I was dreading switching over my phone plan. DREADING. I have been putting it off for so long, I…read morecan't even remember. I have been holding steadfastly to a cracked and weathered iphone4 that contains a US plan that angers my husband each time he receives the bill (oops). It was time. So finally on this fateful day in which I met an old pal for lunch down the way at Hawley Arms (and consequently Camden Town station is closed from 1pm-530pm on Sundays to prevent overcrowding...hmmm) --- I found myself face-to-face with a Vodafone store. I took a deep breath, walked in and was helped immediately by Denzel. The process took about 25 minutes, but was entirely pleasant. I basically knew the plan and phone I wanted and let him know as much. He took care of everything else, made polite chit chat and 25 minutes later I was out the door with a ready-to-use, fully functional, United Kingdown iphone5. Denzel, thank you. For restoring not only my street cred...but my faith in any telecommunications company in this country. Well done, sir...well done! This branch obviously gets a bit nuts, but not overly so. It's just far enough away from the station to not be insane. The sales people I encountered were all very pleasant and were dealing with the group of children TOUCHING every phone pretty well. Better than I would've. *24 month contract scores you a free 16GB iphone5. I had to put down a 100GBP deposit due to my just relocating here and not having much history, but I will get that back after 6 payments. It's about 47GBP/month. *Euro traveller (main reason I went with Vfone): 3GBP/day that you are in the Eurozone allows you to use all of your internet, text and phone calling from your normal plan. TBD, I will report back. *SWEET, I have a new iphone. Happy day!

After shopping up and down Camden High Street, Lee helped me find the right phone at the right price point, set it up, and away we went. In a very competitive market, these guys have good phones good prices and good service. Go there.

I…read moreshould have shopped around for a store that actually answered their phone or had good reviews. "Helped" by a rather rude and unhelpful chap by the name of Christian, who somehow made it to assistant manager. The actual manager wasn't there to help so I was left with this person. He eventually passed me over to Eamon (Five star employee) who actually cared and helped and had the problem solved in a few minutes. But sadly the long wait with the horrible assistant manager sealed the one star rating for this store.

I was dressed appropriately, I didn't smell, so I can think of no reason for the look. Customer service has changed somewhat if the people who are working are so affronted when they have a potential sale. Anyway one of the guys came over as I looked at the Blackberry Bold. "You want the Nokia mate. The Bold is alright, people say its alright, but you want the Nokia." "Do I? Do I really want the Nokia? No! No I do not." If I'd of wanted a Nokia I'd of asked about it. What is it with phone stores pushing the Finnish behemoth of phones on me? I just didn't get a nice vibe about 3 in Camden. I respect they have some great offers, and the latest cool 3G handsets, yet if I was going to purchase a handset from 3, it wouldn't be from this store.

This was a present for us from our daughter We were met by a young lady (her name was Sarah) in jeans with both her hands in her pocket. She kept her hands in her pocket all the while getting our watches and giving us a run down on the operation of these watches. She appeared least interested in looking after us. This is the most ill treatment we have received! I did not want to say anything for the fear of her not giving us the information we needed!

I had purchased AppleCare+ at the same time but yet have been given the run around for the last three weeks regarding my repair. They've advised that the part needed for the repair is out of stock, and that aside their repair quote came to £969.83. Surely Apple can offer me a brand-new replacement instead because I am covered by insurance right? Wrong. I'm expected to keep waiting on a repair while they wait for the part which could be months at this point (as well as being expected to pay £229 for the excess). Despite contacting Apple numerous times they have been unwilling to assist me further. What's worse is that Apple continues to sell MacBooks when they know they don't have the parts to repair them. This is extremely unethical. The staff at their Regent Street store dared to suggest I buy and return a MacBook every 14 days (no questions asked policy) until my repair has been completed. How does my Apple insurance help me here? It doesn't. And I am beyond outraged at this point. Just another company willingly taking advantage of their consumers without a care in the world.

This is not the case, the selection is limited and with everything locked down, I feel a little like a naughty schoolboy. I needed to purchase an Iphone cover and register a sim card. I made it straight to the front of the queue and was quickly handed a phone to call HQ to register my sim. As I waited to be connected (elevator music) I perused the accessories. I would of bought a couple of items if everything wasn't bolted down, but I didn't fancy queuing to get an attendants attention so they could fetch what I wanted. It may be strange, but I want to see something, pick it up and pay for it. Simple! There is nothing particularly wrong with O2 in Camden, I just do not like the dynamics of the shopping experience there.
