I decided to try The Novel Tree because of this review on Google: "The bud tenders are so helpful and knowledgeable. They have deals going on ALL the time and have a reward system." I was looking for budtenders that were better listeners than where I had been shopping. So I tried them out. Well, last night I had a very bad night because I came home with cannabis that was wrong for me. Now I'm stuck with one partly used and one unopened cartridge of hybrid indica when I need straight indica. I emailed the store and they told me that they would make it up to me. They would exchange the unopened cartridge and give me a good discount on one item in the store. I went in for the exchange and to use the discount. They screwed the whole thing up. I ended up being there a whole hour, getting jerked around by budtenders who couldn't even use the cash registers. The item I tried to use the discount on wouldn't even ring up. So I didn't want to but I emailed the marketing manager, Brock, again and told him about my second terrible experience. On the Novel Tree's website they say they provide "personalized service." Fail. They also say they provide "fully-customizable experiences." Also a fail. And "the best quality cannabis products in the world." Idk. I couldn't use the cannabis they sold me. Brock's reply to this second email was disappointingly like, "Oh, sorry." And that's it. Suddenly it was like to the Novel Tree I was diseased or something. I wanted something more helpful from him on what I should do on my next trip to their store. So I emailed him a short email. He just ghosted me. I don't know why I got the brush-off from Brock, I sent him a question by email May 15 with a follow-up email on May 19. He did not respond to either. Really friendly pot shop with great menu selection and low prices especially compared to the nearby shops. Budtenders know their stuff, and they have medical too so that's a big plus. I went in here with a friend and the man who helped us was super cool! Also they have a sweet rewards program happy hour discounts and more. I will add for the sake of those who are immunocompromised, The store is very small and they do not seem to be enforcing social distancing or limiting how many people can be here at the same time. and I'm not sure about if they enforce masks. But there were many people very close to me in the shop when I was here with my mask on. I hope this doesn't prevent some of their regulars from being able to get what they need. I just moved back to WA from Los Angeles. I was afraid I wouldn't find a shop I love, but I did! Novel Tree takes care of their customers. I had a cartridge that had a major leak and even though I went over the 7 day return policy, they took into account I had left town and so on so I couldn't handle it sooner. On the phone I was told I could get a good discount in exchange for the product problem. Which I was thankful for! But once I got in store they just replaced it! Great people. Good vibe. But on the off-chance some reefer EDIBLES might calm my jumpy tense nerves, I checked this store out to see what would happen if I were to do the next best thing to kicking the gong around. I chose this location because it's nearby. I bought the world's most ghastly expensive cookies. I was warned not to eat too much at once, maybe half a cookie at a time, or as a novice I might get way too stoned. Well, I ate every giggle biscuit in one swell foop of a piggy stuffin'. I didn't even get a mild buzz! What a waste of my hard-earned vootie mazuma. Since then I've been brought other bambalacha edibles as gifts from the Callow Avenue store, by a friend who thinks I seriously need to chill; and I still get no effect. Someone told me this shouldn't be so and maybe my zoot-suited Bombay slinger's baker is using the wrong kind of mohasky, with low THC. I suspect they just use very little or not even a tiny speck of boogity brown bammer, cuz who'd be able to prove it! 9 minutes ago BE AWARE!!!! Check your weight with a digital scale, I was shorted 2.5 g. When buying 2 oz. I gave them $338. One was on point and the other one was off. I talk to the store manager Trica. She told me I could get 500 points which equals 25%off my next purchase or I could come in today and get the 30% off. The problem is that I just gave them over 300 dollars the previous day and they owe me. I don't want to give them any more money, I don't think that's fair. I simply asked her to give me 2.5 grams or give me the cash amount different in the oz. Which was about 14 dollar or full refund. She refused and told me there's nothing to she could do but theses two options. Im going to simply use my powers and write reviews and recommend the reef or the potzone to everyone that goes there. Nice people but I had a slight problem with one of the products. I spent $28 on one of the ez vape small disposables because I am in town for a few days and needed something to get me by around my antiweed family. The first one I bought didn't work at all. So I went right back to return it. The said they could only exchange but this has never happened before the brand is really good. So I'm like ok cool whatever probably just happened to get the one defective one. So the new one was good i got probably about 20 hits off it (supposed to be 50-100 but I hit it kinda hard so idk). So I go back and get another one because it's small and easy to hit when I need it and I get literally 2 hits and it's out. I'm super sad I spent another 30:( and also makes me wonder if the brand actually just kinda sucks and they are just pushing all their products.... I have paid for a uber back and forth so many times I guess I will just go without until I get home. I did however buy a $10 joint and it was bomb.
