A person holds a cone with several scoops of ice cream featuring different flavors, including chocolate, vanilla, and possibly cookies and cream. The ice cream is stacked high, with some scoops showing swirls and chunks. The background includes a wooden table and an orange booth, indicating a casual dining or ice cream shop setting.

I had a junior stacked chocolate obsession ice cream cone. I don't like most of the rainbow flavors so I like that they have a few other variations that you can choose from. The flavors are: chocolate, cookies & cream, chocolate peanut butter swirl, and big muddy. My favorites were the cookies & cream and Chocolate peanut butter swirl. It didn't seem like you could deviate from their predetermined flavors. Which didn't make complete sense to me because what if I just want two flavors stacked? Wouldn't that be easier and why does it matter? My son had the Superman kids cone because he liked the tie dye colors. I appreciate the cone holders they use.

A cup of multi-flavored ice cream with pastel colors including green, pink, yellow, and brown, served in a clear plastic cup. The ice cream appears to have different flavors swirled together, with some areas showing a smooth texture and others slightly melted. The cup is placed on a wooden table, and a lid is visible in the background. The setting suggests an ice cream shop or casual dining environment.

So thrilled to see a rainbow cone open up in Darien! Grabbed a pint to go and it was just as delicious as I remembered. If you're an ice cream lover this is a must try!

Haha a Rainbow Cone. That goes way back. Who hasn't had a Rainbow Cone before? Ok I'm sure they are out there, but seriously you've nerve had one? I'm not even sure if there is anything else on the menu. Even if there is, who gets something else? Can I tell you how many different flavors are in a Rainbow Cone? No. Can I tell you the history of Rainbow Cone? Nope. I can tell you the original location is on Western Ave just north of 95th across from the golf course. There are now locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Make sure to grab a Rainbow Cone the next time you are at your favorite baseball park on the south side, watching your Chicago White Sox. A Rainbow Cone is a must it doesn't matter where or when. This location inside of Buona Beef is conveniently located and a great treat after another Chicago tradition a dipped Italian beef with giardiniera. After a meal before a meal or on it's own a Rainbow Cone is a must.

Rainbow cone - Two people are holding large rainbow-colored ice cream sandwiches on cones. One person wears a black shirt with white text, and the other wears a sports jersey with red, black, and white colors. The ice cream sandwiches have multiple layers of different colored ice creams, resembling a rainbow. The background is dark, suggesting an outdoor or evening setting.

Never had anything like this before!!!! 5 completely different flavors combined in a cone resembling a rainbow. If you get bored of a flavor just move on to the next!

a person holding a donut - The image shows a colorful outdoor sign for Rainbow Cone ice cream shop, with horizontal stripes in orange, green, yellow, pink, and dark purple. The sign displays the quote, "Life's too short for just one flavor," in large, bold letters. In the foreground, a person holds a waffle cone with three scoops of ice cream in different colors, partially out of focus. The setting appears to be outside, with some greenery and stone paving visible at the bottom.

First time visit and I did the popular rainbow cone. REALLY good... especially the palmer house and pistachio! Cute outdoor sitting area.

The tiniest $4 scoop of ice cream I've ever seen. - A clear plastic cup with a ridged design around the rim holds a small quantity of orange-colored liquid. The cup is positioned on a gray marble surface, and the photo is taken from above, showing the contents and the surface texture.

I don't understand the hype but my kids enjoyed it. They have an outdoor seating area and are attached to a food place.

After Buona Beef completed their renovations at this location, to our surprise a Rainbow Cone store also opened on premises.

To me, It looked like bad ice milk. I was told that the machines were just filled and it needs time to freeze. I thought it looked disgusting! I suggested that perhaps she should put a sign on that machine. Then I asked what other machines have this problem? She said she had no idea because she just got into work. I filled a cup with the toasted marshmallow "frozen yogurt" I proceeded to add the toppings and spend about eight bucks. I took it to go. When I ate it, it was just awful! It was melting into a water substance. It wasn't even the substance of a sorbet or ice milk. I was expecting creamy yogurt and it for sure was not that and tasted awful. Threw it out. I plan on calling the management tomorrow and asking for a refund. I don't know how they can possibly be open for business serving food like this. It's almost seemed like it was mixed wrong with the incorrect proportions. Or perhaps the freezers inside the machines are not properly working? Or perhaps they might have just filled all the machines and it did not have time to properly freeze? Whatever the reason it shouldn't be happening. I do agree with the other reviews. In my opinion, the place looks very dirty and unkept. I should've listened to my gut and just left after I noticed the first machine splattering out such a watery product. In my opinion: don't go. I will not be back ever again. There are so many better options.
