying at Harrah's you do get comped admission, and look around for staff handing out passes by the main lobby to get in free before 11pm. The pool after dark (henceforth known as PAD) is the largest collection of disastrously drunk, booty dropping, first pumping, hair didding shore and not-so-shore peeps...i've ever had the privilege of witnessing exist in one place. PAD in numbers: 30.....gallons of gel used for those guys to keep their tips frosty and mohawks n' spikes defying gravity... 30.....dollars I should have paid to get in. Maybe 40? 0.......dollars paid to get in thanks to YELP! 100...or so people cut thanks to that awesome list I was on.. 1.......person arrested, putting up a pretty big fight. 1.......friend sticking up for the arrested person, yelling at people to put their phones away 12.....people videotaping that very incident despite the frantic friend 400...songs played in two hours, maybe more. 1......girl booty dropping so hard I thought she was definitely going to fall in the pool. I was, in fact, rooting pretty hard for it. 1......guy trying to hit on a girl by chasing her around yelling "YO! YO! YOU! YO!" She, thankfully, did not respond to such a romantic attempt. 20+...fake tans noticeable in the dark 2......WTF tans 150...total minutes spent dancing and observing 0......dollars spent on drinks. They were small and I can only imagine how much they were charging. Left the club, hit up the penny slots and ordered drinks on the machine. Drank a few and lost $20. Well, well worth it. The PAD is...unique. I'm no mega-clubber, but i'd be hard pressed to pass up another invite. Next time, lets roll bottle service. Your treat. read more

So I really had a hard time between deciding if this was a 3 or 4, I ended up at 4 and here are the reasons why: Pros: 1. The MOST GORGEOUS POOL I have ever been too! I mean, just the fact that this is a glass dome is incredible. I was here one day as it was snowing outside and I was laying inside in a bikini in 80 degree weather. 2. The ambiance is very sexy. There are cabanas, Jacuzzis, girls with lit up hoola hoops, and good looking people all around (I mean only hot people are happy wearing bathing suits in the winter). Although the ambiance is chill, this is by no means a family pool, so leave the kiddies home. 3. Very attentive waitstaff, super friendly and not pushy at all. 4. You can order decently priced food in there to help tomorrow's hangover. 5. The ambiance during the day is super chill, not over crowded either. And free. We came here for my bachelorette party and snagged a cabana AND jacuzzi for free as well. Cons: 1. $20 and lines down the block for the pool after dark is kind of crazy. 2. Drinks are watered down and overpriced (make sure to pregame) 3. It gets mighty crowded early on in the evening. Overall, this is regular club with amazing ambiance, every place in AC has about a $20 cover, overpriced drinks and drunk guys with spikey hair. The playlist is mainly top 40s, I think it is a must-do for a trip to AC at least once and if you are having a birthday or bachelorette party then a DEFINITE MUST DO for all the free drinks you will get. read more

I came here 2 years ago for my friend's 22nd birthday with a group of my friends, and honestly we had a blast. We got stamped early and then went back to our room to pregame a little more. The place is really pretty and feels like you're stepping into a rain forest that happens to have a swimming pool which you can't swim in at night while it's a club (for obvious reasons) but you can dip your feet in it! They played great music and the atmosphere was overall amazing. The Pool is a little played out since everyone and their moms come here, BUT you're guaranteed to have a great time as long as you're also staying at Harrahs. Suggestion: Drink up in your room and if you really want to drink at the club, do that but don't go all out. Also, come with a group of people. The more people, the more fun it is. read more

Last night my friend convinced me to come out to AC to celebrate the end of the semester with him. The Pool was easy enough to find; just follow the crowds of drunk, obnoxious Jersey shore types to the back of Harrah's. Then you wait in line; they were so busy, the line barely moved. And I had the pleasure of having 3 drunken Snookie wannabees behind me, screaming and voicing their displeasure about waiting in line. After 20 or so minutes in line, I ended up realizing I didn't want to pay to get inside and deal with these people further, so I stepped out of line and started to walk out. That's when some chick in the hallway walked right into me and walked away without so much as an apology. If that's the type of crowd you want to deal with, be my guest. This club is for the drunk and rachet and definitely not for the faint of heart! read more

Love Love LOVE this place. If you are not on the guestlist, make friends with the girl who is sitting at the table, ask her how you can get in for next time because you didn't know you can sign up for it earlier online. If you are lucky like me she'll slip you a few guest passes and you'll get in for free. The line is faster than you think, get there a little early and even though its not that packed once you enter early it gets packed fast! The decor and design is beautiful, the only negative is you have to walk up the stairs to use the bathroom, but since they designed it with many stalls, I never had to wait on line. The outdoor patio upstairs is great if you want a place to sit and have a drink and smoke. The pool is gorgeous, once in a while you'll have that random drunk girl dive in with her clothes on, while her boyfriend is yelling at her to get the f*^& out of the water because he's embarrassed. And I guess I came on a good night with $5 all night Bacardi mixers..I felt like a baller when I said to my family and friends "Don't worry I got this round." hah And dress pretty, you'll have people buying you Patron shots all night! My friends and I had a blast as well we went crazy started grabbing everyones nipples and chest and screaming like we were Asian groupies, I think we made some of their nights because some of their friends were high fiving them saying that they were the man! aww lol read more

I purchased tickets on eventbrite for a pool party here and it was pretty cool. The pool transforms into a nightclub at night, so it was interesting to see people in their swimsuits on the dance floor. One thing that did get annoying was the the floor was constantly wet from people in and out the pool. There's a rooftop deck area for people to hang out on as well. read more

