I attended the Yin class with Emily and was really impressed by her sequencing and the atmosphere she created, even virtually. When you're an experienced Yin Yogi, you can tell quickly whether you're taking a class by a yoga teacher trying to teach Yin or a Yin teacher teaching a Yin class. Emily is a Yin teacher! I felt so wonderfully stretched out and relaxed after class. I would totally recommend their virtual studio to anyone, because they are prompt with communications and getting their link out. At Woodstock Wellness Center all of the instructors have been wonderful. They seem to embrace and encourage all types of people - all sizes, colors, shapes, and abilities. The only little blip I ran into was one of the substitute instructors - she was supposed to be teaching a Basics class however she taught a class that was more of a gentle Vinyasa. I have enjoyed the many classes I have taken in the past 3 weeks and look forward to continuing my yoga practice at WWC.

She made some adjustments to my saddle position and angle, and bar height and angle, after taking measurements of me riding my bike on her trainer, and doing some flexibility assessments. She also taught me some core strength exercises and stretches and yoga positions to help, that I've been doing for a couple months since, and now I'm doing century rides easily with no pain at all! If I ever find myself in need of further bike-related physical therapy, I'll definitely come back to her.
