We sat at the exit for 10 minutes while the machine didn't work, had to get out of our car and find a bus driver to ask for help, just to find that there was a worker in the tinted booth the whole time who opened up her window when we got back and claimed it was too cold to open it before to help. read more

Started using The Parking Spot as my go to off site parking while traveling out of BWI. I registered and use the app to reserve my parking with no issues. There is always a shuttle available with a less than 15 minute wait. Our latest driver from the West location (they also have a North location that services BWI) CJ, was pleasant and very informative, telling us about the increase in traffic due to some changes in the airline, pickup options when coming to BWI, taking a photo of your ticket so you will always know your spot and a whole bunch of other useful information. All in all, a nice parking/transportation service to use ig you travel to/grom BWI. read more

Thank goodness my wife and I got there EARLY, like stupid early, because we stood in the parking lot on a horrible muggy day for a HALF HOUR after we parked. 30 people were standing around waiting. Some were freaking out, and a few of us called and said "HEY, COME PICK US UP". No apologies. No reasons. Nothing...we barely made our flight. I returned from a flight around 7:45 Thursday evening. As I ran out to Parking Spot, there was a van with one seat open so I was able to grab it! I thought this was great luck. I got to my car first (again great luck) but low and behold my key fob wasn't working. No worries I thought, I'll just open it regularly. Once I opened and nothing happened, I panicked. I tried starting, no luck. Dead as a doornail. I lifted my hood and about 10 minutes later Clement stopped over in his van. I told him of my plight and he assured me he would help me. He went to let others know to take him off rotation and came back with a battery charger. Since my battery was so dead I didn't think it would work. Clement kept reassuring me that everything would be okay. His calmness chilled my anxiety . Sure enough, the car started back up. I know that there is a Saint named Clement, but I met a true hero the night he was there to fix my car. Thank you so much Clement! read more

Hard to rate this place poorly. We were picked up and dropped out off in a timely fashion. Drivers were all polite and willing to help with luggage. Checking in and out was pretty quick except the machine going in had trouble scanning our QR code. Only reason I deducted a star is because of a leaking AC unit. It was leaking when we left. When we came back a week later, there was still a leak. I'm hoping it was the same bus, but it was surprising it wasn't fixed since none of the back seats could be used. Also, the drivers aren't great about changing the names on the bus (this is a super minor thing). I tried to thank the driver by name, which is listed on a sheet of paper, only to realize as he was unloading our bags that wasn't his name :/ Oh well... read more

We used the parking spot rather than parking at BWI for a week long vacation. Upon departure , the driver was very courteous and friendly. They picked us up at our car, helped with our luggage and explained where we would meet the bus when we returned. Upon arrival after our vacation, we waited only a couple minutes for the regular bus to pick us up. Again the driver was courteous and friendly. They helped us load and on load our luggage and dropped us off right back at our vehicle. We prepaid for our reservation which made for easy in and out of the parking area using the app. Tips for the drivers are appreciated but it required. read more

I've parked here for years. It was always a little more than $8/day and the service was good. I just parked there over the thanksgiving week. They charged me $25/day. I looked at their site and made a reservation for the next week and the price quoted was $8.25. What's with $25? I called and they said that prices fluctuate. Nice to know after the fact. I could have parked in the much more convinient hourly parking for $30/day and would have done that if I knew I was going to pay $25/day. We called and they said there was a sign. I didn't see it. When I told them they had lost a customer, the rep's response was "ok. That's fine". Disappointing. I had enjoyed using this service, but won't be going forward. read more

I spent $88 on a pre-paid parking reservation. Now I am sick and had to cancel my flight. But The Parking Spot does not refund cancellations of prepaid reservations. I get it, a penalty makes sense, but the whole thing?! It seems like customer service would consider a 50% refund or something. First time Parking Spot customer. Last time customer. We came back from our vacation in Florida to pick up our car. We were shuttled to our car and it worked out fine. Once we got to the exit gate to leave we did not know the procedure and tried to find the QR code. When we could not find it, I asked an attendant. I got out of our truck and walked to a booth where one attendant was talking to another when I told her that we could not find our QR code to leave and lift the gate. She said well you need it or you can't get out and shrugged her shoulders. Mind you we had already paid the full fee for our stay. Finally we found our QR code and I walked over again to the booth to try to scan the machine, it did not work. At that time the attendant had a scanner and scanned the QR code and the gate opened. I cannot believe they could not look up our license plate and help us...we will not park there again there are many other options..their employees are horrible and customer service is nonexistent. read more

