I was told by a salesperson at the store that you can order balloons online at Michaels, and bring them in for inflation with helium. I assumed that Michaels works the same way as a grocery store selling and filling their balloons for the cost of the balloon itself. I thus ordered balloons for a baby shower from the Michaels' website. However, upon bringing them in for inflation, I was told by the manager that Michaels sold this set of 10 mylar heart balloons through a third party. Michaels will only inflate these third-party balloons for $3.00 a piece. This makes a simple mylar balloon cost now $6 each. The Michaels website reads: "Order online and pick up your pre-inflated balloons in store." They do NOT mention that inflation with helium is a hefty separate charge, or let you know that they do NOT inflate for free all of the ones they sell on the Michaels website. To compensate me as this is not a clear policy on their website, they gave me a $15 gift card towards the cost of the $30 helium charge. My advice: save your money and go elsewhere for balloons!

This store is attached to Bath & Body Works and they seem to be owned by the same company. I'm usually someone who looks for candles at Walmart or in the home section of Marshalls, but next time I run out of them I may splurge on one from here. This store had an abundance of decent sized candles for $12.50. The scents were truly amazing and they had such a nice selection too! In addition to candles, they also offer candle holders. I like that they also offer holiday themed candles. Employees were friendly and asked if I needed help. Nice spot to check out if you are a candle fanatic.

They've split their services into 2 sites; the one on Barrett Street focuses more on costume rentals. My visit wasn't for a costume but more for make-up and accessories for a costume, but let me tell you, the costume selection for purchase here is outstanding, taking up a large portion of this larger-than-before site. My purpose here was to seek make-up and accessories, of which they again have a giant inventory. I received great service here. I told them exactly what I was seeking, and within minutes I was given demonstrations and samples of exactly what I wanted - super easy, super fun. When you come here, read all the signs on the doors to find the entrance, as a lot of the doors are locked. The entrance you want is "upstairs" in the back, against the parking lot, the rightmost of all available doors. I was very glad to have re-discovered this store!

For many years I ordered Muffin and Fruit Baskets as gifts from Lindsey's Country Store, I would…read moreorder at Thanksgiving for businesses I dealt with through the year as a thank you for their exceptional service, at Christmas as gifts for friends. When they closed, I frantically looked for a replacement company. I thought I had found it in One of a Kind Gift! I first ordered 3 baskets, 1 for a Business, 2 for friends, all three for Thanksgiving. I later ordered 2 for a business at Christmas, this business had limited hours the week these baskets were to be delivered, I gave specific delivery instructions with the open times of this business in order to have the baskets delivered successfully. I called A One of a Kind Gift after Christmas to see if the 2 baskets had been delivered... I was told no, they were unable to accomplish delivery, but could send as New Years, etc... I declined that offer and said just leave the amount for those baskets as credit on my account, I'd use later. Meantime I had received thank yous from the two friends who had received baskets at Thanksgiving, but not the business...and since I had been sending to them yearly, this was unusual. I had occasion to speak with the office manager of that business in the spring, and asked if they had received the basket at Thanksgiving...she said they had not! I immediately went to A One of a Kind Gift and asked them what was going on and what they intended to do about this non- delivery! Well...we use the operators from the answering service business next door...they said it was delivered! But, have no signature or confirmation of same... So, I was out of luck for the over $100. Basket I purchased that was never delivered. I then asked for a refund of the two baskets they had not been able to deliver at Christmas... Sherry was not able to do this, she said it was a new machine, but she'd take care of it... Long story short on that credit...it never happened, instead my credit card was charged again! I called and asked Sherry to take care of it. Again never happened, I called the credit card company and had the charge taken off my account, I never received the credit! So... now I'm out over $200. For 3 baskets I purchased that were never delivered, 2 that A One of a Kind admits to, but never issued the credit. I sent her a certified registered letter demanding refunds for the 3 baskets, stating I'd take her to Small Claims, hire an attorney, use Social Media, etc... no response. So... I went to Small Claims Court... I filed a claim against Sherry's Kitchen? A One of a Kind Gift, in the amount of $217.06 on 12/16/20, I had given them a year to make good on the undelivered baskets. We got a court date of Mar 3, 2021... I was there... no representative from A One of a Kind Gift bothered to show up... The Judge issued a Judgement against them in the amount of $232.06, and an Information Subpoena was served upon the business. The Small Claims visits and orders have been going on now for over a year, culminating with a Bench Warrant issued for Sherry, ofcourse no one will be going out to serve this warrant, but you'd think a business woman wouldn't want this Black Mark on her name or Business to be out there. I guess she just doesn't care about her customers! I would never order from them again... Their products are delicious and beautifully presented, but I had no luck with this business... Nor the owner, Sherry Lindsey!
