At the time I visited it had about 300 spots available. As you enter, you will notice there are no machines to grab a ticket. The first level seemed to be for a 2-hour max, while the rest of the levels were more than 2 hours. The garage is open 24 hours. There is lots of signage inside so you will know where you are exiting (Grandview Avenue or Wheaton Triangle). You can either take the stairs or elevators. Seems to be 4 or 5 levels (G1 to G4). G is the level you exit on. You pre-pay for your parking ($1 per hour), between 7am to 10pm (Monday to Saturday) either by using the machines or using the app (Parkmobile or Passport Parking). If you use the machine, it provides an explanation on how to use it: Enter your parking space number, estimate the time you are parking for, make your payment (credit card or cash), and then take a receipt. I was not sure whether I should put my receipt in the vehicle or keep it with me. My friend used one of the apps and could extend their time on the app (if needed). I may try the app next time (we'll see).

It was easy to find but there is a garage directly across the street from it that could cause confusi in if you've prepaid. I used the SpotHero app again, paid about $6 to park for 4 hours. The garage doesn't seem all that save, unpatrolled and unsecured. Although the garage interior is brightly lit, the alley it's in is very quiet and empty. The interior of the garage is dated and clearly has seen better days. Navigating to the exit is not very clear-cut given the signage. I would probably not park here again even though it's probably the cheapest you can get in downtown Baltimore.

It was $36, when we asked the attendant why it was so much, he says because it's only $18 if we would've gotten the car between 3-6 PM. I guess I'm giving it 4 stars because the car was still in one piece and nothing was taken but if we come back to Baltimore, I would definitely prefer parking somewhere else.

I have been parking at the big Lexington Market garage for work about 8 years & never had an issue…read more Until Friday, Oct 27, 2023, I went to park on the 3rd level, as usual around 0740. When I returned to my vehicle around 4:40p, my car was vandalized and ransacked. Glass shreds & items in the console were in driver's seat. The drivers side door handle was ajar & window was totally smashed out with a boulder (large brick) thrown through the window, bouncing off, hitting the door panel and back window landing on the passengers side door causing more damage, ending up on the floor. I immediately went to police officer that worked that day & she described my car & stated, the incident happened as soon as I left that morning. She showed me a photo of who she thought was the suspect but was uncertain. She asked me to call the Baltimore police department & report the incident, in which I did immediately. The police stated they could not come out, took the report over the phone & stated that I could leave the garage once the incident was reported. Photos & incident report number was given & photos were sent as requested. To date, nothing was ever done to locate the person that vandalized my vehicle. I was told my an employee that, "Rounds were not made until after 10a that morning, that's when the staff came in to work & realized what happened to my vehicle. As a paying consumer, out of concern & courtesy you would think garage staff would have called. I received no phone call or notification that my car was vandalized, until I got off work & found out by surprise for myself. A couple days went by before speaking with the manager "Micky" inquiring about security, making round to ensure vehicles are safe while parking there & as a paying consumer. I asked about the responsibility of the garage for ensuring incidents like this are minimized. Micky nonchalantly with a smirk stated, "yes, we make to rounds." When asked about the responsibility for damages to my vehicle, he stated "We take no responsibility for incidents such as this. Its the owner's responsibility!" Therefore, "Caution to everyone that parks at Big Lexington Market Parking Garage "Park at your own risk, your responsible for damage incurred. " Better still find a safer garage to park, where there's police & security presence around the clock to deter incidents such as this from occurring in the first place. Poor customer service at its best. I don't want to see this happen to anyone!

My first time parking near Lexington Market headed to a business meeting and I was referred to this garage as the easiest place to park near my appointed destination. True, it was right around the corner! Enter the garage and you are given a yellow coin...ok, no paper ticket, that has to be good for the environment. I'd never used this method and in typical fashion left the item (just like I would with a paper ticket) in my car and went on to my meeting. Following the meeting I went back to the door I exited the garage only to find that I could not enter....yep, you guessed it....I needed the coin to access. Ok, no worries...I walked around the garage and figured I could just walk in where I entered with my car. There was an office, there were people in the officce....they were all too happy to help. They unlocked a side door for me, I hopped the elevator and got to my car lickety-split. Exiting I just dropped my coin in the electronic stand and zipped my credit card and was on my merry way. Thank you Parking Garage staff for your help, as I'm sure you encounter others like me that don't pay attention to the giant yellow signs that say "Did you forget to take your COIN with you?" - that you notice ON YOUR WAY OUT....LOL

The entrance is not 101 S Calvert St as the Spothero app says; it's 110 S Calvert St. I ended up entering and then exiting because I thought I was in an adjacent lot but I was in the right one. There is a lot going on in this lot. It's definitely safe (well lit, lots of camera, pedestrians walking). The signage was clear, there's EV parking, there is a soda machine, and there are elevators and staircases. I'd park here again. It was $12 and some change to prepay for a spot.

This garage is the one that is on the Dawson's Market side of Rockville Town Center…read more There is an open air parking lot component that is right in front of Dawson's Market's front door: The way you pay here has changed 30 different times. So you're gonna have to check cause it changes nearly every other week. *First they had a machine where you would enter the number spot and you would pay for how much time you'd like. *Then they had meters where you would just pay with money. *Then they had meters where you would press a button and get 2 free hours, and if you didn't get back before those 2 hours expired, you'd get a ticket. But I'm assuming people were just going back and continually pressing the button. *Then they took the meters out. *Then they put the meters back in. *Then COME ON people... just choose a parking payment method. There's a ramp that goes up to resident parking, but there is also a ramp down where you can park underground. The underground lot is like 50 percent spots that say "Dawsons Market" on them. Which is funny cause, they are never full, much like Dawson's market. I like to go down to there, because the underground has been consistent since day 1 on how you pay. When you enter the underground lot, you get a ticket at a gate. That ticket can be scanned by pretty much the entire shopping center and you get 2 free hours. Past that, you pay at a payment station with the ticket. Not a lot of people park on this side of the Town Center. People usually park in garages A or B over near American Tap Room, which used to be Austin Grill, which used to be... I can't remember at this point... some Mexican place? It would be nice if the parking methods didn't flip as much as the restaurants in the town center. The person who runs both must be as incredibly indecisive as I am ;).

Second, this place offers the best deal: $8 per day if you enter before 8 am or $10 thereafter. Monthly parking is $120 (compared with $220 in Penn Station's garage) or you can get an assigned spot on the first floor for $150.
