The people were friendly but the place was dark small and dumpy. No outside light gets in at all. I was given a food menu but I was just in for drinks. This is way off the beaten path and can't be seen from the street. It's in the back end of a strip mall and has no street view. For a sports bar every one was talking food so I asked for the best breakfast place in town and I was totally miss lead by the bar tender who gave me false information about the restaurant where he also works. Breakfast was a let down and nothing like he stated so I was disappointed when I could have went elsewhere like planed.

It's an out-of-the-way bar and restaurant but don't miss this jewel! In fact, go out of your way. I ordered the broiled cod in a wine butter sauce with a side of skewered shrimp and baked potato. It also came with cole slaw and rye bread with butter. The fish is served on a hot plate and when the broiled cod is plated with the wine butter sauce, it seers in the flavor and gives the very light breading a nice texture without losing the buttery goodness. I didn't finish my iced tea but they have the coolest juice pouches for drinks to go Hubby ordered the beer battered cod with all the same sides. The cod is fried crispy without being greasy. The service is outstanding and it's got a cool jive with plenty of tables for families and kids. We've been twice now and could totally make this the only place we'll have Friday fish. Our server was the same both visits and we noticed she gets to know her customers by their favorites.

The perch plate tasted delicious and came with a choice of potato, bread and coleslaw. The price was very fair as well. The only thing that we didn't like was the loud drunk couple at the table behind us. He was clearly a "regular" which he was sure to let everyone in the place know. The next time we go we will sit on the opposite side of the restaurant which will hopefully be quieter on a Friday night. After a long week of work the last thing I wanna hear is a loud drunk guy. I know it's not the bar and grills fault, but it was loud enough that something should have been said. I couldn't wait to leave and enjoy the quiet of our car. The interior is your typical country bar and the menu is traditional Wisconsin.

The last time I was here, it was the starting point for a drunken hayride through the area with a larger group of friends. The bar itself is small, but it has enough seats for a large group. The beer is standard for the area, not much beyond Bud, Bud Light, etc. They have a small liquor selection that gets the job done, though it's not impressive by any means. If anything impressed me, it was the fact that you can buy microwavable pork rinds here. If that doesn't tell you what to expect when you get here, nothing I can write about it will. In short, this place is a watering hole for good people who live in the area and readily welcome others into their circle. I'd come back here anytime, even though most of what it has to offer would leave me wanting. You come here for the people. The beer, food, and atmosphere are all accents for them.
