I wish I could write more but the next time I'm back in this neck of the woods I would definitely come here the staff are also friendly and it's warm inside.

As another Yelper correctly indicated, the road here is a narrow single-track, with frequent maneuvering necessary to allow traffic to pass; it can be rough on the nerves, if you're not practiced at it. My advice is to leave the car elsewhere and walk the towpath to the pub: both more relaxing and prettier! There are 2 parking lots if you do decide to drive. The service was friendly, and they have some nice beers available. Food did take a while to arrive, but we were enjoying our drinks and the ambiance, and were not bothered. The toilets are good here, bar service can be hit and miss depending on who and how many are serving. There are a few fruit machines and one quiz machine. A lot of seating, but will be full on the weekend.