The pricing is very reasonable for long term parking. In addition, they offer a frequent rewards program that allows me to get a free reservation after so many visits. A convenient place to park. I used the 790 S.Lithium Road. You'll see the bright yellow Parking Spot sign, turn left into the lot. The ticket will check you in and direct you to the parking lane. Just get your bags and wait at the front of your car. The driver will help with your bags there and at the Airport. Getting aboard, he'll asked what airline you are flying. He announces your airline and help you off and put all of your luggage right in front of the bag check-in. Its is common courtesy to give him a few bucks for handing your bags( about $5.00. When you arrive back from your trip, you pull your bags to th curb side and wait on the bright yellow Park and Ride bus. He take you back to your car. Be sure to hold on to your parking ticket and present same to the driver. He return you directly in front of you car and help off load our luggage. Of course, give him another tip. You will have to pay for the days you parked before leaving the lot. Make sure you have enough money to pay your parking. They also accepts major credit cards. read more

We parked at the Parking Spot recently when we went out of town for the weekend. The prices are good, and they have a lot of spots (Park 'n' Fly was sold out, but we were able to get a spot at the Parking Spot). It's close to the airport, and their shuttles run pretty frequently. Maybe because it was my first time using the Parking Spot or maybe because I'm used to Park 'n' Fly, I didn't know where shuttle pick up was (no signage). We only stood for a minute or two trying to figure out where to when a shuttle flew towards us and picked us up. I think they might just pick up from anywhere? But that's my biggest gripe - it wasn't as easy to navigate because it's so large. But it was convenient, affordable, and we didn't wait long to be picked up when we arrived. So, I'd definitely use them again. Overall, pretty good. read more

I got folded into being a Parking Spot customer after they took over my old lot (Econopark). Service has been very spotty all three times I've used them. Specifically with very long wait times waiting for a shuttle both at the parking lot going to airport and at the airport going to car. As I write this review, I am going on 35 minutes waiting for a shuttle for the North route. There have been 4 West route shuttles come and go and 8 FastPark shuttles come and go. I call the number and they say a shuttle is coming but it's been 15 minutes since I called. Coming to airport, we had to wait a good 20 minutes for a shuttle. Despite being a preferred member with Parking Spot, I will have to start using another parking company. read more

Extremely disappointed in our experience. We purchased in advanced covered parking with the ultimate detail cleaning. Prepaid and all. We get to the parking lot and the guy argues with us about where to park. He sends us to the back corner. We tell him that's not covered. We have covered parking. He says no you don't our system isn't showing anything. I show him my printed receipt and point out that I paid for covered parking and an ultimate detail. He rolls his eyes and uh huh whatever. And the allows us to proceed to the second gate to get into covered parking. Then we worked with the shuttle driver who is much nicer to pass off our keys for the cleaning. Our trip was 12 days. Again prepaid. We return to experience that they couldn't find our keys. So we rode around the parking lot dropping off other passengers while they looked for our keys. Once they found our keys and returned to our car, we noticed it wasn't cleaned at all. The driver said "it rained every day so we didn't bother." I asked "did it actually rain all 12 days we were gone? It's totally dry right now. Doesn't look like it rained today." She said "not my problem. Not my car." Here's a copy of the message I sent to their corporate office. I'll update if they answer so you all can have an idea what that communications system and speed look like. Message sent: After having our vehicle for 12 days and reserved in advance with a prepaid Ultimate Detail, we arrived to find that our vehicle was not cleaned. At all. When asked about it, the driver said "oh it rained every day so we didn't bother." I inquired further because there was supposed to be interior cleaning done as well. That was also not done. Nothing was done. And to add, we were gone for 12 days and when I checked the weather, it only rained one of those 12 days. In fact, it was completely dry when we arrived. The staff didn't do their job. The staff didn't care. Refunding money on the detailed isn't acceptable. We specifically paid for the whole parking instead of being dropped off by friends because of a package situation. I would like to be refunded for the entire package that I purchased as I didn't receive what I purchased. Well we parked here for our trip to Missouri I reserved a spot online it was like $8 a day very reasonable. The reason for just 1 stars is I had an emergency the day we were supposed to fly home I ended up in the ER with kidney stones at first they were going to just give me pain meds to get home but since I had to cancel my flight they operated fixed me up good to be able to fly home the next day. When we went to check out the bill was over double the price for just the week for 2 extra days. I wrote the company sent me a refund of $3 dollars said I was over charged that much. Find some where else to park do give these people any business. read more

