I had been trying to find a salon where I felt comfortable trusting someone with both my color and haircut, and after checking 7 different places, I finally ended up here -- and I'm SO glad I did! From the very beginning, the customer service stood out. Liz was at the front when I first walked in. They didn't have anyone available to take me at that moment, but she was so kind and let me know she could do my haircut Saturday at 12 PM. I later checked availability online and booked an appointment with Michelle for Friday at 4:30 PM. Michelle reached out to me almost immediately and explained that her latest appointment was actually at 3 PM. Instead of simply turning me away, she offered to check with the team to see who could accommodate my schedule. She came back and found Jenny available Friday at 4:30 PM. THAT kind of teamwork and communication already made such a great impression on me. Then Jenny reached out before my appointment and asked what I had in mind and whether I had any inspiration pictures. I told her I was looking for a color correction and haircut, and from the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable. Jenny was welcoming, easy to talk to, and very natural. She took the time to understand what I wanted, guided me through everything, and made sure I felt comfortable speaking up about my preferences or any changes I wanted along the way. And then came the unexpected bonus... while washing my hair, Jenny gave me a head, temple, and scalp massage. ‍ Between the color service, the haircut, the massage, and just the overall experience, I felt like I got so much more than I expected. She did my color exactly how I envisioned it, gave me the haircut I wanted, and finished everything with a beautiful blowout. I left feeling AMAZING. What really impressed me was that the team was responsive, accommodating, honest about pricing, and genuinely listened to what I wanted and needed. That is hard to find! I'm already planning to bring my mom and my daughter here for their haircuts. And if you can book with Jenny -- DO IT! She is absolutely wonderful. This salon truly went above and beyond my expectations. I'm so happy I found this place!

I'm so glad I found Robin!…read more I messaged her around 12:30 a.m. on a Friday morning, not expecting a response anytime soon, but she got back to me first thing that morning around 8:30 a.m. She was incredibly responsive and walked me through the entire booking process. I noticed she had availability later that same day, so I was able to schedule an appointment for 1:45 p.m. Even though I was worried I had waited too long to book and wasn't giving her much notice, she promptly confirmed my appointment and reassured me to still come in. From the moment I arrived, Robin was so warm, personable, and welcoming. As a mom, I especially appreciated that she was completely understanding about me bringing my 4 1/2-year-old with me. She even offered her a comfortable space to sit and wait while I had my hair done, which meant so much to me. I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair, but Robin had some great ideas and helped me figure out a good starting point. I absolutely love how my hair turned out! Not only is she talented, but she made the entire experience easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. I will definitely be going back to Robin in the future! ‍

She took it all in stride, answered every question, and thoroughly explained the process every step of the way. I absolutely LOVE how my hair turned out. Since my hair had been dyed many times over the years (and the last two times were a very dark brown), Robin explained why it was important not to over-process the bleach and risk permanent damage. I really appreciated her honesty and expertise. Instead of chasing an unrealistic result in one appointment, she prioritized the health and integrity of my hair--and it shows! My hair is still incredibly glossy, soft, and healthy while giving me the beautiful balayage I was hoping for. Thank you, Robin, for sharing your expertise and making me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. You've earned yourself a lifelong client... if you'll have me!

However, you have to keep bleaching to keep the roots fresh and color grey hairs. My hair was dry and brassy, needed dimensions, deep conditioning, and toning. I needed a lowlight or reverse bayalage. I checked Groupons to save money but sometimes you're not getting their best work because it's cheaper and they're not getting as much money or sometimes they charge more for long hair etc. I even got turned away by one color expert called "Hair by Christopher" on Groupons who told me after looking at pictures of my hair, he responded "It's more work than I want to take on.I don't feel comfortable taking it on. Sorry." He claims he a color expert and had good reviews but he was not compassionate nor caring about my situation. Anyways, I checked yelp instead. I reached out to as many stylists I could that would respond right away, educate me, would answers my questions and had good reviews. I wasn't sure if anyone was going to be able to save my hair but I knew I needed lowlights and never had one plus I didn't want to lose all my highlights either. Vivian knew what I needed and what I wanted after communicating with her and sending pics etc. She wanted to work with me and gave me a better deal than Groupon and most stylists. She listened. She wanted to help me. I trusted my instincts and she made my hair look better than I imagined. You can see for yourself. She's efficient, unbelievable at multitasking, and is a hard worker. She doesn't waste your time and her attention is on your hair at all times. She saved me. I am ever so thankful for her. I would refer her to everyone. She doesn't overcharge. She helped save me from hundreds of dollars.

Hair is an investment that I will never regret with Annie Trang!…read more I moved to Florida 4 years ago and I fly to California just to get my hair done by Annie. She's the hair queen so I travel for her because she is worth every penny and minute spent. She is the best investment I've made for myself. I learn a lot from her as she is very wise and understands my hair health and history. I never have "hair salon anxiety" with Annie because I trust her so much and know my hair will always turn out perfect in her hands. I'm always excited to visit her because I enjoy spending time with her as she is a good person inside and out. In addition to her lovely work, she is a lovely person and has a big heart. She's like me, a perfectionist that cares about every single little detail, so if you're anything like me, I like my hair to be a specific way and she always hits the mark. If i get nervous during the appointment about it not looking the way I want it, she's always open to listening, reassuring me, fixing anything that might be off, or being honest and letting me know why my visions may be unrealistic in just one sitting. I trust her judgment and always leave her appointments feeling more confident with not just my hair but my life struggles we talk about throughout my appointment hehe. She's a very busy person so please remember to book your appointments well in advance and be patient as you should with any service person but know that she really cares about her clients and will fit you in and accommodate any changes that you might need within reason. I've been going to her for more than five years now and her prices are reasonable for the industry of beauty :,) you get what you pay for and you pay for quality here. Just be detailed and specific about what you want, what you dislike, and understand and ask questions nicely if you have any concerns. Fair warning, if you want a hair stylist that doesn't talk to you or you need to get somewhere after your appointment, she does run late and does care about relationships with her clients and likes to chat. I'm someone who expects to spend the full day at the salon since my hair is thick and it takes about 6-7 hours to get this type of work done. I go in every 6 months and will bring work with me or something to kill time when I'm waiting around for processing and if she happens to run late. She's very clean and the studio is well lit and has nice aesthetics. Happy to say I won't be needing a new hair stylist soon. Although I do have to drive extra to her after moving, I like her work, her personality, her attention to the questions and concerns I have.

She taught me how to style certain parts of my hair using the blow dryer, which I asked about because I liked the way it looked on a kdrama actress, LOL. Now I do it everyday and love it! She also provides great product recommendations. Lena's salon is petite and cute, but it feels spacious enough since she usually has one customer at a time. Lena has a gentle and sweet approach to hair, making recommendations without feeling like they're being forced on you. I really appreciate that.
