I was in the area doing a few errands, and was craving some Mexican food. Not Tex-Mex, but…read moresomething different from what one is served at the plethora of Americanized ethnic restaurants. Our two meals were made on the spot (zero heat lamps, here), and I could readily detect how fresh-tasting everything was. Except for us, all of the other diners appeared to be hispanic tradesmen having their lunches. The service was fairly attentive, but there was a bit of a language barrier between the Spanish-speaking waitress and us Anglos. I requested green sauce on my entree, thinking that would be a safe (mild) choice. I couldn't have been more wrong: muy caliente! I ended up having to exchange my spicy entree for my wife's, who had ordered the red sauce on her chicken dish, instead of the green sauce. She has a higher spice tolerance than I do, but said that the green sauce tested her upper comfort limits. My wife quite enjoyed her margarita (on the rocks). We think that some high-end tequila was used, because our bill for two entrees, an unsweetened iced tea, the one margarita, and taxes added up to exactly $42.00. (After doing some quick math, we supposed that was a reasonable price, but a bit higher than expected.) They don't write up receipts, and there's a fee if you use a credit card. We paid with cash. The owner spoke fairly fluent English, which would have been good to know when we ordered our meals. Also, he knew immediately what amount to charge us. If in the neighborhood, I might return. I only wish that this restaurant was far more transparent with the pricing of their beverages.

We ate in here last night for the first time. I got take away once a long long time ago, like 5-6…read moreyears or so. It is a divey bar/Irish pub. There was music playing the whole time but not loud at all - loud enough you could hear it but it didn't impede upon your conversations in the slightest. And by the way the music they had playing last night (Tuesday Feb 10 2026) was EXCELLENT!! I felt like I was at a bar from my youth with that soundtrack. We started with 2 appetizers, pub pretzels and the Celtic queso dip. The pretzels came with honey mustard and some of the queso. The Celtic queso has tortillas and what appeared to be house made potato chips. Both were very good! The 2 adults had some beer on tap. A Yeungling and a 201 Hoplar. Kid (well he is 21 but doesn't drink) had a coke. Entrees were a smash burger with fries, a Buffalo chicken sliders with onion rings, and a shepherds pie with mashed potatoes and gravy and okra. Everything was very good! Often fried things are either over or under done and come out not great however whoever was working the fryer was on it because the onion didn't pull out of the rings when you bit it and the okra was still nice inside the breading. Excellent waitress who kept checking on us and nice environment. What's not to like!! Definitely will return.

Deeeeeelicious and fun. We had never eaten in here although we'd talked about it dozens of times…read more (I think we picked up here once many years ago but I don't have strong memories of it.) But I was super impressed with the quality of the food! I expected a dive. And it is. But the food was fabulous!! Also, our waitress was excellent. Kudos to her. The inside is fun. Definite dive bar energy. We went all in. Appetizers, drinks, entrees. I regret nothing. We started with the queso appetizer and the pub pretzels. Both were very tasty. My one and only critique is that I wished the queso appetizer included some veggies like celery or carrots or something other than just chips. My son ordered the smash burger. Husband got the shepherds pie. I got the buffalo sliders. I like my buffalo chicken to be saucy. So I requested extra sauce. The kitchen seemed to misunderstand and instead of extra saucy, they put my sauce on the side and none on the chicken. Our waitress offered to send it back. That was not necessary. So she brought me lots of extra sauce. Incredible. The sauce was excellent. The chicken was excellent!!! Superb quality. Honestly, quite possibly the highest quality piece of chicken I've had on a chicken sandwich. Tender, moist, flavorful, and a large piece of meat. Very very impressed. I got the onion rings, at the suggestion of our waitress. They were fantastic. Washed it all down with a Yuengling. Truly, I can't say enough about this place. I was highly impressed. Most of the other customers appeared to be regulars who were seated at the bar. There were only a few groups seated at traditional tables. It was a Tuesday evening so I'm sure it's much busier on a Friday or Saturday. Oh - and just as we were leaving, they were setting up for karaoke. Apparently Tuesdays are karaoke night. Oh! And! The check was $77. That's with three beers, a Coke, two appetizers, three entrees! Not bad. Not bad at all!!

The restrooms were descent and cleaned. The place is huge but not overwhelming. They offer soul food and chinese cuisine at a good price. Service is good and staff is nice. Once seated, we were asked for our drink orders, which came out quickly. The buffet offered a wide variety of both American and Chinese dishes, and everything looked fresh and inviting. There was an impressive selection--fried chicken, baked chicken, BBQ chicken, bourbon chicken, pork chops, hamburger steaks, neckbones, yams, mashed potatoes, greens, pinto beans, green beans, cabbage... honestly, just about anything you could think of. My first plate had neckbones, pinto beans, cornbread, and a hamburger steak--everything was delicious. My 2-year-old really enjoyed the spaghetti and fried chicken, while my son loved the hot wings and rolls. It was truly a delight, and they even had a salad bar. The only downside was the dessert bar, which was pretty underwhelming. There were mostly small tea cakes, along with some cobblers and Jell-O. Unfortunately, there was no ice cream, which definitely disappointed my 2-year-old. The waitresses were attentive, frequently clearing finished plates and offering refills. Even as the crowd picked up around 6:30 PM, the buffet remained clean and well stocked. This restaurant is about a 30-minute drive for us, but it's always worth it

Got the Jalapeño Heatwave and it was ok. Not as spicy as anticipated. Wished I had added lettuce and tomatoes to the burger. For nearly $17 I expected more to it. Of course it comes with bottomless steak fries which I know is baked into the price. The ambiance was rather quiet and easy going. Not that many people there at the time. The wait staff was very good and attentive including the hostess. Lastly my cousin was expecting a free burger for his birthday as a Red Robin Rewards member. However that did not happen due to some "weird" requirement in order to be eligible for it such as having sent more than $10 there prior to your birthday month in order to be at least eligible for the free birthday burger. Here is an AI generated look at this requirement to be eligible. Buyer be aware: To claim a free birthday burger at Red Robin, you need to be a member of their Red Robin Royalty program, provide your email and verify your phone number, and sign up for promotional marketing via text or email. You also need to have made at least one purchase at Red Robin prior to your birthday month. The reward is automatically activated on your account on the first day of your birthday month. The manager did help compensate him because of this misunderstanding. We previously had never encountered this situation concerning the free birthday burger. Total surprised. Here's a more detailed breakdown of that requirement. You have been warned! 1. Join Red Robin Royalty: You must be a member of the Red Robin Royalty program. 2. Provide Information: You need to provide your email address and verify your phone number. 3. Opt-in to Marketing: You must sign up for promotional marketing via text or email. 4. Birthday Month Activation: The free birthday burger reward is automatically activated on your account on the first day of your birthday month. 5. Qualifying Purchase: You also need to have made at least one prior purchase at Red Robin before your birthday month. 6. Minimum Purchase Required: To redeem the birthday burger, a minimum purchase of $4.99 is required. 7. Dine-in Only: The free burger offer is typically valid for dine-in occasions. 8. Birthday Burger Selection: The free burger is usually limited to items listed under Gourmet Burgers, Tavern Burgers, or Veggie & More on the menu.
