very pleasant but pushy, my husband bought a pair of glasses waited about two weeks for his trifocals. They did not work him and they change them. We're not talking about a small amount of money. It's around $400.. He asked if they could just put his old ones back and they refused. We how he was constantly in the of the lens. They said no it was perfect. read more

In my experience, the customer service at Point Optical could not have been better. The entire staff, including Dr. Levine were exceptional and accommodating. Briefly, I needed new glasses and had an old prescription in hand. Long story short, they fit me into the schedule for a new eye exam (honestly, which I needed) which was very thorough and showed my prescription needed an update. While they didn't have my favorite brand available, they had a good selection of alternatives. I was able to select a new frame and lenses in little time and very happy with the purchase. Also, I wasn't exactly sure of my vision coverage which they were able to find easily and provide me with options. The entire staff were each very helpful and made the experience so much more pleasant. I'm new to the area and visited a couple optical stores prior, including America's Best in Somers Point which seemed to have little interest in any customer service - the person at the desk told me to look around and then went on break - 25 minutes later I walked out and luckily found Point Optical. read more

Dr. Levine and staff are hands down the best optometry office in NJ. Friendly, helpful, honest and generous! I always feel well cared for and confident that my new glasses look great! But today they went above and beyond! I lost a very hard to replace unique eyeglass nose pad and they provided me a set for no charge. I highly recommend Point Optical to everyone! read more

This office is antiquated and slow. The receptionist Susan is down right rude. As someone who works with people on a daily basis, I am baffled at how she stays employed. I would not waste any time or money here. read more

Twice this office has saved us while we were enjoying time at the shore. The first was a few years back when I had forgotten my contacts. The most recent was labor day weekend. My daughter was visiting from college and complaining of irritation in her eyes. I did not want to send her back to school without seeing someone but we only had Friday to make that happen. Dr Levine squeezed her in and was able to diagnose and correct the problem. The entire office staff is very friendly, warm, and caring. While we were there, one of the staff members took new eyeglasses out to an elderly patient waiting in the car to make sure they fit correctly! I would highly recommend Point Optical. They appeared to have a nice glasses selection as well. read more
