The Teepees were over the hot pools and it was a nice feel. Very tastefully done. The front desk team was amazing and very friendly. The grounds were very well taken care of and quite lush. I was happy there were so many local walking paths as well. I enjoyed how many rooms and seating areas they had for you to enjoy coffee or just relax and read a book. The food for dinner room service was fairly lackluster, however the breakfast buffet was nice and filled us up. The main reason for taken off a star was because of the horrible bus. I left with almost 15-20 bug bites after just one day there. Definitely need to put in some bug safeguards like lavender or citronella plants. The bites lasted for weeks and tainted the experience. Overall 4/5 stars.

I usually go to the bar section of the place in which they have their own craft beer. The lunches are good and have hearty portions. And often my visits can have an exhaustive nature to them so escaping to this bar which is fairly quiet during the day for a pint is very nice. Getting a craft beer pint reminds me of where I live now where defaulted beer that everyone associates with beer drinking isn't the norm. It's been a while since I have had an evening meal here but I recently have had their breakfast buffet which is very nice. The food is nice and fresh and flavorful! Last year my father passed away and we did a private catering event in the dining room which was very nice. They got us in on very short notice and the event went quite smoothly. The organizer was extremely helpful and organized and laid out all the options for the event we were needing to do after the funeral. So that went quite smoothly. I am not sure when my next visit back will be but if it's a trip of a recreational and casual nature I will definitely stop by the bar for a pint of beer!

I'm hovering between 3.5 and 4 stars on this one. They opened in 1989 and when I finally stepped in here it was 2017! Lol! Lollypops has long been the place to go during the summer for locals and tourists alike over the years. I think Lollypops was strictly seasonal for a while and they were only open during the summers if my memory serves. Since then they have expanded their menu to include breakfast and lunch options and after checking their hours on their window it seems that they are indeed open all year around these days. I have heard from family that the breakfasts here can be hit and miss. On my recent (and first !) visit here it was in Autumn and I definitely was not in the mood for ice cream since there was a chill in the air. I'm not always a big breakfast eater either but I love pastries which they do offer! I got their Dirty Chai Tea which I actually enjoyed a lot! The mix that they used with a blending of coffee made a very good, warming drink! I have no complaints about that in the slightest! The banana muffin that I also got could have been better. It was moist but it wasn't very flavorful and was a bit dull. It looked like the pastries... the muffins at least are made off site and that they are ordered in by a vendor because the packaging had a different name on it than Lollypops. The decor here is very quaint and cute. You can get some tables by the window and enjoy people watching as you enjoy your meal or snack. Whenever it is warm again and I'm back visiting I'd love to try the ice cream since this is what they are best known for and their variety of flavors is very impressive.

I am not exaggerating to say that it was perhaps the best ice cream I have ever eaten. Service was friendly and informed. This is how the dining experience used to be, and I appreciate that diners like this are still open! My husband and I both had breakfast meals. I had the classic and my husband had chicken and waffles, both were great! My daughter had a huge cinnamon roll and the other got chicken strips. The waitress was friendly and the service was fairly quick! Recommend highly!!

It was a cold and very windy day so a cup of chili sounded perfect. The young lady who waited on us said that she had just made it. And the chef said that she makes the best chili in town. Ordered a cup of chili with a side of sour cream. The chili came out quick and fast hot with a large serving of cheese and onions on top. I love a good onion on top of chili. It adds just enough crunch. Asked for my side of sour cream and was informed that they did not have any. We also ordered the jalapeño poppers. They were just OK. I prefer my jalapeño poppers to be stuffed with cream cheese and not cheddar cheese. It gave it a weird texture and I didn't really care for it. It was decorated cutely for the holiday season of Halloween. If you have a large party, you may be split up at different tables as they do have a few booths and then a counter to sit at. Not very large, but the good thing is they are open 24 hours so if you do crave some food in the middle of the night like a breakfast hashbrowns and potatoes, this will be your place to go.
