When I found out that my cataracts were going to have to be removed, I searched out a new…read morepractitioner. My first criteria was that they were associated with Wills Eye Care. After some on-line research, I made an appointment with Dr. Cutney and was 100% satisfied with her knowledge and the caring demeanor of she and her staff. Two surgeries later, I live in a crystal clear world without the need for glasses that I have worn for over 60 years! Dr. Cutney is an awesome surgeon who truly cares and that is a rare combination. Plus, Jennifer and Rosemary are top shelf. Hope you never need her services, but if you do, do not hesitate for a minute!

I'm very disappointed with how this office handled my child's visit. This was our second trip…read morebecause the first visit did not include the testing we were told was needed. At this appointment, we were informed after arriving that only one of two scheduled tests would be done, that the doctor was not even in the office, and that results would require yet another visit with another copay. We also learned that no glasses prescription could be provided because refraction was not done -- which makes the purpose of the "eye exam" unclear. This lack of transparency wasted our time (40-minute drive, day off work) and money. If your office requires multiple visits and copays for what many practices complete in one day, that should be clearly communicated before scheduling.

I had the worst experience yesterday with Dr. Uretsky. I will never go back to see that man again…read more I had just come from my ocularist appointment of having my prosthetic eye molded. I had my left eye enucleated (completely removed) in March. The ocularist had recommended that I go see my primary eye doctor, which is Dr. Uretsky's office., because my eye socket was red, irritated, itching, and painful. I waited for 2 hours in Dr. Uretsky's waiting room. Finally, the nurse came and got me. Then Dr. Uretsky told me to sit back down in the waiting room as he interrogated the nurse on why I was there and why I had been waiting for 2 hours to see him. She explained everything to him with his nasty, horrible attitude and demeanor. First, he said he wasn't going to see me because it was the end of the day and I was a walk-in. Then he decided he would look at my eye. He brings me back to the room. Asking me why I didn't go back to the surgeon who removed my eye. I explained that the surgeon was two hours North of us and I didn't want to make that trip and that Uretsky and his associates were my primary eye doctor so that's why I was there. He looks in my eye socket and then tells me that he "hasn't done one of these in over 30 years and that I need to come back tomorrow to see his associate". To which I was glad to take him up on because again his attitude was just awful and terrible and nasty!!! Even the nurses and receptionist couldn't believe how rude and nasty he was being and they kept apologizing for his behavior. I believe this man needs to retire and close up shop. I will be seeking a new primary eye doctor now because I will no longer support this man's practice. He doesn't belong in patent care. He belongs in a nursing home. I left so appalled by his behavior.
