I have to update this review. Having to go to this place I have realised that they might be nice but they don't really understand actual care. I told them I was having issues with my medication and it was ignored. Another of my doctors needed to speak with them and I had signed a release. Three messages were left and they couldn't be bothered to even speak with her and tell her they don't want to discuss it. Nothing. I have asked my primary for another neurologist. read more

Rancho: Disorganized front desk. It's 2/17 and they leave up announcements from previous days (see pic). There's a guest TNG WiFi and no one behind the front desk knows the password. It's 10am and already the waiting room is very full (tho shared with Foothill Pain Mgt). I'm having a bad feeling about this already, like this is a sad overbooking replay of nearby Arrowhead Ortho. But then, merely 20 min after my appointment time, they bring me back and give me convivial conversation while they poke and prod me, testing my nerve conductivity like I was their most important patient. On today, April 28, 2026, I took my mother to the Neurology Group to obtain a copy of her medical records and specifically an MRA and MRI conducted at the behest of a doctor with the Neurology Group. Office personnel, Brittany, refused to provide this information, indicating that the information would be shared with my mother in June 2026. This is a violation of HIPAA, the conduct required for doctors pursuant to the CA Medical Board and her rights as a patient. Despite explaining to Brittany that this information was needed so that it could be shared with my mother's other treating doctors, Brittany refused. The medical doctors with this group (Faisal, Zhang, others) seem to be billing the insurance company without providing patients with necessary test results so that patients can advocate for themselves and their medical needs. Waiting until June to receive test results done in April could be too late and could result in an unnecessary delay in medical treatment. I am going to have to file a complaint with the CA medical board against the medical group and I'd advise any person considering using this group's doctors for medical care to think twice because they are effectively delaying my mother learning about an acute diagnosis (acute frequent strokes) which could result in a negative outcome. I will be finding another neurologist for my mother ASAP. STAY FAR AWAY FROM Dr. Bhupat Desai (agent for service of process), Dr. Qazi Faisal (president of the Neurology Group), and the Neurology Group's doctors. read more

This review is for the Upland clinic. Today will be the last day I ever visit this clinic. The office staff is completely incompetent and they overcharged my copay by $55.00 and refused to reimburse me my money. Luckily I called my Aetna PPO and they will send me back the money. Dr. Zhang was assigned to me and when I tried to tell her about her office staff lying, she told me she didn't want to hear it because she does not manage them and she is only an employee. She said these complaints about the incompetence of her uneducated staff occur on a daily basis and if she had to deal with them, she would have no time to be a doctor. Wait, what? So, as a physician who should be providing holistic care, this includes the overall patient experience. If you don't care that your patients are being lied to and have to deal with rude staff members who haven't been trained very well, then why would any person ever want to revisit your clinic and have to deal with those sorts of workers ever again? Well, that was enough for me. I believe it's crucial for businesses to train their staff on customer service and honesty, and how to properly conduct themselves on the phone and in person. Dr. Zhang could probably be a better provider if she had the support of an educated staff. Bottom line, poorly trained and low quality MAs and front desk employees leads to an exodus of patients. I will be sure to tell my PCP to never send her patients there if she values quality care. read more

This place will not return my calls or help me find an actual solution to my chronic pain and headaches. The doctor told me it is not migraines so migraine meds won't help and that's all he's pushing on me- more drugs and medication that doesn't even help! When I call to ask why this new migraine medicine is different I spend 15-30 minutes on hold for his MA to never call me back. Trying to get ahold of anyone at the Neurology Group to schedule an appointment is nauseating. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I called and spoke with Leon. He was friendly and so helpful. He even had me wait on the line while he got ahold of my doctor's assistant to make sure my question was answered! I have NEVER had customer service like this at the Neurology Group. I was so dumbstruck that I had to get Leon's name to thank him for all of his help and to tell him that he is by far the only person I have ever spoken to when I've called in the 4 years I've been with them that has been helpful. Scam they lie and say they're one nurse practitioner but they're really not and they think they can get away with it because they're on a telephone appointment with you and pretend to be someone else. They just took all my money overcharged me for every phone appointment & never spoke to a specialist/neurologist ever....yet they charge me as if I did. Even one of the nurse practitioners on her last week tried to warn me about it and let me know that she was leaving the place soon, but yet on my next phone appointment, they pretended to be her regardless of how many times I question them about it! Dr. Collin is an ass. Misdiagnosed me the first time, and trying to place seizures as an anxiety issue. Reluctant to do more than the absolute bare minimum, and answers every single question with another question or a hypothetical. I am not much for reviews but as a healthcare worker patients deserve great care. The lack and I cannot express this enough, the LACK of communication that is given here is insane. There is no communication between staff and patients nor with some providers as well. Getting in contact with the office is a whole hassle or even getting an appointment. If there are issues with insurance or payment I believe such things should be taken care of in advance and not a day before the appointment. A consideration of time is not valued here nor is the issues of some patients. I'm sadly disappointed and wish such things could be taken into consideration and improved. read more

