So my sister won a gift certificate in the Taste of Bellevue birthday drawing. My sister is disabled so she cannot drive. I called to see what needed to happen for me to pick up the certificate for her and the owner was very helpful. I went in the following day and we didn't even waste time with the certificate because I knew I was walking out with the sweet treats. The owner and her staff were amazing and so helpful. We tried the peanut butter chocolate cinnamon rolls and all of us loved them. The regular cinnamon rolls were a huge hit as was the little cheesecake thing she got, the rice crispy treat and the chocolate dipped macaroon was a definite favorite. To top it off she had a coffee made by the barista was definitely enjoyed. This is definitely a place I will return to. read more

This is a cute little Bakery. I have been trying to visit this bakery for over a year. Whenever I went by, they weren't open so I was in the area and my husband and I dropped in. I got a pink champagne cake. It was extremely rich, but it was delicious. I stopped in the next week to pick up some cake for my sister's birthday. They have a great deal where you buy a three individual cake slices and get the fourth for free. So that's what we did and everybody loved it. I just happened to walk by the day after they opened and of course had to stop in! It was hard to choose from everything in the case honestly. We settled on Candybar Cheesecake, a Brownie, and an Apple Turnover for this visit. While my daughter wasn't wowed by her brownie, we thought our other choices were wonderful. New Elkhorn location (opened October 2020). We saw it after putt-putt and we were curious. Thinking it might be a little snooty, we decided to go back another day, adults only, to get a cake for a birthday celebration. Well, WE WERE WRONG! Not snooty or pretentious! This is a family friendly bakery and would be a great place to walk to after some holes of putt-putt or after playing at Marks. They offer cookies, cupcakes, bars, buns, turnovers and more. They also offer coffee beverages and teas. On this trip, we ended up buying 4 sugar cookies, 2 lemon cookies, a 7-layer bar, a key lime bar, coconut cupcake, and a small carrot cake for a birthday celebration. Yum, yum, yum. Explains all their products. I have been looking at the bakery from outside for a few days while I was down here visiting for the wedding and was psyched to go. I wish. Of course I had gone there at the very beginning of the week when I first started here because I probably would've wait like another 10 to 15 pounds because I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat. We end up getting gluten-free brownies as well as homemade scones, triple berry and this morning I have fresh blueberry scone still warm from the oven with a delicious cup of dark roast coffee. Wish I was able to sit inside the restaurant and enjoy while relaxing. They also had a beautiful and attractive display cases really won't make you want to purchase more than what your intentions were when you first walked in they had fresh baked breads and pastries cheesecake regular gluten-free and keto friendly. I would definitely come here anytime I come out this area to visit. They have two locations. I went to the one in Bellevue. Right off of the main highway not five minutes absolutely well worth the trip. If you're in this area you're looking for something particular in the way of a specialty dessert to take with you or a decorated cake I heard them say they were making a cannoli order for people. A lot of the orders are made to order because of the fact that they have perishable pastry and stuff and so some cases you can actually buy stuff in most bakeries but like this one here they had lots of orders I saw these 10 order slips across the top of the counter that they were working on today. I stopped into the Omaha Bakery in search of cannoli. I saw pictures on their social media and decided this was a need and not a want. When I stopped in to my dismay no cannoli! When I told the woman working that's what I was there for she said "give me or so minutes and I can make some really quick if you're willing to wait." Apparently they made fresh cream filling that morning. Of course I waited and took four delicious, perfect cannoli home. Usually I'm on top of my photo game but the only pic of the treat I got was one I took a bite out of already to have with my coffee. Oops! The BEST Keto desserts and food in the city. They aren't cheap but I am fully aware of how much Keto ingredients cost. I dropped $40 on desserts and a sandwich but so worth it. There aren't enough 'sit down' bakeries like this in town. So I'd say The Omaha Bakery is a welcome addition to the midtown area. Especially since I'd had Alotta Brownies Bakery, formerly in Fremont, bookmarked and never visited for maybe years. Obviously The Omaha Bakery offers all the standards... cakes, cheesecakes, breads, brownies & bars. Lunch is also served, with sandwiches. soup, and salad offerings. There is also quiche (kicking myself for not knowing that earlier) which is served all day. We sampled a cinnamon roll, swiss/ham croissant, spinach croissant, raspberry scone, and some brownie bites. (Not to mention some very, very, decent coffee... sourced from someone local though now of course I can't remember who). Did I discover my new favorite pastries? Not necessarily... though the croissants were exceptionally well done. And I do look forward to trying more items. We will definitely return. My favorite thing so far about The Omaha Bakery (funny t-shirts aside) was the warm atmosphere. The interior is clearly meant to be enjoyed, versus dashing in and out for food. read more

