They are consistently efficient at having product ready on time, their product knowledge is comprehensive and has made me a better painter, and after years of working with them, I've never had anything but exceptional, supportive experiences. Tristan is always up to any paint challenge I have, has solid, super helpful product recommendations and obviously considers customer care in every transaction.. plus, he's the best paint color-match professional I've ever run into; he is one of the primary reasons why I am now a faithful Sherwin Williams customer. Trent makes everything easier with my account and has always been gracious and professional, and Lauren is the best phone person Ive run into in yeas..always cheerful, she follows up on every commitment she makes. I very rarely write reviews, but I also very rarely run into businesses that are this consistent in their service, product, knowledge, and professionalism. Plus they're super fun. I'll never go anywhere else. I strongly recommend them.

We've had a very negative experience with Gallatin Valley Furniture and would not recommend them to…read moreanyone, especially for window treatments. We worked with Paul and ordered our Hunter Douglas window treatments in advance to ensure they could be installed once we moved into our new home. Paul took the measurements himself and assured us everything was perfect (we had to rely on his word given we lived in another state). The blinds were installed today and they're the wrong dimensions. They're externally mounted, which is what we wanted - but they don't reach the end of the trim on the bottom or the right sides. Gallatin Valley Furniture has offered to re-measure and replace the window treatments, however, they have not extended a discount for the inconvenience. Given we spent $13,000.00 on window treatments and expected them to be perfect when installed today, this is completely unacceptable. It's bad business. We've pulled our order, requested a refund, and will be working with another vendor for both this home and our new build. We prefer to work with a vendor who values our business.

Well, okay. What can you say about a hardware store? Does anyone really not know what to expect?…read more With that said, when it comes to Ace Hardware stores, they're much smaller than those big box behemoths and for that reason I prefer them. Sometimes all I need are some nails, bird feed, a key made, a screen-repair kit, charcoal for the grill, or something similar, and I don't want to walk through 6 blocks of store (ok, that's an exaggeration, but you know what I mean) to pick up one or two items. And trying to find someone to help? Forget it. Even before the pandemic it was a crap-shoot. I only have so many minutes in my life. Nope. Not spending them like that. On the other hand, Ace Hardware always has a friendly employee who won't just point me in a general direction, but often will actually walk with me to wherever it is. This Ace Hardware is no exception. It's not out on the main street, it's on the side street near the freeway and doesn't have any of the large signs, so it's obviously focused on locals. That should be (and is) a selling point for all these neighborhood Ace Hardware stores. Small towns and small town hardware stores are such time savers and really have their large-size competitors beat for personal interactions.