Took a family member in to a follow up appt, waited an hour and a half before we were taken to the back, with no explanation. Dr came in, asked us why we were there, and who referred us. After explaining, he pulled up the record and mumbled to himself while he read it. Then he turned around and told us why she had a stroke. We already knew that. Then he scared the crap out of my family member by saying they were a fall risk and going to break a hip and might need to go to rehab again (family member is fully recovered and can run circles around most young people). He also talked in only medical terms and basically told me to shut up when I explained that my family member needed more basic terms to explain tthings. He was very dismissive, rude, and came off like an arrogant frat boy. When we left, I looked at the haven group's webpage.... the guy we saw was not the doctor listed for the appt and his picture wasn't listed on the page at all. Dr we were supposed to see was Mukhtair Kundi. Paperwork we got after the appt said we saw a Sanjeet Kundi.... looks like his son. Googled him.... everywhere he has worked it is all 1 star reviews for the same issues I have listed during our visit. I have never had such a horrendous experience with a doctor. read more

It took nearly 20 minutes to reschedule my appointment because I was repeatedly placed on hold throughout the entire process. For each step providing my name, confirming my date of birth, requesting a change of date, asking for the clinic address, requesting my doctor's email, confirming my original appointment was canceled, and even confirming the Upland office location I was placed on hold again. While I greatly value my neurologist and the quality of care provided, the scheduling experience was unnecessarily frustrating. I kindly ask that this process be improved. read more

All I can say is absolutely awful. Since July, I have had 2 appointments both canceled. The last one was never rescheduled. They keep scheduling me with a doctor who is on maternity leave which is fine but I never asked for this doctor. They even submitted for a follow up appointment authorization without completing the initial eval referral. Additionally. How can the initial appt which is for a nerve conduction study be via FaceTime, which by the way isn't HIPAA compliant. Another indicator they have no clue what they are doing. You can't get anyone on the phone, they don't respond to texts and as I have been sick since 2022, they obviously don't care. I had to call my insurance group and maybe can get authorization for another facility that's hopefully more patient friendly. I wonder if a complaint to the medical board would help? I would also like to add to support other reviews that the office staff are rude and disorganized. I told the neurosurgeon there and he did nothing cause they are still there. Never was faced with a receptionist that looks miserable, doesn't make eye contact and has no people skills. This is who greets you? Jo,MD he said everything looks normal they gave me a nerve test from old machine and the test results can out abnormal and it said I have axonal sensorimotor polyneuropathy of upper and lower extremities; Differential diagnoses include vasculitic,toxic and others I been going through extreme pain all through my body legs and arms are very weak and numb and loosing sensation in my arms and legs very numb and burning pains down my legs and arms been very fatigued and very weak and hard time walking very weak in my legs and my balance is terrible now I been complaining ever since last year I'm getting worser as I trust this place with my health this isn't right.my hands go through a lot of pain hard to close them all the way a sharp and aching pain my hands and wrists and my elbows and there is weird pain in my legs and arms and my body and hands I'm so scared this place should get in trouble I been begging for help and dr.sadiq is always busy for his clients.when I went in they said I'm to young I know that. The office is Amazing, great atmosphere. The MA Kiran in the front was very helpful and made sure I felt welcomed ! They have been helpful with my vertebrae fracture and getting me the right treatment and brace for my back to help me. read more

