I am currently going to The Physical Doctor in Bayside and seeing therapist SUNG. He is completely hands on. Also very patient and sensitive to my needs as I am being seen for my wrist and for balance. SUNG makes sure you have the correct form and explains WHY you need to adjust your posture, etc. to attain the right form. I highly recommend him as he is fun while working you. Being in chronic pain, under the care of different doctors, and taking various pain medications, I finally found relief at the Physical Therapy doctor. Dr. Robert Morea, the owner, along with his incredible dedicated staff, all work together to customize the best therapy needed for each patient. My therapist, Dr. Sam Souto , has been the answer to my prayers. What makes him an outstanding therapist is that he is able to think outside the box. Beyond his outstanding expertise and compassion, he is highly intuitive. He works with the mind-body connection. Not like so many other doctors and practitioners who think we are body parts. He has been able to connect all the dots; as, to why I have been in chronic pain for years. Not only is he a wonderful listener, he gives clarity and understanding to the process needed for the healing to take place. The progress that I have made is amazing and outstanding. There's so much more I can now do in my daily life that I haven't done in years. Feeling healthier and more vibrant than I have felt in a long time. Feeling healthier and more vibrant that I have felt in a long time. So grateful! Dr. Sam Souto, THE BEST OF THE BEST! read more

this fine Group has helped me feel like a much younger man, thank you all and special thanks to Dr Dillion. read more

they overcharged my mom's copay, initially acknowledged the overcharge, but when she called for a refund they requested the EOB to verify the charges. which is fine, as a company you should do your due diligence. however, the accounts lady was really rude about it and then instead of emailing her manager, she emailed my mom saying "OMG the lady called again wth, i told her to wait for your call , she was ready to call you LOL" it's one thing to make an overcharge refund difficult for the sake of due diligence, but you really don't have to be rude and condescending about it. the error was on YOUR end, not the paying customer, who's rightfully owed a refund. read more

This will be my second experience with The Physical Therapy Doctor, Bayside. Initially I began treatment for a shoulder replacement, with excellent results.Presently I have returned, due to a knee replacement. In both cases, Dr. Josh Grauer was, and is relentless in his support therapeutically as well as emotionally. His compassionate listening skills along with his incredible knowledge always made me feel comfortable and secure in the knowledge that I would steadily progress and my strenghth and agility would return allowing me to resume my active lifestyle. When I started seeing Robert at The Physical Therapy doctor, I was suffering from significant and chronic TMJ, neck and shoulder pain following a minor car accident. After 6 months the pain was getting worse and none of the previously successful treatments were working. This was affecting all aspects of my life. Several AAT sessions with Robert not only resolved the pain but also resolved the fear and anxiety I had developed around driving. I found myself more relaxed, flexible and able to handle challenges and stress. I am truly grateful for Robert and AAT treatments and I highly recommend them and The Physical Therapy Doctor. --Jeanna A. Occupational Therapist (OT) read more

This was the third Physical Therapy clinic I tried after the first 2 failed miserably to achieve relief for my Lower back/right Hip problem. I had driven by many times and thought to give them a try. Highly professional staff and efficient as well. I attended every visit not canceling once, diligently doing the stretches/exercises given to me to complete at home along with the sessions. I am pleased to say after a few months with their help I am pain/discomfort free, able to keep up with my young children, and able to take classes at my sports club. More importantly I've been able to enjoy going dancing with friends. Would strongly recommend! read more

Highly recommend Dr. Tom. He knows his stuff! He has a wonderful manner too. Explains and listens. He worked a long time on my shoulder each of my visits. And now, a miracle. I'm feeling better. Awesome place. The staff here is great. They are knowledgable and friendly. They will definitely help to make you feel better

I have been going to The Physical Therapy Doctor for treatment for over a period of 10 months due to a number of ailments originally stemming from a severely strained ankle, general weakness in my legs and a sore tennis elbow. Both Robert, the owner, and his team of physical therapists and staff members are very proficient in all aspects of their work and find the location next to the post office an inviting place to spend while receiving treatments. Although some patients appear to choose one physical therapist exclusively, I tend to make appointments interchangeably with Robert or the other physical therapists based on availability of appointment times since I feel confident and comfortable with everyone of his team. I have experienced a complete return of function to my ankle, notice improvement in the strength of my legs and after a very complex left arm issue, have a major reduction in the pain and discomfort I am feeling in my elbow. The interaction among patients, the front desk, staff and team of physical therapists is terrific. The perception is they all get along with each other and are very pleasant to the patients in their large facility (b/t/w, I started to receive my treatment after they moved to the Bay Terrace Shopping Center, upper level from Bell Blvd and 212th Street). The facility also has a great sound system and music that facilitates the exercises I do. I highly recommend The Physical Therapy Doctor if you are in need of physical therapy (or a more personal fitness center). read more