OMG, sooooo glad I found this place! In town for business and ran across these guys while looking for Keto options. This is the first time I've seen a bakery, or restaurant period, have true Keto offerings. Went here twice while in town and I only wish I had found them sooner. I had the Keto Carrot Cake, Keto Zebra Bar, and the Keto Red Velvet... and all 3 were ridiculously delicious. I have not had anything close to a traditional sweet treat since starting Keto and these really hit the spot. I am excited to visit them again when I'm back in town. I needed a cake that captured the essence of Carta Blanca beer and also wished my dear friend a happy 40th birthday. We've ordered 3 cakes from here, two sheet cakes and one tiered cake. All have turned out amazing. Very good prices and the taste is well worth it vs store bought. Michelle and her team are very easy to work with. We came in today and ordered a signature PB cinnamon roll (these are my favorite) keto key lime bar, zero bar, and a cookie. I will note - normally the service is spot on but the young man working today didn't offer to heat up the cinnamon roll (this is how the owner has always suggested it to be eaten) so had to request it after we noticed it was cold. My daughter also asked for the blue sugar cookie but we were given the yellow one. After she had already touched it we couldn't trade it back. Just a couple small details that aren't normally missed cause I've seen how meticulous Michelle is here, so willing to let it slide. Seriously get the PB cinnamon roll. We recently started following a keto lifestyle and today is my husbands birthday. I wasn't able to make him anything but someone had mentioned The Omaha Bakery has keto friendly options. I called and explained the issue of timing and they set aside a box of treats for me to pickup a couple hours later after going through everything she has on hand!!! We ended up buying: 2 key lime bars, a mini red velvet cupcake, a zebra brownie, 2 chocolate pistachio truffles, and 2 lemon macaroons. Great local bakery. I first had their cupcakes at a wedding I went to and wanted to visit their bakery since their cupcakes were so tasty. They have a wide variety of baked goods from bread to cupcakes, cake balls, cakes, cookies and bars. We went over Halloween weekend so got some Halloween themed treats including cake balls and bars. The cake balls were super moist and big! The bars were candy bar themed and were just as tasty. If you're on a keto diet, you're in luck- they have a bunch of keto options. I sought this place out when visiting Omaha. I visited the bakery on a Wednesday afternoon and it was empty. They had plenty of options to choose from - full cakes and pies, slices of cake, cake pops, cookies, cupcakes, and the list goes on. I chose an Easter egg cake pop, and the employee took the cake pop from the case and walked to the kitchen with it. When they returned they handed me a melted cake pop on a plate, and said "let me know if it's too hot for you." I was confused as to why it was hot at all, as it had just come out of a refrigerated case. They told me they had microwaved it to take the chill off. I was disappointed as I understand they were trying to be helpful, but I believe I should have been given the option of having my dessert warmed or cold. The cake pop was covered in white chocolate, which in its warmed state was bubbly and burnt. The cake pop was not good warmed, but I think it may have been cold. I also visited the restroom and passed the kitchen on my way to find it. Both the restroom, kitchen, and dining area needed a good cleaning. This place left something to be desired as far as food and cleanliness go, but the staff were friendly and kind. read more

Lots of keto options, the staff is willing to answer all my burning questions as to ingredients as I avoid gluten and dairy. I had half a keto cinnamon roll this trip and boy was it tasty. It did have a bit of cream cheese but I was willing to make a sacrifice as my friend said they were amazing. I do a lot of baking myself so one thing I noticed was that the sugar seems to be granulated as opposed to powdered. Powdering the sugar I think would make the texture better but the flavor was on point. I do know that Omaha Bakery is offering package deals if you would like some yummy treats shipped to your house. Not impressed. After seeing the advertising we were super excited to find a bakery with Keto options. The only positive is that everything LOOKED great. We purchased several (way overpriced) items both regular and Keto. The keto cheesecakes we tried were flavorless and honestly couldn't tell the difference from one "flavor" to the other. We have made several keto and sugar free cakes and cheesecakes at home with recipes have found on line and what we purchased did not compare to our own. We purchased the regular cake and cheesecake for family members and none were impressed. For the price we were definitely expecting more out of this bakery. I had a few bites too and this place has the best cinnamon roll that I have ever had! It was so moist and flavorful. The inside of the bakery is feels very luxurious and you feel really welcomed. The Omaha Bakery was opened up by the same owners of Alotta Brownies: Home of the World's Fugiest Brownies in Fremont. That's a pretty bold claim, so I made the drive here to try and satisfy my brownie craving. They certainly do have a wide variety of brownies to choose from. I went with the zebra brownie, which is just a brownie with a thick layer of cheesecake on top. Stuck my fork in and my first thought was "wow, this thing is pretty solid" - not a good sign. Definitely tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for too long. For almost $5, I think I'll take my chances with Betty Crocker next time. My friends got the Cookies and Cream bonbon and the lemon tart. The bonbon was meh. The flavor of the lemon tart was delicious, but the filling wasn't quite set and just oozed out. The crust was overworked and hard - it was amusing watching my friend struggling to break off a piece with her fork. Also not a fan of how try label their items on the plate with the prices. It can be a little hard to read. Workers are friendly though, and there's plenty of seating with a connecting room where they also hold cookie decorating classes and such. read more
