We enjoyed a chicken parmigiana and a lasagna. Food and wine was nice but nothing outstanding. Perhaps a little on the pricey side. Service was excellent and plenty of parking available at the rear. Worth a visit if you are in the area and like Italian food.

We were quickly seated near the windows, which we requested online if they recommended it. It was relatively quiet despite the seven occupied tables, including two larger groups. Service was prompt, and the waitstaff were friendly. Our food arrived within 25 minutes of ordering, not bad for the dishes we ordered. The paella was competent, with half a Moreton Bay Bug sitting on the tasty mix of rice, chicken and chorizo. I could have asked for more chorizo and perhaps an extra minute of softening the rice, but it is good value for the price. I've come to enjoy a good paella over the years, and I'd rate this one 3/5. My wife went for the porterhouse steak, and found it more medium than the medium-rare she requested. She rates it Average yet good value. On a higher note, the desserts were very good, both the sticky date and the Toblerone cheesecake. As we were eating we thought: we really should ask what the restaurant does well, and not just go for what we think looks good on the menu. Mental note for any future restaurant visits!

The atmosphere inside was great, and we were greeted by The Boss, who was a four? year old Natalia. She seemed very shy, but was adorable. Been back many times since and every time the food is beautiful. The mains are great, but the best part is the pizza's. The large sized woodfired pizza's were around $12-$15 each and you could easily share one pizza between two people. Also, if you don't finish it, they are happy to put it in a box for you to take home. It's a great place to go with friends and have some drinks and pizza.

Also they have recently changed back to their wood fired pizza oven, which is a nice touch. If you order a take-away pasta, it is quite tasty and is probably a large enough serve for 2 people. I have rated them 5 stars because I would not say they are the absolute best food & restaurant I have ever been to, however they are still quite good and exceptional value. The car park out the front is usually quite full, and I think this is an indication of how much the locals know it is a good thing. Also every time I have been there the staff have been really friendly and a pleasure to talk with. Worth checking out if you want decent food, good service and good value for money!

Montano's Patisserie - The eggs were pretty small and overcooked. You can see that they lost a lot of the egg white.

Serving this in such a stylish place is pretty disappointing. No butter on the toast, either. Desserts were decent, but for the price and presentation, the basics should be much better. TV on wall showing music videos but the customers don't seem interested in it. The place certainly looks clean and inviting in a slightly cramped clinical sort of way. The tables are small but should comfortably fit four adults but not much wiggle room around them would really limit you to three I think. The mug of Flat White is a good size and is nice and hot with a good flavour, the chai latte tastes nice but having never tried it before, I have no reference to compare it to. Certainly nice enough for me to try again. There are a plethora of items to choose from to eat. I had a delicious roast beef and salad with cheese and lovely mustard with my choice of roll, a great combination of flavours and textures. The tandoori wrap was a delight but bordered on the edge of being to hot. Then you cast your eye over a sheer symphony of delightful desserts, a masterpiece of items to get your taste buds jumping up and down with delicious anticipation. How do you decide from such a selection, can you stop at just one or do you flee to save that waist line you've sacrificed so much for. Of course you get a couple of things promising yourself to work that bit harder next time at the Gym. Enjoy, it's the little pleasures in life that add up you know. So, will I drag myself reluctantly back here. You better believe it, especially now I can afford it since cancelling that pesky gym membership. Oh oh, there goes that waist line Back to reality for a moment, there were two uninvited guests at my table today, a legacy of the open door policy, Mr Mozzy and Mrs Blowy. Other than that, a really nice little place with very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Enjoy.

As the Urban sprawl envelopes the area, it's only logical that the demand for places like The Firehouse would pop up, and from what I've seen, the place is in high demand. Every time I have been here it has been fully booked up, and deservedly so. The food is fantastic, the service is quite good, and the menu boasts dishes you won't find anywhere else in Ringwood. For an experience such as this however, there is a cost. The Firehouse is also one of the most expensive places to eat in the area, with a lunch consisting of one meal, one drink and a coffee chalking up an easy $40. I was there last week, and had the omelette for lunch, with a beer and a coffee. The omelette was sensational, full of Italian cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Not oily or overly salty, it was a good lunch size and left room for me to check out the superb dessert menu. With a group of 8 of us, I must note that the service was great until the desserts came out, and we were given another tables order. This left a couple of us with no dessert, and the staff were forced to come and apologize, then leave those without dessert waiting until well after the rest of us were finished until they received theirs. We were compensated with free coffee though, which was nice.
