Brad showed up on time to quote the job, he gave me no nonsense advice about how to solve the water leakage i.e. get rid of frameless screens, and provided a competitive quote for replacements. On the day of installation a week later, 2 installers showed up as promised and completed the job within 2 hours. They took away the old screens and all rubbish and did a thoroughly professional job. Hopefully I will never need them again for this type of work; however, I thoroughly recommend All Type Glass for all your glazing needs !

That's what happened for me. We managed to smash a glass panel in our door when we were moving a desk, so called these guys and they were there the same day and also fixed an old casement window that had been bothering me for a while after matching the stippled glass - same day again, went away, got the glass and returned. Last week, my partner needed a quick decorating job done which consisted of filling 12 different sized frames with mirrors for a feature wall - Glass Solutions turned it around in a couple of days and the price wasn't too bad - good service.

For those fellows out there who are looking for a standard, no frills but also no disasters (yet) haircut, then look no further then Figaro's. I switched to Figaro's after I got sick of paying a premium for a haircut and being consistently dissatisfied with the results. My thinking was, 'how much worse could it be if I just went to that Figaro's place'. Turns out they do a pretty decent job. Like those old style barbers there are no bookings or 'hair appointments' required, just come in, take a seat and wait. By the time you reach the barber's chair you have about 30 seconds to describe what you want before those scissors start snipping. Remarkably the barbers here are quite skilled. They can take initiative and their intuition often seems to work out - at least for me. Turns out I didn't know I wanted shorter hair before they gave it to me. Prices are absolutely reasonable: normally around $20 for an adult. As a side they only accept cash so be sure you have some handy. This wasn't the most intimate haircut I've ever had but it was pretty darn good. It was probably in and out of there in 30 minutes, including the time it took to wait for a barber to finish with another client. Though I was disappointed that I didn't get a head massage and an interesting insight into who my hairdresser is dating, what I got instead was a above average haircut for below average prices. This obviously won't do so some people, but it works for me.
