Living room carpet was not vacuumed very well at all. I reached out to Karen (owner) and her response was " Hi Jan, all of that was done today, this won't work for anyone. Tysm for the opportunity " . The garbage was left all over the ground outside, apparently the bag broke. I reached out to Karen and her response was " Yes, the bag in ur kitchen was really full". Cestaro refinished a 5 piece 1940s solid wood bedroom set for me and the result was spectacular!…read more Ann, the owner, came to my home to give an estimate--she was friendly and efficient and gave me a fair price on the spot. We arranged for the furniture to be picked up for refinishing and I later went to the facility in Woodland Park (look at the map at the entrance to the complex to find the exact building where they are located) to pick out a stain. Ann showed me the stripped furniture and then stained the front of a small drawer to show me exactly what the stain would look like on my furniture. The work took about 2 weeks in total to complete and the furniture was delivered looking brand new. Due to the extremely dirty condition of the furniture from being in a home with a heavy smoker, I was afraid it would not be saved but I am ecstatic with the result. Some other plusses: The delivery men were great and took great care with the pieces; payment was not due until the time of delivery even though I asked about leaving a deposit; all of my phone calls were answered immediately--I never had to leave a message--which was an added benefit. This was a great experience and my husband and I are considering having some other work done. I would definitely recommend Cestaro Furniture Finishing.

Nearly a year later, my wife and I marvel at the beauty of the redesign and quality of construction. The demolition and installations went smoothly and timely. A special shout-out to Faseeha Ahmad, the interior designer, who repeatedly exhibited her talent at matching color, style, and placement--even joining us to select a couch, area rug, and other complementary touches that brought adjoining rooms into harmony with the remodeled kitchen. I called many months ago and spoke with the owner (Mike) to replace damaged laminate flooring in a business in my commercial building. The owner, Mike, had came and measured and said it would be done soon. Several weeks had went by with no calls or updates. I was wondering why no one reached out to give me a status update, so I called the owner. When I called him, he said he would call me back in a few minutes but never did. I was starting to get "fed up" and reached out again, and he started ignoring my calls. When I became totally fed up and left a voicemail of my displeasure, he then put me on automatic - voicemail. I was a loyal and dependable customer to them for years without any issues. I talked to my friend who referred me to Best Carpets and Interiors and I found out that the company's business practices are not what they used to be. Basically, if you are not a "big job" like a large scale renovation, you are but on the "back burner". I was really "stunned" because the job I needed done was an easy one or two day job. (laying down laminate in a room in my tenant's beauty salon. I referred people to Best Carpets in the past, but " never again".

I had a not so great experience with Kilpatrick Moving & Storage. At first we were vetting them…read moreand a few others out and we liked that they were local, the gentlemen who quoted us was sincere, and Michelle the office/sales person assured us we were in good hands. So we decided to move forward with the move because we trusted them. The actual movers themselves were all very good, prompt, and very experienced. We felt like we hit the jackpot as Michelle assured us anything we needed she would take care of us which they did in the beginning to earn our business. When she quoted us hourly rates she said that whatever isn't used we did not have to pay for. Therefore my wife and I worked very hard to get rid of any excess in our old house so that it will help reduce the workload and expense of moving. We moved out of our old home, storage our goods for two months, and moved to our new home with Kipatrick Moving, & Storage. It wasn't until the final move that all of a sudden Michelle said they required a certified check when previously deposit and initial move I had always written them with a regular check. I didn't think anything of it however Michelle said that we must get them a certified check in order for her team to start moving things into final destination. I was annoyed by this already however went to the bank and did as she said. When I came back the movers started moving and did so from 9am and worked until 4pm being a total of 7 Hours which we paid for 8. They charged me for a full 8 hours therefore I reached back out to Michelle via email to ask her about the one hour reimbursement and 5 emails later no reply back her since the job is done and they took my certified check. I even called her out saying she was dodging the question of reimbursement for the one hour. To me it wasn't the one hour reimbursement money it was the honor system that they promised security and fairness and they did not honor what they said. As a business owner you must always try to figure out a way to take care of your customers, and I do not feel dodging your customers was the right way to deal with the situation. I wish I could give higher stars for the actual movers but the final straw for me was the non response back from Michelle and not even a courtesy to say they have no intentions of reimbursement of the final hour.

He gave a very reasonable price for the work and was able to schedule me pretty quickly. He helped me pick out a nice low pile industrial carpet that matched the color scheme of the attic and would be able to stand up to lots of foot traffic by the kids. Dale Jr. came on time to install the carpet and was quite diligent in getting the carpet installed, even though the stairs had some tricky turns and landings. All throughout the process both Dale Sr and Dale Jr were professional, polite and prompt. The stairs look great and I would definitely recommend them to folks who are looking for carpeting work.
