Biscuits are golden brown on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside. They hold up when you cut them in half and add butter. Bacon is cooked through but not burnt and is a nice medium thickness. The eggs were cooked perfectly which NEVER happens when we ask for over easy. Grits were a little thinner than I like but still nice. The waffle was golden and fluffy and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The chicken was good; not super juicy but it wasn't "dry" either, the pieces were small so overcooking is tough to avoid, but the breading was good in terms of seasoning and it wasn't "all bread" and no chicken. Potato wedges were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The coffee was very fresh and if you're into coffee you know what I mean. Not too strong and not too weak, just a good "morning" cup of joe. The dining room is clean as a whistle and the bathrooms are, too. New flooring, fresh paint and it's obvious they take pride in their place.

This stop is about two miles off of the interstate, but well worth the detour. After we plugged in our Tesla to charge we stumbled upon H&M Hot Dog. A sign outside the hotdog stand boasted about the best burger in town and this was no exaggeration. The burgers and fries were absolutely excellent. Prices are so affordable! I couldn't believe our family of four had lunch for under $30! (My husband and I each ordered a cheeseburger and my boys both ordered hotdogs. We also had two baskets of fries to share, two cans of soda, and a bottled water). The hotdog stand is tiny and charming and the two women running the stand were cooking food and taking orders nonstop during our visit. There is only one counter inside with about ten barstools and picnic tables outside to sit at. So glad that we discovered this hidden gem. We will be back!!!
