After my first appointment, I intentionally started booking with other estheticians at this location, and those experiences were excellent. I never had any issues with pain or my skin. This time, I didn't realize I had been assigned to Emillee again. During the waxing, I repeatedly asked her to be gentler because the pain was unbearable, but she continued anyway. The experience was extremely painful, and afterward my skin developed blisters. I've had waxing done many times before, including by other staff at this location, and I've never experienced anything like this. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly commented that I had darker skin and darker hair. Those comments made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out. I also noticed her adding something to the wax during the appointment, although I wasn't told what it was. In addition, wax was spilled on both the floor and the table, making the entire appointment feel disorganized and unprofessional. During the service, I told her how much pain I was in and warned that I would consider taking legal action if my skin was injured because I felt my concerns were being ignored. Despite that, the service continued without any noticeable adjustment. Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had. Based on my experience, I would not book with Emillee again.

I came back without specifying a technician for a second time. I didn't get the lady's name. Massage was rough. She cut my nail so deep that I told her it hurt. She said she needed to remove my in-growth (which i didn't know and had no problem with). My toe was bleeding the entire time of cutting and nail polish. She put alcohol on my bleeding toe and used acetone removed nail polish right next to my bleeding spot. I thought I had an in-growth that I didn't know , so I tolerated it. However , it's been 7 days and my infection at my toe isn't going away even after I put Neosporin for a couple of days.

Update: I stopped by due to Lisa's comment below and confronted her about her lies that I never stopped by or that I got a haircut in her salon. First of all I wouldn't know how Lisa would remember me if it wasn't her who cut my hair. Her only reason for her lying below and saying I didn't stop by was that she didn't remember me. I stand by my review and would add that her comment clearly shows that they would go to the extend of lying just to look better. All they had to do was apologize and take the criticism but instead choose to reply back to my original review and lie about me never getting a haircut there . This salon has been recently renovated with contemporary & modern finishes. One of the things I love about this salon is that the chairs are so comfortable & classy looking. This is so important when you have to sit for a 3-4-hour hair processing session. Lisa (owner and hairstylist) has been taking care of my tresses for the last 3 years. When I came in for the appointment I explained what we had done and how and brought the purple for the top layer with me. I asked her if she wanted to try to do the whole thing, but I was prepared for just purple and ready to take "No " for an answer. I was delighted when she said yes, and got super into it with me. She had fun, I had fun and my hair looks AMAZING! This, and a trim to even up the ends was about what I expected to pay and totally worth it.