Been parking here for 30 years even under its prior name/owner. Lately the service has slipped. Always use "north". May try West next time. Seems like West is in less demand. There were 2 West shuttles waiting at the terminal when we arrived from our flight to pick up area and zero for 'north'. Took 10 to 15 minutes for a shuttle. Then packed to the gills on the north bus. Used to be tons of shuttles and less than 1/2 full. Then checkout was backed up. Seems like the auto exit was broken and took 15 to get through that check out. This is unacceptable. They need to return to the level of service from the older place. read more

The parking spot drivers never look to see if additional passengers are walking to shuttles. Shuttles run every 20 minute who can can cause a 45 min delay for customers trying to pick up their vehicle. I will never use Parking Spot again. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience and the management's response. This is common and both North and West locations. read more

With a reservation we stood waiting at BWI for nearly an hour. Once we counted 12 buses from the rival company Fast Park, we made the declaration that The Parking Spot was going to be a one-and-done experience! The driver couldn't have been nicer, but with only two buses running and at least five others parked in the parking lot, management needs to do a much better job about meeting the demand of its customers. Management also needs to make an effort to put signage in the parking lot area to let you know where the exit is. Needless to say, watching the young lady in front of us for almost 5 minutes trying to manage checking out of the machine, the employee who was servicing the machine in the closed lane next to it could have done some customer service good-will and gone to assist her. I parked at The Parking Spot on 10/23/2021 and decided to have my truck detailed while there. The attendant showed me where to park, I backed into the parking spot, there was nothing but grass behind my truck, no other cars or posts, or anything. I did not hit anything while parking. The only person that drove or moved my truck while I was traveling was The Parking Spot staff in order to detail it. When I returned from my trip, I inspected my truck and noticed the entire back bumper was covered in sand, which was odd since the rest of the truck was nicely waxed and clean. I informed one of the attendants and he wiped away all the sand from my back bumper. When he wiped the sand away I could see many scratches and gouges in my painted bumper. It was obvious something at their lot or the detailing place hit my truck. Seems like something rubbed up against it and made the scratches in both the paint and the plastic cover. I spoke to the manager of the lot before I left, she had the attendant send her the photos and I also sent her an email with details. She said it would be taken care of, apologized for the damage, and said I would hear from their insurance company soon. Fast forward about 1 month, I hear from their claims adjuster, Sedgwick Claims Management Services. They state the following in their letter: "Please understand that our obligation as a third-party administrator is NOT to pay all claims...". I spoke to them and the adjuster said I did not provide any evidence that the damage occurred on their lot. I explained that the parking lot attendant saw the sand and damage to my truck, but he said the information he received from The Parking Spot did not have any evidence that one of their attendants saw the damage and that it was my responsibility to obtain that evidence. I explained that I expected The Parking Spot employees and managers would be honest and ethical when they filed the insurance claim, but that was not the case. I don't have access to their surveillance cameras, the ability to obtain testimony from their employees, etc. Basically, The Parking Spot and their insurance company do not hold themselves responsible for any damage. Their business practices are not ethical and certainly not acceptable. I was not offered a refund from the detailing or parking. I received a call from someone in their corporate office who basically told me they were not going to pay the claim, but they would give me points to park there for 7 days. The total estimated cost of the damage is about $700 according to multiple quotes I received. Apparently The Parking Spot can't afford to pay for $700 worth of damages, that they caused, to a Platinum members vehicle. Suffice it to say....I will never park there again so those points are useless. I do not recommend this location or The Parking Spot. 12/1/2021: Martha, your statement that I told your VP that I didn't think The Parking Spot was responsible is not true. I told your VP that she personally was not responsible for the damage, but the business certainly is. The Parking Spot and it's car wash service drove my truck while I was away in order to wash and detail it so this whole "self park" thing doesn't apply. Your business is unethical and cheap. The damage was caused at your lot. I interviewed the car wash attendant and he confirmed there was no damage to my rear bumper after he waxed my truck. The damage occurred after the waxing and before I picked it up. I am almost certain the damage was caused by someone mowing your lawn. The only thing behind my truck, where it was parked, was grass. I was backed in to a spot, there is absolutely no way another guest did this to my truck, your company is trying to blame it on another guest, which is impossible. read more

