They remember you (Ok, so we might be in their computers but Leslie laughed as she helped me pick my glasses saying she did the same thing 8 years ago.). Since they are one outlet in a national chain you might think that they'd not have the best in technology but they do! One of the benefits of this outstanding eye care facility being part of a national chain are the sales they offer, the insurance they accept, and the many frame options to choose from! Every single staff member was friendly and willing to answer any and every question that I had. The eye examination process took less time than I had expected (I made the reservation online and was taken when I arrived.). As noted above, I have always needed help in choosing the right frames when shopping for glasses. Leslie saw me struggling and rushed to my side giving her opinion of various frames until I found the two I liked the most. I don't know if all Visionworks locations are as customer-focused as this one but every family member who goes here leaves absolutely satisfied!

Bad attitudes, rushing customers out of the door. One of the members of staff kept reminding everyone that she wanted to leave on time. Basically saying I was taking tooo long. Absolutely ridiculous! Second interaction, my husband went in to get his glasses and when he tried them on they were not correctly done. He stated that they weren't correct. Then the gentleman at the front ( he was Caucasian with a piercing in his nose) was EXTREMELY rude and not listening to him AT ALL. This staff member was trying to force my husband to see another doctor. When my husband specifically said that the proscription was fine. It was the glasses that were made wrong. This staff member didn't care, he was condescending and over-talking. Then the staff member wanted to process a refund after my husband said he would be fine with them remaking the glasses. Staff member said no they can't do that. Unfortunately, my husband left the store without glasses and was forced into a refund. Hmmm this is interesting considering what you state on your website: VisionWorks 100-DAY GUARANTEE CHANGED YOUR MIND? CHANGE YOUR GLASSES Also how you state: Visionworks Doctors of Optometry in Mays Landing, NJ offers eye care for the whole family; exams, glasses, & contacts. Committed to quality & customer satisfaction. Doesn't seem as if any of this was acknowledged nor the policies were followed during these situations. Seems like you need to hire people who actually CARE about your customers and represent your place of business well. Eye care is important and to be taken lightly.

Without saying hi or anything, she was just looking at me and wait for me to say. I told her I need to pick up my glass. She asked me for my name and order me to sit down. I then stepped to the administration desk to ask about an upcoming appointment. Few minutes later she came out and loudly demand me to come over her table. I politely said: "Give me a minute, I'm making an appointment." with a bullying and unpleasant tone, she order : "do this first and you can do that later." she actually brought back my memories when my mom ordered me around when I was a child. the administrator is also not pleasant either. I paid over $500 dollars for the glass And what did I do wrong to deserve this? disrespectful manner from staff who is unfairly rushing me around like that. I am 5-10 years older than most of them, even though I looks like 10 years younger than my age. doesn't matter how old customers are, where they are coming from. A tall blonde thin girl with glasses in the optical dept. waited on me. She became very annoyed and agitated when I asked her to tighten the glasses. They were better, but needed the pads adjusted. She took them, brought them back but still were not right. I saw Jim, asked if he could help, he blew me off. Meanwhile I see her walking away ignoring me. Here she gave the glasses to another to help me. Fortunately this girl got it right. Usually they make sure the measurements are correct, and have you read the card. These lenses are progressive making it important that the glasses fit properly. I am extremely disappointed in the attitude that was given towards me. This was my last visit to Pritz and Gray.
