She is beyond talented and has an innate sense for transforming a room into the largest, brightest and most beautiful space possible. Lindsey works quickly and efficiently from room to room with intention. During our initial consultation she walked the home and gave us many pointers and tips with a great checklist to follow. In that hour of time she also helped me edit, rearrange and declutter existing decor and furniture. At the end of our initial consult I was amazed by the transformation and fell in love with the space created. We also appreciated that Lindsey was willing to work with our own unique needs and budget. She did such an incredible job we decided to ask her back to stage our bonus loft and master bath. Lindsey thoughtfully paid attention to every last detail and the results were breathtaking. Her magic touch made our real estate photos shine. I truly believe that her staging greatly contributed to us getting an offer on our home during the slowest season of the year for real estate. We received positive feedback from many potential buyers who walked the home and they commented about how beautifully it showed and how intentional the layout and design was. Lindsey is talented and extremely hardworking; she is also genuine and a true pleasure to work with! I can not speak highly enough of the experience we had. Thank you for "Kure"ing our home!

Once my wife and I purchased a new home in NW Austin we knew we were going to need help. We wanted our new home to reflect our style. The problem is that sometimes you have good taste but struggle to put it all together. I called Jill and she sent us Kelli Presses, a member of the Nine Design team. She is fantastic! Kelli arrived at our new home, took a tour, and immediately started listening to our thoughts regarding our aesthetic. The first thing Kelli did was help us rearrange our furniture in our living room. We spend most of our time in this room and she nailed it. Over the course of a few weeks Kelli helped us transform our entire house. From room layout to paint color to window treatments to accessorizing. My favorite thing about Kelli, besides her gift of design, was that she understood our budget and never pushed us to spend money unnecessarily. As a matter of fact, there were a few times she offered "do it yourself" ways of saving money for the same result/impact. We're now in the final stages and our house looks amazing. We love to entertain and our friends and neighbors are blown away by the transformation. We give Kelli and Nine Design all the credit. Call Nine Design if you have any design needs. We needed help with our entire house. You may only need help with one room. Or maybe you need a color consultation for painting. They do it all.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Janice Hanks of Next Level Austin. Next Level Austin…read morespecializes in interior (and exterior) design in home and office remodeling and in new construction. My husband and I worked with Janice four years ago with a complete remodel of the 1980s home we bought in central Austin, which had "great bones" but was very dated and needed a total overhaul. (Peach colored padded raw silk walls in the formal dining room, anyone?) Janice was involved in every decision -- from paint colors to flooring (new wood floors, tile and carpet throughout the entire house), lighting, plumbing fixtures, new granite countertops, down to helping me select new cabinet hardware for the entire house. The kitchen was a major part of the project -- walls were moved, an island added, new appliances, new granite countertops, and many other changes. We had a tight timeline since we were still living in our previous house, which we had already sold, and the buyers wanted to move in. We worked with a fabulous contractor and between Janice and our contractor, we got the entire project completed in less than three months. We updated the three bathrooms, but we left the old, small shower and bathtub (which we never used) in the master bathroom. Late last year, we decided that we were ready to do a total remodel of the master bathroom, with the main goal to get rid of the old shower and turn the bathtub space into a large, walk-in shower. We contacted Janice again and worked with her to design the new bathroom (the old bathroom was completely gutted). As with the prior remodel, she thought of wonderful little touches that really made the new bathroom gorgeous; things I would not have thought of. She helped us select the paint and tile and made sure everything pulled together seamlessly. Every time I walk into it, I can't believe how beautifully it turned out! Janice is truly gifted, and her ability to choose colors and textures is phenomenal. She is able to look at a dated house or room and visualize what it *can* look like; something I have a hard time doing. She works with her clients to learn their tastes and style, and she then pulls it all together to create a space that is perfect for the client, whether the client's taste is classic, modern or something in between. I would recommend Janice Hanks and Next Level Austin to anyone who needs assistance with design. Check out the website; there are many gorgeous photos of her work (including some of my kitchen and new bathroom!).

Janice Hanks shows up at your door as a classy, highly sought after professional designer, but I am…read moreconvinced that she wears a superhero costume underneath that business attire! Where do I even start? I have worked with Janice on numerous occasions/homes, from paint colors and staging to "whole house" top to bottom projects. She has been a game changer for my business and my own home. I am a Realtor, and when I bring Janice into a listing, I assist my sellers in selling higher and faster than the other homes in the neighborhood. Anything she touches turns to art, and she has left my clients speechless by her results. On a recent listing, I sat down with an amazing client who said "We hate this house- get us out of here". The home needed a new roof, new paint, and updating everywhere and would be considered a "handyman's special" if we listed- and we had a very small remodel budget. We also needed to sell this home high to get the seller what she needed out. I immediately called Next Level Austin. Janice picked out roof singles, exterior paint, interior paint, staging, door handles, and everything in between. With my listing strategy and Janice's magic, we were able to list high and receive 3 full priced offers immediately. The only hiccup was when the seller fell back in love with her home after she was under contract with a buyer- Janice is that good! I promised her we could use Janice on her new home when she invests in one, and we both got excited. Working with Janice is a blast! I did the same thing at my house. Having the wrong "feel" in your home is frustrating. I called Janice in and did whatever she said. I trust her this much. My home feels like a showcase, and my investment was less than half of what I expected it to be. Janice is the best in her field and works with your budget. Working with her pays itself back twenty fold- I tell my clients when we are focused on their bottom line, we cannot afford NOT to call Janice- and I mean it.

It's much more spacious than their old Arboretum store and they had such wonderful new home items. We are redoing a midcentury ranch home near the lake and have been unable to find a suitable piece of furniture for the TV to go on in the bedroom. My mom walked in and instantly found the piece she had in her mind all this time. We also found some really nice silk palms and a leather ottoman to finish out the room. As it turns out, the piece of furniture was too big to fit in a Suburban so we had to grab a U-Haul. It was near closing time, but Scott (the Scott in Heather Scott Home) told us he would gladly wait for us to return and help load it. We were really concerned about getting such a large piece of furniture out of the trailer once we got to the lake but the way Scott secured it and positioned it we were able to get it on a furniture dolly and inside in the blink of an eye. Everything we bought was perfect! It totally modernized the space while keeping within the mid century ranch vibe. The girls at the store also offered vendor information for the company who stained their concrete and called me a few days later with information on a Benjamin Moore paint color that I was interested in. I could not believe how helpful Scott and the salesgirls were. This was a great customer service experience and we are super happy with all of our purchases. I will definitely be back the next time I need something for my home.

By doing that we were able to create a synergy together that made the end result even better than if either one of us had done it alone. We constantly built on each others ideas. My place looks spectacular. It is very nontraditional and everybody that comes loves it for it's uniqueness. We both contributed to that. I could have never done it without her. I know how flexible Laura can be in her design work in that my place is so completely "out of the box". For that reason, I recommend her to all my friends. It doesn't matter what they have in mind, she will have an idea about how to achieve it. Maybe some people completely turn over their design to a designer but I think it is important to constantly contribute so that in the end there is no issues that would cause it to be less than fabulous.
