DO NOT GO HERE. THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I took my iMac for a diagnose on the fans being too loud. -They erased my data without calling me before. -Miss-diagnosed the problem. -Replaced logic board wrongly. When I took the machine back home, it was rebooting itself every few mins, so I had to take it back. -They diagnosed it again, replaced logic board again, fans and a cable, and it's still having problems that they can't figure out but don't offer any valid solution and are rude to me. I used MR to replace the battery in my macbook (Apple had issued a recall for fault batteries). I chose them because they're closer and I could get an appointment immediately, unlike at Apple's stores. I asked them if in addition to the battery replacement whether they could replace the keyboard, which I would pay for. They came back and said that the keyboard is replaced as part of the battery replacement, so got it all done for free. Another store might have not acted that way... They said it would take 5-7 working days (for the part to arrive) and it did indeed take 5 and I'm very happy. read more

AWFUL service! Avoid!!! Had a particularly unpleasant experience with this centre. When I first phoned the receptionist lady was nothing but rude (not letting me finish the sentence, not willing to let me speak to technician before booking an appointment/making a journey). After getting through to a technician I decided to bring my iMac to this service. When I arrived I was greeted by the same receptionist who was again unbelievably rude to me. My issue was not very straightforward and I needed to speak to the technician again before leaving the iMac with the service and filling in the form (to make sure I address all the important issues). The technician was also somewhat rude, and was not really paying attention to some of the explanations I gave. In the end, I decided to leave the iMac with the service as I already made a journey to the MR Systems. Before I managed to do that the receptionist told me "We don't need your box", referring to the fact that I was going to leave the iMac with the box (I carried it in it since I was taking a cab). She didn't even bother telling me that before I came in even though I asked if there are any storage requirements. To be honest, I am not sure how this place is still authorised by Apple. And if you do need your Mac diagnosed or repaired, use a better, more professional service who have a better idea about customer experience read more

Fantastic service. This place needs some new reviews on Yelp as the last ones are from last year or 2016! Over on google it has a brilliant success rate and rightly so. I recently experienced an issue with my Mac Book Pro and while other authorised Apple providers told me that I would have to pay a fee for them to look at it and diagnose, a wonderful assistant by the name of Anton at MR Systems offered to take a look with no charge and his team fixed my Mac Book on the spot within a couple of minutes, as my problem seemed to be fairly straightforward. If I could give 0 stars I would. MR Systems are the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever come across! I was recommended by Apple to go through these guys as they were quicker than the 4 day wait for an Apple store appointment but in the end it took these guys 15 days for them only to tell me they had failed to obtain an unlock code for a simple Firmware lock that had come up on my iMac. Communication is non-existent, I would ring these guys everyday and receive no answer but when you go to the actual store there are barely any customers in there and everyone is sat in the back office! When I did manage to get through to them on the phone they would have no update for me and tell me they will call back the same day with news, only to not return my call and have me chasing them days later. I sent the store all the necessary paperwork (proof of purchase and my ID) for them to request an unlock code from Apple but they constantly failed to obtain one saying Apple will not accept my documents. I called Apple again and they spoke with the MR Systems store directly who informed Apple that it was miscommunication and that they did indeed manage to unlock my iMac so it would be ready for collection the next day, however when I turned up the next day to collect my iMac they told me this was not the case and they were still working on unlocking it! I finally gave up and took my iMac back from them and went directly to Apple with THE SAME proof of purchase documents and ID. Apple managed to unlock my iMac within 48hrs FREE of charge (MR Systems demanded £35.00 from me before they even resolved the issue). Save yourself the trouble and go straight to Apple, these guys are useless and will keep you in the dark whilst demanding payment! read more

MR Systems is an Apple Mac reseller and repair centre, the staff are sympathetic and super helpful. They also stock refurbished Macbooks etc, well worth talking to Leni if your after a Mac computer but have a tight budget! read more

Got a diagnostic done here, specifically asked the guy at the counter if there were any charges for looking at it, he said there werent. Turns out there is but it only tells you this when you book it onto the system in the shop yourself, i missed this. What customers want is clarity thats why asked in the first place, leaving part of your customer service to a computer is risky business. Lady in the shop defended herself saying she would have told me but didnt apologise for her colleague. Not good enough , forked our 40 odd quid for the diagnostic. Not happy. Poor customer service. They broke my laptop case while they were taking it off, the texting service only worked half the time, and it took more than twice as long as they said it would. It was incredibly frustrating to get only one text over the 2 weeks it was there. read more

Had an issue with my macbook shutting down unexpectedly. After some unhelpful chats with an unduly arrogant Apple live chat tech bod I went to MR Systems and so far I'm very glad I did. 1) I got listened too 2) The chap at MR Systems knew exactly what the problem was - it was a known issue with MacBook Pros of 2010 3) Fixed in less than 4 days and 4) The chap at MR systems sat with me helped me do a verify and repair on my hard disk even though he no doubt had a 1000 better things to be doing. So far everything working like a charm. Can't thank these guys enough! Would highly recommend to anyone! read more

I´ve been today at the shop with my laptop that was updated for the last version of OS yesterday. Today in the morning my keyboard didn´t work properly the letters didn´t match with the keyboard. When I was in the shop the man who was at the desk wasn´t useful at all in my opinion quite rude!! . He checked the laptop for 5 seconds? and then he told me the laptop has been wet with some liquid!! and I said this is totally false but he was reiterated in his "diagnosis". He made me feel like a liar with the other clients and want me to charge at least GBP 200 without checking if the problem was related with the Software and not with the hardware!!. This is totally incredible! I never had any problem working with Apple but honestly this man shouldn´t work for Apple at all!. Of course I didn´t decide go ahead with MR Islington and when I got home I tried to repare a possible software problem myself ( remember I update the software yesterday!) and voilá! my keyboard is working as normal again!!. So I´m really disappointed with MR Islington and will not be there anymore!!!!! read more

After speaking directly to apple and being shown this repair note they posted on their website -https://www.apple.com/uk/support/macbookpro-videoissues/ I proceeded to MR sales as it is local to me. After explaining I've had the machine for 4 years and that i didn't purchase the machine directly from apple and rather a third party company I was told to leave my machine for diagnosis. a week commenced and I wasn't contacted at all my status on their website was also that my machine was still under diagnosis. I finally went to the store of my own accord to hear they had wasted my time in saying I needed to provide proof of purchase and that the information i had received from apple was wrong even tho i further provided proof of speaking to a technician out in Texas on apples website who confirmed i was still possibly covered by this repair notice. I lost a week of unnecessary earnings due to MR sales terrible service! Don't use this company! read more

Terrible service - I had an iMac in there that was supposed to be fixed in 3-5 days... it's now 4 months later, and it hasn't even been started on. I've had to speak to Apple directly a number of times for them (something which they should do), and MR Systems have not contacted me back on every occasion that they said they would. It's just left everything up in the air. read more
