This place can be easily missed if you're along Sucat road because it's quite discreet-looking and has no parking. But inside is a different story--the vibe is reminiscent of Bellini's. It's cozy, homey, and filled with Italian-themed decor, a leaning tower of Pisa, and so on. You'll forget that you're in bustling, polluted Sucat road! We got the Aglia Oglio Pasta, and a Mushroom Risotto (that they made vegan just for me! Just ask nicely). Both dishes were really topnotch and exceeded our expectations (though to be honest, we had none at this particular time. I mean, any meal after a 10-hour trip from Vigan, Ilocos will be satisfying). We like this one as there is the distinct and savory taste of the anchovies, the capers, and the olives, the sourness of the tomatoes, as well as a spicy flavor, perhaps from chili. We also love the deep-fried mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce - such a sinful but delicious treat. We ordered this as a side to the pasta. We had originally wanted the margherita pizza, but between only two of us, the pizza and pasta might be too much. Gotti's is quite affordable, at a similar price level to Amici's, one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

At a time when I was so used to Pizza Hut, Shakey's, Greenwich, and Domino's, then came Don Henrico's, and my first time was in Baguio, at their first ever branch, no less! There, they even place generous amounts of lettuce on the pizza as an extra topping. There's just something "extra" about Don Henrico's that I can't find anywhere else. Maybe it's because it's a very Filipino brand - though the food is Italian, it's very much adjusted to the Filipino taste. I love the blend of savoriness, sourness, and sweetness in the pizza sauce and toppings. And of course, the softness of the pizza dough. The ingredients are also quite used generously. The vegetable delight pizza is truly a delight in any branch I have tried, including MOA. They don't scrimp on the ingredients at all. Of course they serve pastas and rice meals as well, but it's really the pizza that's the star for me. The MOA branch is particularly nice as you can see the sea from there. You can walk to the balcony and look out while waiting for your order.
