I had to have the ceiling repaired in my bedroom because of a leak . The roofer cut a hole in the ceiling to see specifically where the leak was coming from. Turns out it was from a window above the bedroom. I called The Patch Boys for an estimate on repairing the drywall and then painting the ceiling. I had the work done yesterday and it was meticulous. Raymond was my repair person and he did an amazing and very clean job. I would highly recommend this company for anybody in need of a quality drywall repair. read more

Awful customer service and poor quality work. Only few months after their work and drywall tape is coming off the ceiling corner where they painted. Kevin from Patch Boys requires we pay them to return and fix their work Property damage: Our custom glass kitchen pendant had its cable torn and glass shattered. Negligence: I have to climb a 12-foot ladder to vacuum away all the drywall debris they left in our chandelier light because they were negligent to cover the chandelier with tarp! They did not move back ours. grand piano to where it was before their work. Black smudges on our 16-ft. wall I had to clean myself. Light fixture bases not put back up. read more

Did not hire. Extremely overpriced relative to other contractors for exactly the same services requested. Customers be warned. Also read the details on their estimates, there are a lot of things they do not include in their estimate for repair. read more

We had some water leaks that damaged our kitchen ceiling in several spots. The drywall sections needed to be removed and replaced. Maureen was very nice and helpful getting us scheduled on a timely basis and following up to make sure we were kept advised of when the technician would arrive. Jose was fantastic. His work was flawless. He kept our kitchen covered from all debris and it was totally clean when he finished and removed his materials. He was extremely pleasant and efficient. The cost was far more reasonable than a couple other quotes we received. We're very happy we used them. read more

This is by far the most unprofessional business that I've ever had to deal with. While packing a few boxes on a Sunday night, my fiancé tripped on one of the boxes and slammed into the door pushing the doorknob right into the drywall, which also caused a picture frame on the adjacent wall to fall off and puncture another hole in the wall (double whammy I guess). I contacted The Patch Boys on Sunday (1/10/2021) and left a voicemail so I can try to get a call back from them first thing Monday morning. When that did not happen, I tried to call them again during their open business hours, but no one picked up the phone and their voicemail box was full so I couldn't even leave a message. I ended up going onto their website to request a quote. I got a call back the next day from an assistant and we were able to communicate through text messages and email in order to send pictures of the needed repairs. I got a quote back in about two hours and was told that I would be contacted by someone to schedule an appointment. That was Tuesday (1/12/21). When I haven't heard back from them, I tried to call the business again to set up my appointment, but I wasn't able to reach anyone or leave a voicemail, again. I also sent a follow up email to no avail. I specifically chose this business because they claimed to do "instant" repairs and the reviews on their website claimed that people received quotes and scheduled appointments within 20 minutes. Like where? I've been trying to schedule an appointment since Monday and it's more painful than seeing my doorknob go straight into my drywall. False claims, false reviews and severely unprofessional. I wanted to get this issue patched up and done by the end of this week or early next week and this business completely wasted my time. I do not recommend this business. Get it together. read more

This is really 2 reviews in one. I will give the final product a strong 5 stars but there were some hiccups along the way. I have divided it into 2 parts. The first was their emergency service. We had a fairly bad leak from our upstairs bathroom into our living room. The plumbers refused to open up the ceiling below so I had to emergently have them out to open up the ceiling so we could figure out what was going on. Because the final repair would be contingent on getting the leak fixed, they broke the bill down and only charged me for the demo until the repair was completed. This was good since at no fault of theirs, this was almost 8 months later. They were communicative and everything went smooth. The plastic cover to the hole they made even lasted until the project was finished. This segment is a 5. The second did not go as well. Finally after 8 months the bathroom above was fixed and I could proceed with the final repair. The communication was less than ideal and there were several instances where I was stuck waiting only for them to be extremely late including when I was the first stop of the day. They were extremely apologetic but it was a rough week of waiting and finding coverage for them to be there to do the work. Despite the challenges, I will give them 3 stars for this part with the statement, "you have to communicate" especially if something is going wrong. On average, a 4 is in order read more

