Alan called first and arrived a few minutes early. He was extremely friendly and explained exactly what was wrong and he came prepared to fix it. We were very happy with the speed of the repair and excellent workmanship that Alan possessed. Instead of guiding customers, they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by asking basic questions. For the past 2 or 3 years my wife tried to convince me that we should try some type of camera system and I always told her I can do the work that the camera does. I had called Guy at Country Guard a year ago and talked about cameras and that's where it ended, finally in the fall of 2024 I made another call to Guy to talk cameras again, this time after a lengthy discussion I finally decided to purchase a system. My cameras arrived via the courier thanks to the mail strike, as I said I am not a techie person but I was able to set my cameras up in the house to make sure everything worked. Once everything was good and confirmed working I transferred everything outside to my calving corral and calving barn. We started calving on the 15th of January and have had some-30 plus wind chill weather which makes calving a little more difficult, but with the help of these cameras we are able to watch cows 24/7 and we literally do.The iPad is always on and focus on the calving cows we still go out and check the cows but the camera allows us not having to live with them in this weather. I am very happy with the cameras as far as the zoom capability and the range of motion that they allow. As far as support I have never had a problem with Country Guard if they do not answer the phone I will leave a message and I get a prompt response. My experience with Country Guard,the camera quality, and the support I have received has been very impressive and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a system they have to offer. And this is coming from a guy who was a technology nay sayer. Thanks again Country Guard for the helpful hand and I am already planning additional cameras to aid in heat detection of cows for AI ing in the spring.