Wow, as with the others before who have taken the time out of their lives to write a review, the depth of The neurology groups disfunction is beyond comprehension. I have had to deal with their negligent doctors, criminally incompetent office staff, and Twilight zone educated phone operators for almost 3 years. I too have had to physically go to their offices to make and/or adjust appointments and to get test results for my severe nerve injury. The sad thing is, nerve injuries and repairs are time sensitive. It seems ridiculous that a medical office specializing in neurology wouldn't know this or have ANY standards relating to the seriousness of the conditions they say they treat. I eventually had to completely switch out of the Anthem Blue Cross medical group I was enrolled with to see how a REAL medical office operated and treats it's patients. Unfortunately, I've lost precious time and may have permanent paralysis because of it. I am STILL waiting for my appointments nerve conduction test which was done over 2 months ago. As with most of the other reviews, they made me wait for a moth for appointment with them to go over my results, the called 2 hours before my appointment to tell me the doc was unavailable and they rescheduled me for a week later. It was a phone appt and unbdlievably they told me that they didn't have the results and that they would have to ask the tech who did the test for them where they were. I am still waiting and as with both the previous nerve tests they did on me, I will have to go there to get the results and 'i m paralyzed (possibly permanently)and disabled. I wish I was exaggerating or making any of this up. I guess since I am a patient on medi-cal they figure it doesn't matter. I hope it matters to the insurance companies who refer us to them and to the medical boards in which they are licensed as this is bad faith in their part if they allow this to go on. We will see. I just don't want any more patients to have to go there, as I'm sure there are plenty of reputable neurologist's that practice in this area. I don't like to give bad reviews because I believe in bad days and off moments. I tend to extend a lot of grace for mishaps because, let's face it no one's perfect. But my God, this office is beyond ridiculous to deal with, and needs desperate help in the customer service area. At one point I thought this was a joke and there would be hidden cameras exposed because the service is that bad! I hope someone in the leadership team or one of the Doctors really looks at these reviews and does some internal improvements. Service is everything in today's society, and this place certainly lacks it! Dealing with this office was nothing short of a nightmare. The front staff's level of unprofessionalism and incompetence is astounding. Not only do they rarely answer the phone, but when they do, they promptly put you on hold without any explanation or courtesy. During my interactions, I was repeatedly asked for my information by the same staff member, as if she had never heard it before or failed to write it down. Even worse, in the middle of me speaking she would arbitrarily place me on hold, only to come back and ask for my information again as if it were a brand new request. At one point she just stopped talking and sat on the phone and refused to answer my questions. I asked if she can hear me and I can her hear and all the background noise she would respond yes, when I would ask her a question she just sat silent and refused to answer, all the while I can hear her breathing and all the background noise. When I became frustrated asking I know you can hear me why are you not responding, she placed me on hold for over 15 minutes until I hung up and called back. I thought this was a freaken Joke. No way could a business allow this much unprofessionalism. Do you know how frustrating it felt to know this person hears me and is purposefully ignoring my request for help. Overall, my experience at The Nurology Group left me feeling frustrated and bewildered. It's baffling to me how such blatant disregard for basic customer service standards could be tolerated in a professional environment. Review on The Neurology Group on 13th in Upland, CA. My 64-year old wife was seen here for most of a year. They only rarely answer their phones and their office staff is totally inept. They mis-filed a report from a specialist causing me to have to make 2 trips to the specialist's office to get it straightened out. Even after that, Alegra, the Physicians Assistant we met with couldn't find the report. They also mis-filed her PET Scan causing me to have to make trips to fetch the results again. During our last - and final - visit, they suggested/referred my wife to Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and a Dimentia Clinic and then failed to assist in any way to get her appointments. For 2 weeks, I was told they were waiting on authorization from my health plan, CIGNA, and they stated they would call us when the authorizations were received but 3 different calls to CIGNA confirmed that CIGNA had no record of any requests being submitted. Worthless starts to describe this office, but criminal is probably closer. read more

Had an appointment and went to schedule 2 follow ups. Called today to check on cancelations the receptionist never booked my appointments but gave me appointment cards, and my insurance already approved the tests. Never have I had a Dr's office tell me this..ever. as a Dr, He knows what he's doing. The staff do not. Update: I had been trying to contact Maria the medical assistant for 2 days as of today. I barely missed the call so I called back. Well, after I was done having to fight to get my appointment made that the receptionist at rancho never bothered to schedule, I asked if I could find out if I was to return to work or not. Got transfered to Maria she picked up the phone after it rang a few times I heard her or someone talking and she hung up on me. So I have now filed a grievance with IEHP over this and they will be in contact with this office over this and the incident with my appointments. It was made clear dr altamimi himself is completely fine it's the staff. Also mentioned how workers will turn their lines off to make it seem like you're on hold too which was also included in the report that was completely filed today with IEHP. read more

I have never ever felt so unheard as I did with Dr Puja Mathus. She diagnosed me after I spoke 2 sentences with her. Never heard me nor my frustrations. My sister went with me just incase I forgot to say all my symptoms but Dr Mathur never even gave me 3 minutes of her time. I asked for disability form to be filled out and she agreed to 2 weeks, fair enough since ALL my appointments with her were weeks apart. I called today and she changed her mind. Wont help with 2 weeks of disability. Pretty stressful to say the least. I would not recommend this office to anyone. In this building there is a neurology group that share the space with neurosurgeon and pain specialists. Dr. Altamimi is among the best neurologists in the area. His staff is awesome and always fast to respond. The schedule is pretty full, so definitely call-in early to make an appointment. He has another clinic in the Pomona area, but this clinic is a lot larger and newer...so it just looks cleaner and fancier. Dr. Altamimi will spend the necessary time with you if you have lots of questions. He often has medical students assisting with the new patients, so you'll also get a learning experience of what your diagnosis may be. He is seeing patient in-office and through telemedicine, but mostly in-office. The office offers neurology consults and EMG/NCS and lab testing. read more

We've been waiting for an authorization for an MRI for 5 weeks. Everytime we call they are very polite and say they are working on it and will get back to us by end of day. WHAT A JOKE! The paperwork we were given was collated wrong, half Spanish, half English. When I explained I DIDN'T speak Spanish, instead of giving me English paperwork she proceeded to redo the paperwork by removing staples and adding pages. Total S-Show.
