The bakery (which is all we saw) was amazing with a fantastic variety of baked items for every taste. There was a good selection of coffee varieties and fortunately for me as a non coffee drinker, soft drinks. Back to my scone. I got the pineapple coconut flavor. The scone was unbelievably light and bursting with flavor. I only wish I had room for two or even three. We also got a salted caramel cookie which was just as fantastic. Ebels has a lot of comfortable seating to enjoy your treats. I only wish the best scone I've ever had wasn't 60+ miles away. .

One of the biggest reasons i come here is that this is the only place in town that offeres them; so to see my coveted treat reduced to a single bite is sad. We arrived mid-late afternoon and the restaurant was not busy but by the time our food arrived, Village Baker was pretty busy. The menu is huge but the blackened grouper sandwich was what my wife and I both chose. I was surprised how good it was because every February almost my entire diet is fresh grouper or mahi mahi. The dish here was definitely a worthy contender. Our friends ordered a Rueben and the Baker's Wife Pizza. Everything look so good. Since there were many items I'd like to try, we definitely need to come back. Service-Excellent. On our way our, we stopped at the attached bakery. Lots of really great looking baked items including scones, lemon bars, macaroons, tarts, cinnamon rolls, etc. So glad we discovered Village Baker.
