They actually have a cool little cafe inside Parrish Healthcare Center. They also had this phenomenal piece of artwork hanging from the ceiling in the cafe area. This building is really cool. It looks like it was built in the 90's but it turns out that it was actually built in 2007. A gentleman called me back shortly after I arrived for my CT scan appointment. In the room with the CT scan machine, the gentleman who walked me back, introduced himself as Donavan, my X-Ray Technician. Unfortunately Donavan could not find a vein in order to hook me up to an IV, so that he could inject my arm with the solution that they use to complete the CT scan. I told Donavan that they usually use a special sonogram machine, on my arms, in order to start an IV. Donavan said that he didn't have a machine like the one that was needed to start an IV on me. He said that he would have to send me over to Imaging department at Parrish Medial Center Hospital, for my CT scan, because they are the only ones who would have the machine that is needed to run my IV. Donovan excused himself to go into the other room, so he could make a phone call to the Imaging department at Parrish Medical Center Hospital. After Donavan returned, he apologized for not being able to complete my CT scan that day. He said that he called the Imaging Center, at Parrish Medical Center Hospital, and that they can take me for my CT Scan right away. We said our goodbyes, and then I left the health center and immediately went over the Imaging department at Parrish Medical Center Hospital.

After being sedated, he came to talk to me, and stated, "This wont take long, I just did one in 15 minutes" Well his speed must be more important to him than quantity, im much worse and always in pain and 4 of my fingers are stiff and it hurts to bend them. When I said we had BC/BS she got huffy and confrontational because I didn't specify the plan type, but she really didn't give me the chance. If you're going to have someone answering your phones as your first line of customer service, please have someone who is good with people, personable and patient. Not someone who is clearly impatient and condescending. This Orthopedic Center was actually recommended - and within seconds of calling I was so turned off that I couldn't possibly want to go there. Staff is super friendly and always happy to help. In addition to chiropractic care the have acupuncture, massage, nutrition coaching and health products. PT Professional provides outstanding care with one-on-one attention. Prior to going to PT Professionals I had been going to a different physical therapy group on Merritt Island. PT Professionals is so superior to this other group. I have been treated by several of the therapist and all have been very professional and skilled. Normally Chardae is my therapist. She is very caring and knowledgeable therapist and I always feel much better after a session. She is extremely knowledgeable of the various physical therapy techniques. I most recently have been treated after surgery on my shoulder. PT treatment started the day after the surgery. She has me perform various exercises to strengthen the shoulder. She manipulates the shoulder to allow for more range of motion. My favorite acitivity is when she massages the shoulder. It feels so amazing. She knows just what to do to make the shoulder feel better. She is a very skilled and professional therapist. While having treatment I have watched while therapist provide other patients therapy. They customize the treatment around the patients problems and abilities. Over time I have seen these other patients continually improve. Pressing down on herniated disc -- Dr. Teimouri assured me that I did not have disc problems and then proceeded to press down between my shoulders. An mri later found that I have a herniated disc precisely there. I think the lesson here is to make sure you have an accurate diagnosis with an orthopedic dr before proceeding with chiropractic care. 2. Unprofessional and pushy -- they strongly discouraged me from seeing a physical therapist at all for a few weeks. Thankfully I went to see a physical therapist anyways who accurately predicted that I have a disc issue. When I called suntree chiropractic to let them know that I wanted to discontinue my care until I had an mri, Tricia Gray was very unprofessional and snippy. She didn't even let me talk and just lectured me about how physical therapy was going to make me worse and that other chiropractors would worsen my problem. I was planning to return, but they lost a client because of her behavior. Thankfully she was wrong and physical therapy has eliminated most of my pain and I continue improving. They were also a couple other issues that gave me the impression that they lacked professionalism. Bottom line, I personally did not feel comfortable here. I felt like they tried to scare me into staying and were incredibly pushy.
