They have a ton of specialty flavors that rotate, but the staples are always available. I've recently taken a liking to the Malt Amore flavor, myself. They have unique sundaes and milkshakes as well, and they recently started stocking Boylan Bottling Co sodas too! I can't recommend this local business enough. If you're in town, this is a great stop. One final note- if you're worried about parking, Pat's is located directly next to a free public parking garage and a public lot.

It is always very colorful inside the shop and they do have seating options. Sometimes the amount of options can be overwhelming so make sure you take your time to review all of the options before ordering. They also have cookies in addition to cupcakes and you can order cakes ahead of time. I recommend you go earlier as they don't replace the flavors that sell out for the day.

From the buttery graham cracker crust to the rich, creamy filling and that bright cherry on top, every bite was a sweet little moment of joy. The flavor was spot on--sweet but not overly sugary, and the texture was perfectly smooth. Presentation is a big win here too. The dessert came tucked into a cute little box that made it feel like opening a gift. You can tell there's real thought put into how they serve their treats. The only reason this isn't a full 5 stars? The wait was just a bit longer than expected, and we would've loved more variety available at the time we visited. But honestly, that cheesecake alone was worth it. Whether you're strolling downtown or just craving something sweet, Designer Desserts is a fun and flavorful stop worth it

I would have enjoyed the lovely patio, but it also looked like it was about to rain! Our server was very nice and gave some excellent recommendations. Instead of chips and salsa, we were served their potato flautas. It was a nice change of pace. I usually fill up on chips and salsa and can't finish my main entree. For the table, my brother ordered a house special entree - Mariscada Valero's - which is a variety of sautéed seafood served with tortillas. It was perfect for sharing with our four person group. For my main dish, I ordered the skirt steak tacos with coconut rice on the side. I love coconut and I love rice. Who knew they go together so well! The skirt steak was cooked perfectly. I had my leftovers for breakfast and the skirt steak was still tender! I did try the lobster tacos (my sister-in-law's favorite). They were yummy - although a bit spicy. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it! Overall, we were really happy with everything. I will definitely make it a point to come here on my next visit!

The salad came with a lemon garlic dressing on the side, which I didn't pour over the salad, but instead dipped forkfuls lightly into the cup. The salad was huge! There was no way I could finish it, and I didn't. But it was satisfying and made my body feel oh-so good, the way that a body feels good when eating whole foods. Roots Market Cafe has a lot of nourishing options here. I had a hard time choosing what to get, because they have so many tasty-sounding options. Most (all?) of the menu is either vegetarian or vegan, and they offer salads, wraps, smoothies, juices, and a selection of baked goods. This place is also a little market! You can find fresh produce here -- I saw sweet potatoes, broccoli, zucchini, ginger root, bananas, pineapple, berries and other things. They also sell alternative milks, mushroom coffee, organic eggs, kimchi, vegan snacks, and things I have never seen, like vegan marshmallows and vegan marshmallow cream. Who knew that existed? I got my salad to go, but they have a dining room where you can sit and stay a while. The dining room is separate from the market and ordering counter, and is located in an entirely different room.

The hummus was extremely watery--more like a soup consistency than the thick, creamy hummus I expected. It made it difficult to enjoy with the vegetables or chips. Speaking of the platter, for something labeled "party size," there were surprisingly very few vegetables included. Instead, it came with a large amount of chips. I was also expecting multigrain chips based on the photo but they were just plain tortilla chips, which wasn't what I had in mind. The Good Mojo juice itself tasted good, although it was served warm rather than chilled. Overall, for the amount I spent, I had much higher hopes for the quality and portion balance of what I was getting. It just didn't feel like the value matched the price.

They were out of multiple toppings--no cherries, no peanut butter, and more--which limited our options. I ordered a strawberry sundae with marshmallow and hot fudge, but it was a huge letdown. There was absolutely no marshmallow, only two small strawberry pieces, and barely a drizzle of chocolate. My son's kids cone was oversized and lopsided, making a massive mess because the chocolate shell didn't even cover the seam, so the cone kept tipping over. My husband's peppermint chocolate shake was decent, but it didn't make up for the rest of the disappointing experience. Definitely won't be coming back anytime soon.
