Owner said if he paints like he power washes then didn't want to use him. He got snotty and left 6 gallons of paint in driveway and left. The 93 yr old had to carry all the paint into garage alone. Here's what happened: In Spring 2023 we hired Mr. Paint to paint our deck. After the work was completed the paint was peeling after only a few months. We contacted him later that summer, he came out to look at the job, agreed it wasn't prepped correctly and offered to return in the following Spring and re-do the work. He returned in Spring with a Sherwin Williams Rep who confirmed that the site wasn't prepped correctly, it was power washed one day before painting and the wood, still retaining moisture, then expanded after painting leading to extensive cracks and peeling. After his own paint rep confirmed the site was not correctly prepped Mr. Paint then blamed the third party contractor that HE HIRED and refused to re-do the job as he previously promised and also refused to return our money. We are now out $1275 and our deck looks worse than before it was painted. It will cost us more to repair his company's poor workmanship than the amount we originally paid him. We are now filing in small claims court to have our money returned and have filed a complaint against Mr. Paint with States Attorneys Office.

The crew showed up on time each of three days and were here from 7 am to 5, were hardworking and careful and assisted in moving large furniture. We have cathedral ceilings in both the living room and kitchen eating area. The painting was amazing. We had our basement living area and main floor as well as the hallway from the main floor to the second floor. I will definitely use them to paint the second floor when we are ready.
