CSM refuses to deal with obscene noise issues…read more Living in an apartment building there is bound to be noise issues. I have lived here for years and yes sometimes there is some noise. For the most part, it has not been an issue. However, my current upstairs neighbors have been making obscene amounts of noise. It sounds like elephants having sex. But it happens for hours everyday. I make my first complain in early April 2024. Management acknowledged it. The noise persisted a couple weeks later so I lodged another complain. Again they acknowledged. Noise issues continued to persist and I have continued to file complaints but now they refuse to acknowledge. I started going to the office when these issues happened, in addition to the written complaints. One of the managers even came to my unit to listen to the problem first hand. She then left to go talk to the neighbors. However, the noise persists. The last communication I've received is that the upstairs neighbors will move soon and they promise to try to stay quiet in the meantime. There has been frequent noise since then, but my complaints are now being ignored. I want to mention once again that I have not had this issue with any other upstairs neighbors. This is the only time. At this point I have made at least a dozen complaints from April-June 2024. I have provided over a dozen videos proving the issue. They have seen the issues first hand. Most people would move out after 2 weeks of this. I have dealt with this for 3 months. I have exhibited an incredible amount of patience and yet they do nothing to resolve the situation. Below are links to videos on google drive demonstrating the noise issues. I'm so sorry for your ears. Everything was fine for the first several months, then that one incident occurred, the organization…read moreresponded in favor of the racist tenant, it left me feeling some type of way, needless to say, I found my self looking for a new community to rent from because I did not want to invest in an organization like this. I'm not sure who's idea it was at the organizational level to submit a "final warning slip" to the former African American-Caribbean concierge earlier this year, one week after the garage incident/harassment complaint, however, that was a decision that only a racist organization would make. ...........Long story short, while I was minding my own business browsing on my phone in shared living space, some unknown tenant emerged out of nowhere, walked up to me and demanded I show proof of occupancy right around 5 pm during normal business hours as I was coming home from work. After I informed him that I was a renter, he was not trying hear it. He became very hostile, then stormed off to reported me as the suspicious trespasser in the building to the concierge, who coincidently was an African American woman. Even after the concierge informed the tenant that I was a valid renter, he became increasingly rash, defensive and unapologetic, then escalated the issue to general manager Krystal, VP-Jamie and President Brent Rogers. Several days later, these three decided to submit a final warning slip to the black employee prompting her to quit all because the racist tenant who was harassing me implied that black people made them feel uncomfortable. It's like the organization was more concerned about appeasing the white tenant who committed the offense over my right to walk up and down my apt/shared living space without having to worry about being harassed by these class of futile hero mofos. I'm so glad I haven't had to waste my time working with these type of phony companies that pretend to be so BLM friendly in their brocuhures and shit trying to get black people to move into "their" communities, and when we do, one idiot gets so obsessed and threatened by us that they have to violate our rights to make themselves feel safe, and the organization responds in favor of the offender. On a lighter, brighter note: -The company serves breakfast on Wednesday's. -The apartment complex is close to walking trails. -The elevators were very spacious which offers effortless moving (thank god, it made it easier for me to pack all my belongings and evacuate all in one trip.)

I feel like that's a ton of updates for an apartment! I was always impressed. My only wish is that they did more within the units to update. Since I lived in the same unit for several years, many things had typical wear and tear and things like the counter tops and AC units were VERY outdated. Garbage and recycling are picked up multiple times per week, so it doesn't overflow and smell. I appreciate that! Other apartments are not always as frequent. Overall friendly residence and staff. Three stars. They may improve their operations but we won't be around to see it. Our experience was three stars. Stay far far away! Yes, this is a generally pleasant place to live, but the people that work there and manage this property are unbelievable and conniving. Long story short, we found a subleaser to take on the last two months of our lease and add one additional month. We were verbally told by an associate that was OK and that the lease would expire at the end of the added month. THEN over a month later the asst manager informed us that that conversation was invalid and we would be on the hook for paying a full additional month. She also told us it was not in their policy to extend leases by only one month and it would need to be put in writing. So basically THEY broke two policies in one shot but we're on the hook for the money. Unacceptable and shady business practice.
