We wanted to make this house perfect, so we decided to hire a professional designer. But we had never hired an interior designer before, we were wondering whether it would work well... Ryan drove three hours to our house and met with us to explain how he was going to make our dreams come true. The moment we met, we liked him right away--a passionate young man who loves what he does and more important, cares very much about his clients. Ryan spent a lot of time talking to us to understand each of our character, hobby, favorite colors, etc. In less than 4 weeks, the style of each room, matching furniture and accessories came along nicely. And then everything was ready. Ryan drove hours to stage the house for us. At the end, he spent the whole day to stage the house for us and twit the angel of each table and chair just to make everything perfect. Once he finished, we looked at our house and feels like a piece of great art, and we couldn't be happier! While Ryan was so humble and thanked us to give him the opportunity to work for us... We are absolutely amazed by Ryan's work and teased each other that our house must have already increased 20% value because of such beautiful design! We have no doubt that Ryan will make each of his clients happy and enjoy his/her home more than ever! Ping & Ron

We love our home and appreciate how tightly sealed it is, being in South Fl. We did have some issues with cracks in the garage floor, but they offered to epoxy it as the cracks were not wide enough to merit a drastic repair. Every single builder we checked out prior to buying had similar build quality issues because they all pull from the same pool of subcontractors/workers. If you use that as your base line for rating homes, I give Meritage a general score of 3.5 out of 5 but a 4 for our specific home. I've noticed things like a lack of right angles, doors that were not plumb, and slightly misaligned archways--all things that could've been avoided if the workers used leveling tools properly, the inspectors did their job correctly, and deadlines weren't prioritized. What we like: The ceiling heights are 9' 4", the baseboards are taller than other builders, they use foam insulation in the attic and exterior walls, impact windows, thoughtful design packages, and the price was right for the location and square footage. Anyone complaining about the included appliances must understand that they are builder-grade and aren't intended to last a lifetime.

I previously had another electrician take a look at it and he stated that he would need to break the wall most of the way down to be able to run the wires to the ceiling. I had a feeling that was incorrect and found Tim Fitzpatrick for a 2nd opinion. He came and took a look and found that he could run it through the attic without any issue! The only hole in the wall was just where the odd outlet was removed. I LOVE my new light fixture and it looks fantastic without the horrible plug/ cord running across the ceiling! He also did a great job at hanging another light in the hallway. He's very professional, prompt and friendly. Highly recommended!