I came here as a last resort because if PT didn't work on my rotator cuff issue, then shoulder surgery was my only option. And I am soooo lucky to have found this top tier place. The facility is modern, bright, airy, extremely clean and they play a good variety of background tunes. As an artist, environment is important to me as I am/will be coming here 2/3x's a week for quite a few weeks. Everyone from the front desk staff to the PT assistants are very welcoming and on point. I've been to quite a few other physical therapist practices for a variety of issues. Sometimes I've had a decent therapist but then the assistants aren't great. At The PT Doctor you have both. The assistants are knowledgeable, kind and very attentive. My therapist, Dr. Melwin Fernandez made me feel immediately at ease with his chill vibe, compassion, and humor. His knowledge and dedication to the profession is very apparent as he explains the reasoning behind his treatment plan. He frequently checks in with me, making sure I'm comfortable with the exercises, the approach or if I have any questions. From the very first session I Immediately felt improvement in my pain level as well as strength. Something I haven't found at any of the prior places I've been to, is their helpful printed cards with photos on a ring they give you with your home exercises which makes it easy to remember what you should do. I feel truly blessed that I found this place, will not need surgery and the hope it's given me. You will not regret coming here. read more

This is a good place for physical therapy. Everyone in the practice is friendly: the therapists, assistants, and front desk staff. The therapists are knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. They clearly explain your clinical issue and therapeutic plan they will guide you through towards a resolution, be it increasing muscle function, decreasing pain, and/or restoration of function, etc. In addition, they try to accommodate your schedule with convenient appointment times. read more

I went here because it is in my neighborhood and parking is easy. I've been to physical therapy places twice before in my life and I have to say that this place is the best I've ever experienced. The staff is polite and professional and they really spend time with you. I had a problem with my right shoulder and even though the repetitive exercises seemed a bit senseless, to my surprise, after 4 weeks I could remove a t-shirt over my head without pain! Obviously they know what they are doing. I would definitely go there again and recommend them to my family and friends. read more

I saw Dr. Robert Morea for A.A.T. I battle several autoimmune diseases and suffered from chronic neck and shoulder pain/tightness. It triggered tension headaches, migraines, and TMJ to the point where I was bedridden. I also had unexplainable numbness and tingling throughout my body, severe joint aches, and a huge list of other symptoms. They are either gone or they have improved dramatically after A.A.T. I've tried so many other types of treatments and none of them worked as well or as quickly as this. It also helped with my stress levels and past traumas. The thing that I noticed the most was that I was able to drive without any anxiety or fears. (I was traumatized from car accidents when I was young and experienced a lot of tingling in my face and all throughout my body every time I got in the car.) After just the first session, I was much more relaxed. It even helped me to sleep better. I was shocked. By the third session, I saw a huge improvement on my overall health. The tightness/pain went away and I was no longer nauseous. I cannot tell you how much Dr. Morea and A.A.T. has helped me and improved my quality of life. If you are experiencing any pain or have a bunch of symptoms that just never seem to go away, I highly recommend this treatment. I believe it will help you treat the root cause of your symptoms. It will give you long lasting results and not only offer temporary relief like some medications do. (Ask Donna about A.A.T. if you're unsure. She is so sweet, I love her.) The rest of the staff are also amazing. There are too many of them to name but they are all great. I always felt so welcomed here. Thank you for the pleasant experience! read more

My experience with the Physical Therapy Doctor has always been excellent. When I first met Dr. Robert Morea, I was extremely impressed with him as he explained the process that I was about to embark upon and completely answered all of my questions. His team of Physical Therapists, led by Dr. Nikki Rahaman, my day to day therapist, is kind, caring, knowledgeable and accommodating. When Nikki is unavailable due to scheduling, I know that I am still in great hands (no pun intended) with her fellow PT's, Marichu, Marjorie, Michael, Joshua and, of course Dr. Morea. Additionally, the Physical Therapy Aides, Pablo, Tyler, Katherine and Roen are exceptional as well. They are all very considerate and always inquire about my health and disposition with each visit. The administrative staff in the reception area are second to none too. Adriana, Donna, Aartie and Linda are all very warm, friendly and courteous upon my entry into the office. They have assisted me numerous times with insurance coverage, billing and appointment issues and continue to make me feel at ease when I am there. I commend the entire team at the office for their excellent standards and outstanding commitment to patient care. read more