I like where you standby your car and they pick you up as well as dropping you back off by your car. Going to and from the airport. When I got back it was pretty late and so felt safe. I parked at the parking spot after they took over Econopark at BWI. The rate is double the cost and the shuttle service is spotty at best. My biggest gripe is the inconsistent rates and the obvious surges during the holidays. I joined the spot club and had days that I wanted to redeem when I checked out. I was told that I could only redeem my days via a reservation. I checked in using the app and my account, so it's not as if my information is not readily available. Everything just seems shady and manipulative. My bill for 10 days was $166! In an uncovered lot AWAY FOR THE AIRPORT! I could pay that and be in a garage with reliable shuttle service AT THE AIRPORT. Even the receipt was shady....I received it via e-mail and it was not itemized to show the daily rate, just the total + tax. Check out their website, good luck trying to find out what their rate is. This was my first time using the parking spot , and the entire experience was a breeze. Making the reservation was straight forward, as well as checking in and out. On the date of arrival as soon as we pulled through the gate to park a shuttle followed us to our spot, assisted us with our bags, then proceeded to drop us at the airport. We returned at 6:30am and surprisingly a shuttle was already waiting in the designated pick up zone , the return was just as smooth as the pick up and our shuttle driver Mr. Charles was a pleasure. The overall cost for 4 days was much cheaper than an Uber , taxi, etc. , I will most definitely be using The Parking Spot any time I travel. read more

They have dramatically improved, the smartphone app worked well, the driver, Latysha (sp?), whom we had both ways, was prompt, friendly, polite and helped us with our bags. I got an awesome deal for this lot for 5 days while I was away. They have 24/7 shuttle service to and from the airport and they always answer the phone when you call them, no matter the time. For some reason after waiting a bit the shuttle didn't come to us as they advertise, and when we walked over the driver confusingly told us they usually pick people up from their cars and radio'd 'just got two walkers, driving over to where they parked' which was odd, but not a big deal there was just a misunderstanding obviously. Their lots are huge so there is plenty of space. All of the staff i've encountered were helpful and friendly. The shuttle driver taking us back dropped us right at our car. For the low price I paid I would definitely choose them again next time I have to fly. read more

I have used this business twice. Both times I have had to wait an extremely long time (25+ mins) for the shuttle to take me to the airport. I almost missed my flight both times due to the wait for their shuttle. Had I used the long term parking lot, this would not have been an issue and parking would have been much cheaper. It's pretty good, but lately, there have been some issues. Pulling in was given a row that didn't have any spots, so the bus didn't know we were there. Waiting for a bus at night (usually, I return on Sundays or Mondays at around midnight) can be painful. Also, since around August of 2017, the price has gone up twice. it went from $8.95/day to $9.50/day to just this week making my reservation it said it's $11.50/day. I just returned Friday 10/27/18 and paid the 9.50/day, two weeks later, a $2/day jump. Not worth it. Quick note, I travel almost every weekend and have been parking at The Parking spot for over a year now. Considering leaving because of these issues. The express lot, that has busses as well from your car is closer to the terminal and $11/day. Please, someone, tell me who is giving TPS guidance to keep raising prices. Again, it's a $2/day price increase which is actually a lot. I am using TPS three out of every 4 weeks, on average. This will add up. I'm moving to the BWI Express lot. read more

Prices have gone up and service has gone down. Since they have taken over the Econo parking lot I have seen a decline in their service namely the shuttle. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon getting to the pickup zone #2 and expected to wait a little while. Then I noticed the shuttle arrives after about ten minutes. Unfortunately it was for the north lot and not the west lot where I parked. The driver of that shuttle advised me to call and I did. The dispatcher advised me that my shuttle with be there in about 5 minutes. During the next 15 minutes I waited I noticed 4 shuttles from a competitive lot came and picked up passengers. I noticed that the advertised price was much cheaper that what I was paying. Back when it was econopark the rewards program seemed to earn free days faster and I rarely waited more that 15 minutes for The price was about two dollars cheaper as well. Over all it's not the worst place to park. The lots are convenient but the lackluster shuttle service makes me want to try the competition. I think my next flight I will try a different lot. read more

I was running late for a flight and had never been to this location before. Google Maps did a good job of getting me there. I called to see how often their shuttles ran. The staff informed me that she would hold a shuttle for me since it was after 9pm after I explained my dilemma. The driver was very informative about the ins and outs of pick up and drop off locations. She was polite and what impressed me the most was she told me exactly what time she would have me dropped off despite the lights and the amount of traffic. Make sure you sign up for the rewards program so you can accumulate your free days. I usually use Park-N-Go, but they are now the Parking Spot at BWI. The points don't carry over, but if you contact them, I'm sure they can assist in some way. read more

10/10 would recommend! Easy and convenient. I landed late at night and was on the bus with two men. The bus driver dropped the men off first and then me last, waited till I loaded my car and started it. It's the little things to help us ladies feel a bit safer. Also cheap and worth it!