Wow! I found the Patch Boys on the Thumbtack app a few months ago. I called them out to provide a quote for some drywall cracks that I have due to settling... my home is only 2 years old and it's the second time I've had to have cracks repaired. The first time was traumatizing. The builder sent a crew in and when they left my home looked like a war zone! There was dust and debris on every conceivable surface. Not this time! Nelson from the Patch Boys arrived, came in an assessed the job. He prepped each area carefully. He basically created these little cocoons with drop clothes and plastic sheeting to contain the dust. He would get inside of them to work , kind of looking like the boy in the plastic bubble. He was quiet as I was working from home but most importantly.. He did a great job. My ceilings look better than new. He explained to me what he did and the job was reasonably priced. I would recommend the Patch Boys wholeheartedly. read more

I originally hired a different contractor for a drywall repair and attic access point install. After the other contractor gave me his quote, he never return my call to fall through with a job. Good thing, because I called Patch Boys next, and they gave me an estimate of more than HALF the price of the previous contractor. We booked the job and it was done quickly and professionally. I highly recommend them! read more

The crew I had did an outstanding job after some tile was removed and some uneven drywall in another area. Looks great

had about 6 visits to finish jobs, 2-4 hours late every time. Didn't show at all one time. Left a mess everywhere they went, would not recommend read more

After accepting an estimate for work, was told that they are more than four weeks out and have no idea when they can start work. Why couldn't you tell me that before coming out? You wasted a week of our time thinking I had someone lined up. Looking for a REAL professional read more

Excellent work drywalling our bedrooms after a leak. Always polite, wore masks and entered through the back door to ensure social distancing

Kevin and his team were awesome! Kevin was quick to respond and came to give us a quote right away. When the team came to work on our home, they were very friendly and professional. We had a scheduling issue with another contractor, and they were so flexible and willing to come back later that evening to finish up. The work they did was great and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend the patch boys! read more

Found the Patch Boys on Thumbtack and they did an amazing job. Kevin and crew did a great job contacting me, providing me with a great quote and did the repair in a professional manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Kevin and crew perform excellent work in a timely and professional manner. Kevin was extremely responsive during the quoting phase. We never had to wait for a response. Their pricing is competitive, and they stand by their work. Our drywall job was completed quickly and efficiently. We had a small issue with paint cracking afterwords (which was not the fault of The Patch Boys), and Kevin came back out to our condo the very next day after it was discovered to ensure his work was 100% complete and in excellent condition. I highly recommend The Patch Boys and will work with them again for any of our drywall needs. read more

Guy showed up on time, assessed the damage, gave me the cost which I thought was a very fair price, the guy let me know there was nothing for me to do except to leave it alone for 48hours, once it was done it looked great, as if there was never a hole there, thanks guy! read more

They were absolutely first class from start to finish.  We were quoted reasonable price right away (and thankfully via emails instead of phone).  When Richard arrived they were on time (early) and explained everything before they started work on drywall fix and painting. They covered areas and cleaned everything before they left. Kevin the owner came to check on the work to make sure we were satisfied.  Definitely going back to them for our next projects. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing work, great communication!!!! Thanks to all involved, we are beyond pleased!!!!!! A++++++++++++

Patch Boys completed 2 jobs for us. First was to repair the ceiling in our pantry and the second was replacement of a large part of our garage ceiling. Both were caused by water damage and they did an outstanding job with both repairs. No one can tell these areas were once damaged. Would definitely recommend The Patch Boys for any drywall needs. read more

Kevin was great. I had to repair a crack in my foundation wall and the waterproofing company had to cut out two sections of drywall about a foot by two feet each above my basement stairs. I texted Kevin a picture of the area and he gave me a very reasonable quote to complete the repair. He did a fantastic job and when finished I couldn't tell where the patch was made. I would definitely recommend him for your drywall repair needs. read more

I needed the drywall repaired in the area above my bathtub. Kevin examined the area and provided a quote for the drywall repair and also to paint the area. When I decided to go forward with the quote, Kevin scheduled Juan to the repair within 24 hours. Juan arrived on time, repaired the area, and primed the area for me to paint. With each step of the process, Juan showed me what he was doing. I was very happy with the final product, and I would highly recommend the Patch Boys to anyone. read more
