It is a business in a small town where everyone knows each other. Maybe they didn't know he died....hard to believe. Almost impossible to believe actually bc when my mother went to pay, an employee hung his head knowing my father had died and we were sent a bill. Shame on you.

The Lumber Barn and it's staff have been incredibly helpful. They offer free local delivery, quality products. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a local building materials provider who could offer such great products, with a personal touch on service, and a price very competitive with the big box stores. I shop here for all my home repair needs whenever possible. Would love to see them expand their hours to 6pm so I could stop by on my way home from work. I would think they would also get a bit more business this way from others on their way home as well. The only time I shop anywhere else is when they are closed and I need something that day.

The person,(I'm sorry I forget his name) was very helpful and worked with me trying different options by piecing pipe and flanges together to get to what I needed. Probably spent 1/2 hour with me trying to figure something out. There have been times when I walk in 5 minutes before closing needing a propane tank refilled and they have no problems taking the time to do it.