Personally, I think the pool itself should have a separate yelp business page from this since they're basically two different things minus being the same venue. The purposes are different from one another. Now for Pool After Dark... Guidos and Guidettes. I'm pretty sure I have never seen as many of the over baked guidos I saw here ever in my life. They had on way too much Old Spice Swagger too. They probably dumped the whole bottle on them with how much cologne and fragrant body wash I smelled. This was Jersey Shore on steroids!!!! I'm came here for Yelp Winter break so I was spared the $30 cover entree fee. Thank goodness. I've never heard of paying this much to get into a club, and this wasn't even a real club! It was a pool.... No one really used the pool except this one socially awkward guy who cane up to me asked me to join him. Um, no thank you. I might be THAT person usually, but I was letting him be 'that person' that evening. Drinks are so overpriced. You pay $12 for a vodka cranberry in an extremely small cup with more cranberry than vodka. Deluded with ice and juice isn't a real drink to me. The music was bumping with a good mix of early 2000s to now music. I enjoyed the variety and the DJ was getting down with it too. Overall 3.25 experience. I don't think I'll ever come across a club in Atlantic City that I like. The $30 covers make that notion hurt even more. Well, there was murmur a few years back...I can't remember if I liked that spot or not. With that being said, I probably did. First, what I DID like was the atrium. Not to be confused with "the environment". The environment I didn't really care for too much. It was way too crowded with the pool at the edge of your heels. The music was alright and the tequila shot I had tasted pretty good. But there was nowhere to really dance without people cutting through to get to God knows where. A lot of people were just sitting around and I felt like I was at a bus stop. At one point I left to get cheesecake. I mean, air. I left to get air. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I went...I've never been to the infamous Pool After Dark despite it being a stones throw away from where I was standing sometimes. But it just wasn't my type of club. I like being able to dance without worrying about drowning. read more

In my personal opinion, this place is off the hook and also one of the best clubs to go to while in Atlantic City! I had my first experience here during my last trip and I already can't wait to return! The usual for similar clubs in the area is pricy drinks a drop of liquor and rude bartenders. However, it was different here. The Bartending staff was very nice and made nice strong drinks which is rare to find in places similar to this. An extremely fun, big and exciting atmosphere. I think it's really awesome that one can choose to show up in clubbing attire or your bathing suit. Yes you can even swim at night in their big pool or hot tubs! What is even cooler is the fact they have a loft upstairs that gives you a nice visual of the entire place. It also has an outside smoking deck along with a designated gambling area. I personally didn't play here but my friends did and had a good time. All and all, a nice spot to dance the night away, have a few cocktails and take some great pictures! The only negative point I found was faux of us showed up at 3am and there was a $30 charge to get in here. However, we were never told that if we were guests at the hotel we get in for free (which we all were). So we wound up paying the charge. They probably should have told us, however, I decided to keep the five star rating due to the fact those at the front door were very nice and the staff inside was also great along with having an epic night. And it is good to now know if I stay there it is free. Lesson learned and I will be back! read more

Something was going on with my friends ID when we went to enter. At first they weren't going to let him in because it was scanning as fake (def wasn't fake). The head of security at the front (Moody?) took the extra step to go to the back and make sure everything checked out. It probably wasn't scanning because it was a new ID. Either way, eventually they let him in. Security is very attentive. There was leaking from the roof onto our chair in our little VIP section and they immediately noticed us talking about it. GORGEOUS VENUE! The Pool is a cool place to party because it's a huge indoor pool that is transformed into a club at night. Palm trees, cabana tables, and high glass dome ceiling give it a fabulous tropical vibe. Feel free to take your shoes/clothes off and jump into the water! ...and that's about where the fun ends... Getting into the club is a bitch. Make sure you get here EARLY because the line usually wraps half way around the casino. They are super snobby with who gets in (Ladies- be hot. Gentlemen- be ballin.) Depending on what time you make it to the cashier, the cover is $30-$40. Eeps. Since there is a bigass pool in the middle of the club, there's no space for a real dance floor. People are constantly stepping in and out of the water so the floor is wet and can be slippery- especially if you're in heels. This pool party was the highlight of my trip to Atlantic City. I came here on a Wednesday night, and believe me when I say it was crowded. I was not really expecting a lot of people to show up (it was a cool, misty night), but I was wrong. It's free before 11pm, but we were entering at 11:04pm and ended up paying $10, not too bad. There were dancers, and only a few people actually swimming in the pool. Music was good.The DJ knew what he was doing, he played all of the latest songs. This place is always a good time. Although, always for me has only been twice. Neither time have I paid a cover, find someone handing out passes before 11, get stamped, then come back whenever you want later without waiting on the RIDIC line. The first time we went, it was expensive the drinks, this past weekend though, $5 aluminum bottle beers, um, that's cheaper then a night out in the city, gladly. We roamed around more. If I could give this place 6 stars...I would. I am in L O V E with the pool. To the people bitching about the line: simple solution...go early, (pre-cover) get stamped and go back in. Unless it's an event night, you shouldn't have an issue. I was here on TGE and I think we waited an extra half hour to get in. There's always promoters walking around with free admission cards too. To be blunt, it's juicy in here. There are a lot of guidos. Also a lot of bachelor/bachelorette parties rent the cabanas and hot tubs. Drinks aren't too bad, price-wise. On TGE, everything was $3/$4. Not bad for AC....at all!!! The music....oh the MUSIC. House, Trance, Techno, Progressive....everything I love. I am also always one of the chicks dancing in the shallow part of the pool. Yes, I am that girl. Oh. just because it's a pool, don't wear your swimsuit and/or jump in the pool. I've heard pregnancy can occur if you do that. The pool dancer girls are also pretty hot! There's quite a few bars, including one for when you're waiting in line. Though, it's stupid to get a drink here because you WILL lose your spot in line. Little known secret...in the summer, when it's boiling in there, go up to the rooftop smoker's terrace.
