Last minute (semi-urgent) appointment for ongoing eye issue no problem (granted this is early post-season) 2. Staff was very friendly and helpful (if not a bit overwhelmed) 3. Dr Miller was fantastic. Friendly and assertive - **and very patient** - walked through every step and even pulled up images to show what he was seeing His prognosis was astute and thoughtful, and prescription clear and thorough. (clearly someone who has "seen" it all) Although the medication was the same, the course of treatment was slightly different and (IMHO) more considered toward a solution. They told me that I had to see an eye surgeon and gave me several references. The closest office to where I was staying was the office of Horizon Eye Care in Ocean City. I will always be thankful for my choice. Even though this happened during a weekend and the pandemic, the office staff at Horizon Eye Care was excellent in getting me in safely and quickly contacting one of the eye surgeons. The doctor examined and treated me with care and compassion, carefully explaining everything he was doing. I will now schedule my yearly eye exams at Horizon Eye Care, another reason to vacation in South Jersey.

Why on earth would you take walk in's if you make people wait so long to have an appointment. Briefly, I needed new glasses and had an old prescription in hand. Long story short, they fit me into the schedule for a new eye exam (honestly, which I needed) which was very thorough and showed my prescription needed an update. While they didn't have my favorite brand available, they had a good selection of alternatives. I was able to select a new frame and lenses in little time and very happy with the purchase. Also, I wasn't exactly sure of my vision coverage which they were able to find easily and provide me with options. The entire staff were each very helpful and made the experience so much more pleasant. I'm new to the area and visited a couple optical stores prior, including America's Best in Somers Point which seemed to have little interest in any customer service - the person at the desk told me to look around and then went on break - 25 minutes later I walked out and luckily found Point Optical.
